Let's not focus only on short-term gains but consider the long-term growth of NIO's stock. By calculating the potential revenue from battery swapping, we can get a clearer picture. Next year, NIO's revenue from battery swapping is expected to be around $3.6 million. This is based on the assumption of four swaps per day at a cost of $14 per swap, which results in approximately $730 in annual revenue per vehicle. With the current participation of eight companies in battery swapping and a monthly sales estimate of 50,000 vehicles, we can extrapolate these figures. By 2030, NIO's revenue from battery swapping alone is projected to reach $7.8 billion annually. Adding the fees from NIO's extensive network of charging stations, which are used by 85% of other companies, the total revenue is expected to exceed $10 billion. This estimate does not include vehicle sales from NIO's sub-brand, ONVO.

I do not like the front bonnet shut like because the line is broken at several places and runs pseudo-parallel to the crease over the wheel well, then switches to the top of the headlights.
Good concept, but I find the execution poor. Simple is better I think.
Too bad too, because I dig the overall feel of the front. This implementation of the split headlight is pretty alright.

    Have to agree with Sean.
This L60 definitely is not going to steal anything from Tesla.
The looks are average/boring at best and alot less refined than a proper NIO (side mirrors are pretty horrible). Granted its much cheaper.
The range specs are also nothing special , and not on par when compared to Xiaomi.
Which is surprising as they claim good aerodynamics and efficiency.
And comparing to Tesla is a bit misleading as this has a 900V architecture and Tesla is still achieving that efficiency with an inefficient 400V system.-
So perhaps the rest of the cocktail like weight etc is not that optimal.
No mention so far of other performance specs like Acceleration , braking and max speed.

@@reginald7214 I have no problem with Chinese companies and the cars are nice. But do have a problem with a company that has almost $5bn debt, losing $35,000 per car sold. And charging, on it's own, will always be a low margin business. So it's no wonder the number of shares has soared to 2bn.

@@shoelessjoe428 I don't get it. They'll be faster to profitability than Tesla. Why the whining about infrastructure and r&d? They have 6 automaker partners on swap, plus the government and electric companies for energy arbitrage. They'll be fine.

@@reginald7214 They could have 100 automakers on swap, but the margins will still be tiny - and getting smaller over time as batteries improve. Think of it this way, if you ask anyone who works at a gas station how much they make from selling gas they'll tell you that's it's not much and how they make far more from selling magazines and soft drinks. Now consider that 90% of people's charging will be done at home (increasing over time). Something that can't be done with ice obviously. This makes the economics worse.

Even after 6 years of launch of model3, none of the ev at the same class could match it in terms of handling and efficiency, especially the Chinese evs. Chinese evs all drive kinda mushy and sluggish, lagging way behind competitors from Germany and South Korea.
