Great interview.. Please interview Gary Wagoner. He worked for Petty in the 70s and then spent the rest of his career with Childress.. Thanks so much for the continued history lessons through these fine people and you guys..
Great stories. Will is so humble, I get the feeling he and Dale Sr. were closer than he lets on. To Rick and Steve- I was hoping this interview would happen. Thank you. I wish there was a Part 3!
Dale Earnhardt was my arch enemy I was a Rusty fan but that February day I cried like a baby and have had it hit me every time I see or hear someone talk about that day and for the life of me I don't know why it effects me still to this day!
I was at CMS when the tires came off. A lot of people were throwing full beer cans and chicken at the 3 car when it came by before the green dropped. Some got up and left on our row of seats calling it pro wrestling on wheels, it was hilarious to watch. I also was there when nascar penalized Dale five laps for rough driving, then proceeded to throw yellows to give him laps back. The toe was knocked out enough to finally blow out the right front and ended his run.
Absolutely a phenomenal interview! Just wow ! Would love to get some time to know this gentleman, what a brilliant and honest look into the a world so few can only dream of .
This is my second time watching this video will Lind and all the flying aces needs to be in the nascar hall of fame great video and yes it still hurts I have a really hard time talking about that day it’s been over 20years
I want go into how I got to have dinner with Will in Daytona. But I want to say he told me and my wife that when he walked in front of the car after Dale was strapped in what his eyes looked like. Will said he was already running the race. RIP ❤️ the greatest wheel man ever lived 🙏
Glad to know your lived in Chattanooga! I`m born and raised there! I had a neibhbor that worked on a Grant Adcox car that Cale Yarbouroh had wreck and the put a front and real back on it! Then he had got in a wreck with it right after and totaled it again!
What a legend. Thanks Rick and Steve for giving a platform for this guy to speak. That Hoosier story is amazing.
Met Will Lind in the pits after the Pepsi 400 after Dale won. My first race. Great interview!
Thank you Will!

Great interview! 👏🏼
Awesome! I wish we could see some of those pictures he was talking about, like putting tires on at Charlotte in turn 1...
Cool interview either way!
These interviews get better every episode. A lot of people like Will really made the sport !!
I still get emotional with I'm reminded of the loss of the Intimidator #3! I agree with Will Lind ...that it still hurts.
Will Lind is like Bill Belichick with a southern accent...

Great interview. Would have also been nice to hear more about 2001-2017 at RCR though.
Exceptional interview, thanks!
Great stories. Always.👍
I felt that. When he talks about losing Dale.

Listen to the first 5 minutes, if you want to know what really happened with Hoosier tires.
