Hey Nathan, I’ve been looking for smallmouth lakes near the Medina area or even Wayzata and Plynouth… do you know of any? Everywhere I go there’s either only largemouth or there are smallmouth but not many and I can’t ever catch them. And also do you happen to know any good smallmouth lakes up around big lake?
The way you handled that musky hit was A1. Im sure you could have landed it, but the fact that you were grateful when it spit the hook shows your maturity as a true sportsman
Musky are an amazing fish and need to be treated with the upmost of respect. I just got into musky fishing last year and have fell in love. I was luckily enough to catch 15 last month on my trips across North Dakota, southern wisco opener, and northern wisco opener, the hunt for these fish is truly addicting, Thanks so much for watching this video, it means a ton :)
I had to wait a whole week to film this, I was checking weather every morning and it kept saying 30 mph, 23 mph, 41 mph, I finally got a day when it said 7 mph, so I left and when I got there it changed to 20 mph 😂😂😂 had to stay in the wind blocked areas all day
@NASPELTZ me and my friends have a small TH-cam channel called sports n stuff and we live in the cavalier county North Dakota and there is a dam near us called Mt. caramel dam and it has pike,walleye,perch,and crappie and if it’s ok with you we could maybe make a video together and I know thats probably not gonna happen but if u could make a video there that would be cool I’m also subscribed and love the vids keep up the great work

Also thanks for the content my son and I love watching in between being on the water trying to catch our first musky
I’m glad you like the content that means everything to me. I’m running a minnkota terrova 80 pound trolling motor with 2 100 ah lithium batteries since it’s a 24v system. It’s a pricy trolling motor but I bought it used and it has worked great so far. The only reason I went with a terrova is to have spot lock it’s one of the cheapest trolling motors with spot lock and I fish the Mississippi River a lot and have to fish in current so I thought it was needed. Another great option is the power dive, I think you can add spot lock to that for extra as well. Lots of options and it’s really hard to figure out what’s best. I usually buy almost all my gear used and if you go on marketplace a few times a day and check for trolling motors you will find a good deal in time. I hope you enjoy your new boat. I love mine so I’m sure your gonna love yours

I've caught just about every fish in Minnesota (mainly large mouth bass) but never a small mouth
Smallmouth bass are so much fun, lots of waters that hold them. You should try the Mississippi
