    The biggest lesson I learnt after starting to eat real and good quality food ie. Meat , dairy and some veg, is that when you eat a decent meal you do not want another for a long time. Sometimes I eat just once in 24hr. I'm 6"2inch and 100 kg.
    Eating 3/4/5 times per day is media fueled processed carb nonsense.

    This presentation clearly lays out the crux of the problem in many industrialized nations. The best news is, Dr. Childers also lays out solutions for many of these physical and mental health problems. This is clearly one of the most important presentations for the last number of years. Why? Because most professionals skirt around the problem and don't deliver affordable, long-lasting solutions. While most of the rest of the world blames much of the psychological problems on various defined 'mental diseases,' Dr. Childers has a refreshingly simple answer; many problems have their basis in poor nutrition. Adopt her solutions for a month and see where many of the problems go - they dissipate. This is far better than throwing drugs at mental health problems or even physical problems. Let's get off the roller coaster of problem/solution and address the mismatch between our ancient bodies and our modern diet. This is the only way to complete recovery.

    Most people suffer from the assumption that stone age people had the same diet all over the world. Big mistake. the further south you come you find more plant based food sources. And the blond race came from far north, and my ancestors went down trough Finland Norway., denmark and became the vikings later on. No doubt you won't find enough plants and fruits, nuts. in the aria northeast of Finland. Fish and meat from moose, and deer was the only choice. Not only that. After a hunt you stuff your face. And then you do fasting until you get lucky again. (=intermittent fasting). I stand behind anybody in the fight against sugar consumption. sugar is pure poison.

I hope to from to an eventual ideal weight from 289 to maybe 170- 155. Personally don’t want to be thinner than that. But Mainly I hope to heal, heal heal...I came too close to death.

    - 'Snout to tail' eating is a great idea, when eating pigs or hogs... or alligators. 'Nose to tail' or 'muzzle to tail' works for the other mammals we eat! :)- Just a generation or a few back, all our ancestors ate the offal- the organs, brains, abdominal fat, used intestines for sausage casings, and prized animal fats for food and cooking.- Unprocessed salts which still contain a wide array of natural trace minerals are not only a more healthy choice than highly processed (heated to ~1,200 F) table salt which also has chemicals to aid flow... they *taste* better! Himalayan or Redmond's Natural Trace Mineral salts are pre-pollution sea salts with wonderful flavor.

    I started taking vitamin D A K2 and E supplements and cutting back on my carbohydrate. Now when I go to my dentist she says I've gone from high decay mouth to low decay mouth, she asks me about my brushing and flossing but I do as much as when I had a high decay rate. I've heard that K2 encourages bacteria in the mouth that are tooth friendly, its not just a calcium mechanism.

    Interestingly enough, the US dietary recommendations changed drastically in 1977, the same year Ehrlich/Holden published a book touting some very concerning and non consensual population control methods. Holden later became Obama's "science czar". I only made the connection after going vegetarian and having a plethora of health issues, including fertility and dental (my teeth literally began crumbling despite adequate calcium/vitamin d), which led me to research fertility boosting foods. Nearly every one that was beneficial for fertility, namely, full fat dairy, were recommended *against* on those 1977 dietary guidelines. Just food for thought.

    Carbs too but the deeper cause is food with lectins and plant oils. Keto can fix everything short term but when you get slim and get carbs again problem goes back. The actual solution is going closer to being full carnivore and eating natural meat the grassfed animals - eating grain fed animals means eating as sick meat as yourself... doesnt sound as something fixing us right? And most of plans are high in lectins plus all kinds of foreign to our body unnatural substances and natural pesticides and toxins. Moving from carbs to greens (usually still on cost of meat & healthy saturated fats again) for many ppl fixed one problem but brought another.

      No, alcohol is what is the result after one round of fermentation. Just as plant starch becomes human nutrient after fermentation by the large intestine's bacteria, so does sugar after the yeast has processed it into a better form.

Try an experiment, you as a human can try to eat a animal the "natural" (without tools or prossesing the meat in any way) way as the dog eats a animal the "natural" way. And lets see who gets sick. She says in the begining "its my opinion" really i thought science and evidence did not need opinions, look at the data and its done no need for opinions there.

    A Psychiatrist giving information about nutrition is crazy.
    She said that she is prediabetic but she eats meat. Meat causes blood sugar to raise just like eating candy. She is right on the processed sugar. Comparing humans to carnivores like dogs is stupid. Dogs have a much stronger stomach acid and bile to break down the meat and fat quickly. Humans take 4 to 6 hrs to break down meat and fat. As soon as a human breaks down the first meal its time to eat the second. This results in fat in the blood stream through out the day leading to clogging of the arteries leading to heart attack, or storkes.
    I haven't had a cavity in 20 years and I eat mostly vegetables and fruit. So I'm assuming she is talking about carbs in processed foods not whole foods.

    • @Shendify
      @Shendify 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Oh please, where is the science here? I break down red meat within an 1 hour as long as I am not eating grains or plants. Good fat does not result in clogging arteries. Please show your science.

    • @kingmike40
      @kingmike40 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You wouldn't know science if it bit you on the butt. Wheres your science to back up your claims about breaking down meat within an hour. Good fat do not result in clogging of arteries, but meat is NOT good fat. Plants have good fat, meats have bad fats. You snake oil salesman.

    • @hectorvargas8547
      @hectorvargas8547 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      kingmike40 You cannot write proper English, but your worst lack of knowledge is about nutrition. For your own sake, do some more research with an open mind. Humans have been carnivores for millions of years more than Omnivores. Agriculture has only been used in the last, say, 10 thousand years and, indeed, humans are very close to dogs and cats when you compare their digestive systems. Nothing wrong with Psychiatrists giving nutrition information if they have the knowledge and experience as Dr Anne Childers has demonstrated over her many presentations. Worry about your own health and offer information that you are really an expert in. Not about nutrition in which you obviously are not.
