Like Cale once said "just get 'er close boys, I'll do the rest." Dale fit that mold. Thanks for reminding us to never forget................

Dale and Cale were on opposite sides of the spectrum - don't get me wrong I was a fan of Cale till the end - but Cale was a driver - he wasn't a mechanic - Dale was a perfectionist - close didn't get it- I guess that's why I liked ole Cale so much - I liked it much better when Dale was the bad guy - when everyone jumped on the 3 bandwagon I was pissed

@anthonylaudano9435 I know buddy, it's a joke, funny story in the 80s my guy was SR, and being a Cali kid, I saw this kid Gordon and started to be a fan, my girl friend moved from LA to concord, in 97 when I went to visit, we stopped by a Nascar shop, and there's nothing but SR Geer, I said to my girlfriend watch this, there's about 10 people inside the store, so kind of loud voice I said were is all your Jeff Gordon stuff at, holly hell it was like a open the door for the devil himself, and man did people in that store gave me a hard time, but it was funny, but I did buy my SR shirt still have it, I framed it,

Our favorite driver of all time. The Oppermans from Texas will always love and miss Dale Earnhardt Sr, your fans forever. We followed Dale and Neil Bonnett closely. We celebrated when Dale Sr won the Daytona 500- the big one in 1998 and we cried unashamedly on February 18th, 2001 when we lost the best =Dale Earnhardt, Sr. The Oppermans from Texas will always love and miss you Dale Earnhardt Sr, your fans forever

Being able to work with the greatest driver nascar ever had must have been such an honor. And things in nascar haven't been the same since his passing. Miss you Dale.

This was PRICELESS and a TREASURED BLESSING because I knew Ralph Earnhardt (met him at The Old Columbia Speedway in Cayce South Carolina way back and I absolutely loved "THE INTIMIDATOR " THE BEST RACE CAR DRIVER EVER IN THE WORLD!!!🏁🏆🏁💞💯💞🙏🏻🙏🏻 NOBODY WILL EVER TOP DALE EARNHARDT SR. AND I LOVE HOW DALE JR IS CARRYING ON THE EARNHARDT TRADITION AND CONTINUING TO GROW THE FAN BASE THROUGH HIS PODCASTS AND RACING PERIODICALLY WHICH IS HEART BREAKING 💔THAT HE CAN'T RACE FULL TIME DUE TO ALL THOSE MULTIPLE CONCUSSIONS 💞🤗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🏁🏆🏁

"When nascar caught all the teams using manifolds that had pieces in them that could move, we suddenly won 3 races".........does anyone out there other than me understand just how profound that is? This is my first time ever hearing any member of the RCR team say: "Richard Childress never let us cheat".

Around 23:00, Danny answers the question for me about that random ass Earnhardt hat that Dale was wearing all of speed weeks in 2001! He was trying to sell them LOL. Brilliant

Glad to hear what he said about the gray area. Dale had such an impact on NASCAR that the fans still love or hate him with the same passion as always. Every now and then you see someone trying to tear down his success by making claims he cheated and NASCAR allowed it. No one can ever back up what they say of course.

The OG fans haven't forgot the past... We just miss it. Us infield 'Tater heads can't be taught much, weve lived and breathed it. We've been poked and prodded into the corner because our money that built the sport... is no longer good enough. But, come by and see me in turn 3 @ Daytona and raise hell with my people at the Jedi Bocepus Bar, Mark's Pool Bar, Camp Shenanigans, Jackmans and the Monkey Bar and you will see some NASCAR history!!! BOTH RACES!!!

The Daytona 500 was both the best and most tragic thing to happen to Dale. 1998 he finally won it and 3 years later it took him.

If it's true RCR didn't cheat on the car itself, they sure had a big brother looking out for them. I mean when the president of NASCAR is a good enough friend to talk to you during a race over the radio, the he will surely make sure to oversee Dale's competition more rigorously.
