    I currently own two Power Racks, the Fitness Reality 810xlt Super Max Power Cage and the Sunny Health and Fitness Power Zone Strength Rack but I recently added the Mikolo M4 Smith Machine and I can unequivocally tell you that the M4 Smith Machine is leaps and bounds above the two power cages. The Mikolo M4 Smith Machine is the ultimate piece of home gym equipment and perfect for any fitness enthusiast! It comes with all the bells and whistles to help you get your best workout in and I’m feeling it. It’s a smith machine so it's ultra versatile and designed to help you get the most out of your workout routine, allowing you to perform a variety of exercises including squats, lat pulldowns, seated rows, bench press, shoulder presses and a whole lot more.
    If you are a seasoned lifter like myself you probably want to shy away from a smith machine because that fixed bar on the inside by this cage has J-hooks and safety bars on the outside so you can use it to lift the way you’re used to with a non attached Olympic bar. That has been the kicker for me. And if you’re a personal trainer this thing is next level. Check out the video and let me know what you all think and as always thanks for watching. Love and peace everybody. Out!

    I am interested in the Mikolo M4 Smith Machine but have some questions about it:
    1. What are the usable interior dimensions of the rack space between the inner edges of the crossmembers/uprights?
    2. What are the dimensions of the rear support feet sticking out the back of the rack on the floor?
    3. What is the highest height from the ground the smith bar can reach? What is the lowest it can reach with and without the safety stopper installed?
    4. Does the cable system support 1" plates with a removable sleeve like the storage pins or only 2" olympic plates?
    5. Can you flip the pull up bar upside down to save vertical space? Does this interfere with the smith machine or any other aspects?
    6. How long are the smith bar sleeves for loading plates on each side?
    7. Can the outer free weight safety catches withstand a 300lb or 400lb bar being dropped a short distance (under 1ft) onto it?
    8. What is the realistic weight capacity of the J-Cups with someone bringing down the bar and trying to rack it? Not just the static load weight capacity.
    Sorry for all the questions just trying to get a full understanding of the machine and if it will work for my usage and space!
    Thanks!

    Love the double pulleys with independent weight stacks, and that the cable output can be adjusted up and down.
    Not a fan of the smith part because of being constrained to a fixed bar path.
    Sticking with the 810XLT for now. But not opposed to upgrading. This one is not quite it.
    Keep up the great work Vern!

    Take you a pipe that’s long enough to go across from one pulley to the other, sit in the middle and use the Olympic bar on the j hooks to hold your legs down. That will allow you to spread your arms wider and get more underneath them for lat pull downs

    • @UsawaFitness
      @UsawaFitness  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did. Listen this is important. I'm not sure if they still pack them the same way but spread everything out on the floor but don't remove everything from the bags. The bags have a corresponding number/letter on them and that's how you can tell which piece matches the paper work. If you don't do it like I'm telling you you'll have to figure each piece out. It's not hard though. You can do it all by yourself. I did. I promise you I did. 👍🏾

    Thanks for your reviews. I am just starting to look at this companies products. I have a question: On the smith machine how far down is the starting point when doing deadlifts on the Smith Machine? A lot of smith machines sit high at the lowest point so doing deadlifts isn’t really great, the lower the starting point the better it is to do deadlifts and I like a smith machine to act as a supporting mechanism to help with doing my regular deadlifts off the floor.
    Thanks.

    • @UsawaFitness
      @UsawaFitness  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you're going to find the same kind of limitation on deadlifts with this machine that you find on others. It's higher then a free floating Olympic bar so I typically use a stepper when deadlifting with the fixed Smith machine barbell.

      Hey man, I meant to hit you back yesterday. Hit me up on my Usawa Fitness website's contact us page but that is crazy that we were talking about the same piece of gear and didn't know it. It's not overly difficult to assemble it's mainly like the rest of em it's just got a lot more pieces. It's not bad you just gotta take your time and pay attention because it was my birthday and I had clients so I was rushing and I make a few mistakes that forced me to start take that mug apart to fix. 🤣

    All you need is this some plates, adjustable dumbbells and something for cardio and you have an entire gym. Nice.

    The machine is not budget friendly it’s 1400 bucks on amazon.

      I feel you on that. It's just that Smith Machines can run twice that and it's at the more budget friendly end of Smith Machinea at it's price.

    This comment is not about this video but want to place it on your latest video to possibly help you get a little boost. Thanks for your videos on the DIY Carroll fly that I just discovered. This could be a complete game changer for home gym owners like myself who don’t have the space for multiple pieces of machinery.

      Thank you! I love that piece and what it brings to the table. I appreciate you checking it out and I'm glad you found it helpful.
