Heads up this has been addressed in the latest Gen 5 version of the Mikolo, they've added a built-in stopper for the smith hook among a few other nice upgrades.

This is true Mikolo did fix this on the new cage but this video is for the early adopter's out there who got one of these before the update. 💪🏾

I got the mikolo m4 after i watched your video. I love it so far but notice that when i try to do hip thrust with the smith machine and the saftry spring it too tall and prevents me from goimg down all the way. You have a fix for that? I considered taking it off since ita not doing anything from me.

Yep I'd like them to be lower too! But you can just hip thrust from a box or a bench. I haven't done it but that should work.
