Embracing My Scars - Minky Couture (Heart of Minky Story)

Her spine reached an 80° curve, her lungs and heart were being compressed and a 4th surgery fusing Ryleigh’s spine was looming. The doctors told Ryleigh she would never dance again. Ryleigh Bell, age 12, was diagnosed with scoliosis when she was two. But she didn’t let that stop her from pursuing her passion and living life to the fullest. Along her journey, Ryleigh’s Minky blanket became her best friend and constant companion especially during lonely times and frequent hospital stays.
