Will Pike Eat… A Pike?

This huge pike swimbait is going to be put to the test against some river monsters here in Minnesota. Over the last few weeks I’ve noticed a huge number of big pike with bite marks in them, that tells me these fish’s are eating each other. So if pike are eating pike, the only options now is to buy the biggest pike swimbait I can and see if we can catch a river monster.

Another good one - nice work broski! I hit that same area this past weekend with swimbaits and got into quite a few pike. Hard to beat those aggressive strikes!

5 years ago my son had a good 5 to 7 lb pike almost in the boat,when a monster pike had it almost all the way down its throat,I got a 43 in her,and people I have fished with have caught 2 50 inches,200 miles north of Thunder Bay Ontario,Canada!Thats my story and I am sticking to it! Heading up there with my two sons they are in there 50s and I am 75,I have been going up to the great white north for 50 years,and they have tagged along for forty plus years,do really well with large Doctor spoons!We leave on September 8,2023,God be with us!

My favorite species to catch is large mouth bass because of the wide verity of lyres you can use to catch them. You can pretty much put anything on your Lind and catch a bass. They are just fun to catch.
