I can never get enough of your content! The two of you are so great and your reviews are terrific! I think what I like most about your garage gym is the variety!
You guys made much better use of the same amount of space I used for my home gym! Definitely jealous and getting some good ideas of what to do in the future. 💪 Wishing you both a very happy and healthy new year!
I’m so glad I found your channel before shelling out a shit ton of money to get a rogue rhino and a slinger to have something close to the ares, dial motion needs to get the ibex trolley back in stock asap 😂
Amazing gym. Great barbells. I keep going back and forth from the rep DBD, rep BD, chewy, or OPB in full stainless as a 2nd power bar. I wish i could actually feel the knurling before buying
I sort of don’t understand the need for so many straight barbells. If you do weightlifting movements, maybe a specific bar is necessary. But outside of that, are the differences really that noticeable? Like between squatting, deadlifting, pressing and benching?
I have a leverage gym, small pull-down machine, a GHD machine, and some fit RX 10-90 pound adjustable dumbbells oh a bench and that’s it for room for me haha.
ane thats still excellent! the point is not to amass the most stuff, the point is to make the most out of the coin and space available, and get the most use/gains out of what you have👍
You guys rock and always enjoy the informative, but not taking yourselves too serious videos. Looking forward to seeing you both hit the 100,000-500,00 subscribers in 2024!!
Im about to close on a house with a 1100 sq ft detached garage, which my wife has given me complete free reign to. I have a Rogue RML390F in storage, because I've been traveling for the past 4 years. I'm gonna sell it and upgrade my rack, and definitely pick up some of the items in your video.
As per Basement Brandon's recommendation, I replaced the bolts on the safety straps with hitch pins and it makes a huge difference. You get used to the straps regardless.
We've tried that as well. You can then move further at once with the additional step of removing the pin but they still aren't that easy to move at times especially vs other options.
Quick hack for the Kadillac bar. Get some pipe insulation foam, remove the end caps, and slide it in the sleeves. Significantly reduces the rattle without adding really any weight to the bar.
Absolutely incredible gym. Did you add magnets to your Rogue Aluminium silver collars? Can only see the Black magnetic version on the Rogue website (Europe one at least)
Love the content you guys put out! I’ve been thinking of getting a Bridge Built stable or battle station to keep near my westside bench and free up some wall space by replacing my gun racks. I see yours is on casters. Where did you get the casters from? Is that custom from bridge built or do one of their options fit into the holes? I would want to be able to spin it off the wall to get at the bars in the back but keep it tucked away. And thank you again for all you two do!
Bridge Built added the casters on for us. I just asked them since I saw caster's on a few products and they put them on for me. I'm very happy we got them added on, we move it fully loaded all the time and it's so much more versatile that way.
Nice gym! Would be nice to see what your storage area is since you don’t put any in your garage “mostly” and also a date night painting Bob Ross post gym pump ice cream eating video maybe on Whitney’s channel idk keep the videos coming definitely a end of week guilty pleasure of mine. 👍
what did you use and where did you get the black holed board that you hang all the lat pull attachments on? I need to do something like that and I really like what you did. Is that a Lowes run? If you could specify I would greatly appreciate it. TIA!
Awesome tour! I have the same issue with my Rep Ares cables twisting on the floating pulleys especially when there is little tension on them…What in your mind is the solution?
I'll probably take the top right side apart because I think I twisted the cable some when putting it together. If that doesn't work I'll have Rep send a new cable and cry when I have to do it again 😂
You know you're addicted to bars when you have your favorite overhead press bar 😂. 👍 Eddie Hall, Brian shaw, Ronnie Coleman, Cbum or even Coop from the garage gym don't have that many bars imo.
Random question but what leg rollers do you use on the Ares lat pulldown? I see them stored on the side just couldn't tell and didn't see them mention.
I love it. It's very well done and we had them add wheels which makes moving it around easy even with 12 bars on it. Great build quality and attention to detail on this thing. Code Gluck even saves 5% 😜
Thank you for the reply. How does the ares compare to the life fitness? I have an opportunity to purchase the life fitness but not completely sure which direction to take.
Curious why you stopped using the Pioneer belts for the beltfed strength belts? Is it that big of difference or is it just to support beltfed strength?
I like the Pioneer belts but find the Belt Fed to be better quality. We actually use Pioneer's levers on ours Belt Fed belts but Belt Fed makes these by hand and they're meticulous. Nothing wrong with Pioneer (we've got 3 of theirs) but the quality on Belt Fed is unmatched.
What exactly are all those black pieces connecting the REP/Rogue Frankenstein, where all of Winnie’s bars are hanging from? I get that’s a barbell hanger, but what is it that hanger attached to? It’s too tall to be a crossmember, it maybe looks like something attached atop of two cross members? Am trying to sort out what exactly is going on there, especially since it might help solve some storage issues I have as well.. Thanks!
I've been curious about Bridge Built's Barbell Stable. My garage is 96-97 inches or so, and I've been worried that in order to utilize the second row of bars that are elevated, I wouldn't have enough clearance. Do the bars go in and out of the holder vertically and slide in? Or, can they sort of "pop" in through the opening? I have no idea if that made any sense at all. Edit: Actually, yours appears not to have the elevated second level as the website does. Was that custom? If so, that might he the ticket.
The bars kinda pop in as you put it. You do not have to lift them up over the stable. You get the bottom on and just push the car forward into the top holder. Yep, it's all bolt together so you decide where to put the shelves. This thing is awesome. I think code Gluck saves 5%
Loved this walkthrough. Comedy gold 😂 I could've watched a whole hour of this. I'm debating the ares setup like you have as a standalone functional trainer since it is also a lat pulldown and low row in a small footprint. Would you guys still recommend this?
I think if you don't have the space for a dedicated lat pulldown/low row AND a dedicate functional trainer than the Ares is a great choice. It's got its quirks but we really like the Ares.
@@bear8046 no, but you must be. guy spent thousands...has an average physic you would find at planet fitness. That's most people with home gyms cause they put off their training and aren't consistent.
@@bear8046 thats your argument?. Insults. Lol. You still haven't addressed why this guy and the guy from garage gyms looks like an average physic you would see at planet fitness. My guess is your hurt because you have a home gym and look average and probably are not consistent with your training knowing you wasted tons of money on one.
Are you guys planning on doing a review for Bells of Steels All in One Trainer (either plate loaded or weight stack)? I haven't seen any reviews on it and I'm curious if its on the same level of "bang for your buck" as their budget cable tower
Yep. We've actually got the plate loaded and sectorized versions of both their Cable Towers and the All In One. The All In One vid should be out this month (I hope).
We tried our best to link our favorite items in the description but if you've got questions then let us know!

Thank you so much!
My favorite part of the gym is you guys. The synergy you two have is amazing. Love the vids as always!

Does the rogue rhino drop-in fit in the BOS manticore rack? Wondering if the lowest hole on the upright is the same height as rogues monster rack?
They're within a few mm of each other because other feet. Rogue's are a little heavier gauge on the feet but it's incredibly close.
