These guys truly get Tool, and how Tool fans treat Tool. I love how they understand why we love this group, but also understand why some just cant get into them.
"Tears in my eyes Chasing Ponce de Leon's phantom So filled with hope I can taste mythical fountains False hope, perhaps But the truth never got in my way Before now, feel the sting Feeling time bearing down" Writing does not get any better than this
I, being a 53 yr old woman who raised 2 kids alone, enjoying 3 grandchildren now ❤ and HUSH being the first tool song I remember hearing, Invincible at this point, sums up life for me in reflection, yet empowers my roaring strength and fight that I still have left, in this game of life.
@@marykate992 I think you can "melt" into the newer albums (from lateralus onward) in a more relaxed fashion. I definitely can put this in my car and just set it as the "soundtrack" for my day. The older albums I rock out to more as they are more aggressive. The new stuff I feel more viscerally.
@@KarmaKraze_11 I stumbled over to their patreon and saw they did do one.... but the last two times the YT video has been there on the day. But I guess when Patreon drops over it could be different.
46 years old, heard of tool, never heard them though. yesterday first time, now I'm 22 to again.....drumming in the living room and base in the bedroom. helllll yeah
Dear LostInVegas. Tool is coming to Las Vegas January 17 th. To the T-Mobile arena Don't miss it. The songs you love are even better in person. Please go and do a video talking about the experience!!!
Just saw them November in Raleigh, NC. You’re right, album is great but live is another level! There were a few times where, I personally, stood there in awe of just how tight these guys sound live. Then add all the visual effects. That show alone will probably ruin every other concert I’ll go too.
I am a relatively new Tool fan, I discovered their music on this channel actually. I have listened to all their songs, and I really don't know if there will ever be a band of Tool's calibre. The most incredible band I have ever heard
first i was upset that the songs on this album are so long. I couldn't even finished one during my way back home from work. I'm not upset anymore. I take the longer route. Problem solved.
👍🏾 , I just go to Houston which is an hour and back which is another hour so I can listen to the album twice ..............after I get off of work.... don’t judge me
The song is about getting old... It's about reminiscing about the crazy days of your youth, and how you felt invincible, but now in your 40s you're just beating tired bones, your invincible armour is wearing thin, and your shield is heavy.
macgonzo I agree with you that’s what this song is about it’s a heartbreaking and beautiful song. But one of the things that I find amazing about it is that it applies to so many other things too. I’m only 24 but this song really hits me because I find it to be the story of anyone who feels like they’re falling out with the world around them. Like they no longer have a place because how they’ve spent their life is no longer how the world works and they’re being forced to either adapt or fall away. That’s how I feel on a daily basis. The more the world changes the less connected I feel to it and society and I find myself always trying to figure out how the life I’ve lived for the short time I’ve lived it can be fit into it now.
buckshot1812yo I had to check out the full list of Grammy nominations. WTF, how is this album not up for album of the year. Oh yeah, the Grammys don’t mean shit anymore, they all Popped out. 7empest was nominated for best metal performance and Fear Innoculum was nominated for Best Rock Song.
What I actually love the most is how everyone was, at first, saying the album was underwhelming because it wasnt as heavy as some albums and even too complex. But now people are united in their discussion about what song is the biggest masterpiece worthy for an analysis. Its just such an awesomely balanced album... Every song is unique and deeply layered
It's an album that takes time to grow on you and that is the sign of a masterpiece for me. I've had it on repeat since release and still not tired of it which is impressive !
Maynard writes the melody AFTER the instrumental is done, which is why it fits so well. Also, seeing them live is even better, so I echo the comment that you should see them while they are in LV.
And even crazier is a fair amount of songs the last 2 albums were laid down by Danny as a drum instrumental. Then Justin and Adam come up with their parts. Shit unless they're touring all 4 of them are never in the same state let alone the same room lol
Truth. Maynard has said in multiple interviews over the years that he pretty much just checks in with the guys every now and again. "Hey, got anything sort-of-finished?" "No" "Okay, cool. See you next week" When they do get something done, Maynard tries to write lyrics and melodies that capture the same feeling the instrumentals do. Damned good.
I am SO addicted to this song! I try to stop listening to it, fearing that I’ll get tired of it. But it keeps showing up and I love it more each time I hear it.
I’m so surprised the haven’t even touched that song yet. I mean I’ve requested Jambi since they reacted to The Pot. 10,000 days album holds a huge space in my heart.
@@moedelaun that's fair, third eye is the song that introduced me to tool. And I didnt like it at first, but I wanted to learn the solo. So ive heard it a million times. It grew on me. I may hav been starting with psychedelics around that time as well lol. And I just vibed with it
I almost feel like this song was Tool asking themselves if they can still do the same thing they started with - that sheer aggression, Maynard's energy - "Weapon out and belly in" referring to his old hunched over position when singing - and realizing that they don't HAVE to do the same thing anymore. They can do new things and still have their strength. My thoughts, anyway
The song is more about coping with age than the success of their music careers. The fear of getting old and the acceptance of it as you acknowledge your past accomplishments and coming to grips with the fact that you’re older and past the prime “warrior” days. False hope perhaps but the truth never got in my way until now (accepting getting old, seeing the truth) feel the sting feeling time bearing down (age is undeniable). It’s not a flex. It’s an acceptance of mortality.
Jesse Kincel Weapon out and belly in is the stance of a young hungry warrior, puffed out chest, weapons out, belly in. Immortal and unafraid of challenge. Understand your analogy but I’m sure MJK wasn’t referencing his hunch stance on stage here.
Skipping 7empest is a sin guys. You will be stunned when you listen to it, please listen to it for the first time in the reaction video. I wanna see your mind blowing up.
I would bet they wouldn't like it nearly as much. I love 7empest, but its easily one of the weaker tracks on the album. Ryan and George seem to appreciate the song writing more so than the jam sessions
@@massthetics1013 well maybe they won't enjoy it as much as pneuma and invicible overall but I'm sure that they gonna love those crazy riffs. I don't think that is fair to call this piece of work "weak" but on the other hand that shows how ridiculously good are all the other tracks.
Legend has it, they are still starting and stopping the same part of Danny's solo to this day, discussing it's copious levels of overall and nuanced nastiness.
This is the greatest song Tool has ever done. Ever. It's that epic; the subject matter is powerful, it speaks to so many people and in so many walks of life. It gives me chills every single time I hear it and it's such an emotional journey. This is the pinnacle of Tool for me.
They have been on a different level to anybody else since Lateralus. Thought I'm not sure its the greatest song they've ever done it's definitely the epitome of everything, the thing that brings it full circle. I hope we get more albums though and we don't have to wait another 13 years for them.
I feel like TOOL is basically telling a tale of everyone's lives in this song. No matter how different we all are. How we are all warriors who battle others, ourselves, and time itself, ultimately for us all to lose the battle vs time in the end.
YESSSSSSS! That is exactly how I felt first time I heard it on album release day. In a strange way this song brings to me an element of hope and brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it! Thanks for the relatable words.
@@nrtg6290 I think that depends on your own interpretation. I dont think its only about growing older. I think its also about trying to recapture the passion that once made you great. Just my opinion
23 minutes in and you haven't even hit the halfway point of the song because the ramp up keeps rocking your skull -- yeah, its a Tool review! Love it. Even if you don't review it, you gotta listen to 7empest, because it is just an absolute masterpiece.
They have to atleast listen on their personal time and tell us in another video even if it’s really quick. 7empest is great! So sad. Maybe if we bombard them horrendously, they’ll do it. 😂
@@bdoug5316 lol..."kid" I'm pretty sure I'm older than you and have been a fan of this band longer than you have. Compared to Underdow, Aenima or Lateralus, 10 000 days was a MASSIVE disappointment.
19:40 Tool's transitions are beyond anything. Adam's ability to set up the next set of riffs by blending it into the current riff is elite and makes the transitions feel so smooth and natural.
@Tim Brandt i agree to this so so much. It's such a difficult thing to smoothly transition into the things tool does. It's so complex that people don't see it and just think it's simple. Which is the beauty of it. There is so much going on to their music than meets the eye. Every bar every second every note is played thoughtfully.
@@kunalkumar8217Reminds me of nature. Extremely complex in its entirety, but take a look with another perspective..and you see simplicity, presence, and beauty.
Re: 9:00 Truth. A Tool fan wants to share/introduce someone to the band - "Let me have 13 minutes of your undivided, fully engaged attention. No, you can't talk, you just have to listen." Many people don't have the attention span to engage with the music on that time scale. This tune brought me to tears the first time I rode it. The sense of loss I felt at the first faux ending at about 7 mins was unbelievably deep, and the elation that followed as it continued without a pause was equally high. The second faux ending with the measure of silence, again, felt like a friend had died, when they kicked back in for the last 2 minutes I was legit screaming "YEAH!!!!! IT'S NOT OVER!!!!" while driving alone down the highway. So filling.
I totally agree how you said that Tool is a band you can't passively listen to. There's so much intricacy in the way they create their music that takes someone who really understands music construction in order to understand. And by no means am I trying to gatekeep Tool, I think everyone can enjoy it, but in order to appreciate it you need to analyze it in a similar way that you guys do
I think that is why they have fended off the streaming platforms because they themselves do not believe their music should be background noise. I totally agree, the way that Lateralus was written in Fibonacci sequence is just mind blowing, I can see how anyone can do it (maybe) but for it to actually be an incredible song with true meaning is just unreal. I think Ryan and George are very objective and try to analyze without holding a certain candle to any one genre, truly unbiased one might say.
@@canturo3051 That's not why. They didn't really know how to navigate that space for their music. They had been out of the loop for the last 10+ years. They probably didn't understand how that would benefit them, and didn't want to jump into it. Just because the music is streamed, doesn't mean you're not paying attention to it. I could throw on a record and still passively listen to the music the same way I could if I streamed it.
@@fadedsun303 I am not arguing with you but at this point you can google their lawsuit situation and see that the hiatus was caused by a contract dispute or some technicality or something that gave their record label the proceeds from live and streamed music, not sure exactly how that worked. In 2006 when Pandora, Spotify and other streaming platforms were taking shape, they slowed down tours and in 2008ish they stopped altogether. It wasn't until their legal crap from their label had finished, that they were able to write music as a band again and began touring more heavily. So the issue wasn't after the hiatus it was the cause of it but your reasoning is correct, I don't think they fully understood the value of the streaming platforms until their label screwed them out of the profits from it. In Maynards book and video as well as a few interviews with Adam, I read the reasoning was more of a spiritual one. At the time I don't think legally they were able to discuss the intricacies and details of the numerous lawsuits and battles, I just like to think with the way they write and perform as well as its effect, the music is much more than background noise as they stated.
Totally agree with the 'Active Listening' comment. If you just try to casually listen, the music's complexity it self would just confuse, and without the lyrics the soul of the music is not there.
Listening to this song live is a WHOLE different experience. I remember when they started this song and being so amped. Just waiting for the climax. The crowd went INSANE
😂 same thing i thought. It was Descending for me.. i clocked in 89 hours of listening to Tool even though their stuff just came on Spotify in August lol
It did happen to me straight up. I had never gotten into Tool. Had listened to all their albums at least once back 2 or 3 years ago, but it was a "it's cool, but doens't quite do it for me" kind of reaction. Strange given that it's a style of music I really enjoy in general. About a month and a half ago I was in the gym, didn't feel like listening to anything in particular and thought "let's do some Tool". Played the first album. And sure enough, it was a combo of me having to do nothing else other than paying attention to the music and that it sounded damn good in those headphones, but they went right fucking into my brain. Since then I've been on a Tool rampage listening to them like 75% of the time I'm listening to music (which is many hours of the day). And I've both listened to and grabbed my guitar to play Pneuma don't even wanna know how many times. In a matter of a day Tool jumped into my top favourite bands. I'ts quite insane how great their music can sound once they do click.
Very few in the general public want something to appreciate anymore. They want it easy to dance to, or easy to find the rhythm, without having to devote attention. So much music has been tailored to the background. It's sad, but just how it is now.
Tool are masters at dynamics and polyrhythms. It doesnt sound like a jumbled up mess because they understand musically where to land on the "ONE" after separate parts and time signatures. Being a musician and percussionist in bands...that is EXTREMELY difficult to do. It is so easy to get lost. These guys have mastered it. They hardly ever hang out in 4/4. Love it. No words.🤘
That’s a great point about not being able to casually listen to Tool. Tool almost demands intense listening to get the full effect of what they want to do. That’s why multiple listenings of their songs can lead to you hearing different things.
Lost in Vegas are the only dudes that can take a 40 minute review and make it seem like 3 minutes .. that's how engaged and acute you guys have me when I watch you guys ... Ok , I gotta out my toddler to sleep now lol .. been procrastinating while watching this 😬
Don't be pissed had to chime in that that literally is like the least favorite lyrics in album to me same with culling voices "pointing fingers" type shit since he's already said this type of thing many times over the years. Have to be honest lyrics for a lot of this album didn't seem to touch me like that it sounds like emo shit at times. Honestly tho this CD is still strait up fire n I fiend Descending Pneuma n Fear that r all perfection to me no flaws or cornyness whatsoever. N when I say CORNY I just mean repetitive or whatever n in comparison to their other stuff so basically corny for them still means A just not A++++ their that good.
Ryan nailed it when he talked about how you can't casually listen to Tool and really appreciate everything put into the music. That's why you always hear something new every time you listen. Spot on Ryan.
Listening to Tool in itself is an education, and watching these two loosing thier shit and analyzing Tools songs is a bonus! I mean....its a 40 minute reaction and yet see the number of views...
Lost in Vegas Drinking game: Drink every time: 1. George grunts: “mmmm” 2. Ryan puts his right fist on his left hand 3. George makes the No movement 4. Ryan says: “That is nasty” 5. George puts the spin on the chair 6. Ryan says “I have to say something” 7. Either one says: “This is playlist” 8. George says: “We will get into the lyrics”
One of my low-key favorite things about this channel is how you guys mention a lot of really good points about a section of a song and summarize it with "Point is, shit's fire".
Guys you should go see them live. I did last month for the first time and it is literally jaw dropping to witness them effortlessly play these masterpieces in front of your face.
Saw them in October and I’ll be seeing them again in January. Before that, probably 6-7 times since 2001. My first concert was RATM in 00 and then these monsters in 01. I really don’t even bother trying to see anyone else with the standard set by those two groups.
This song helped me retire on my own terms from the Army. Had a long career but at the end, relevant and consequential really rung through. Who the hell makes a Ponce De Leon reference count like that. Feeling time bearing down, Amazing. Culling Voices is also amazing. Hope you enjoyed the concert. Saw them , for the second time on this tour, the next night in Phoenix and absolutely destroyed the place, even better than the first show.
Descending is lowkey the best song on the album and deserves more respect. Was hoping it would get a reaction. I agree that you can't skip 7empest! If you think Pneuma is the musical high point, Adam Jones would like a word with you on 7empest.
I actually like that one the least, but it's still a good tool song. Ironic, cause I really liked the instrumental before they released it. But 7empest blows me away more every time I hear it; I'm more of a bass guy and Adam still blows it out of the water
Once I came to terms with the last half of the song being devoid of Maynard, I really came around. The three minute mark and 7 & a half minute mark, two truly blissful moments on Descending.
This song is like building a layer cake. Build the base, then stack and stack and just when you think they're done they pick the whole damn thing up and shove it down your throat. This song is also unbelievable live. Adds a whole other level that the studio version can't touch.
@@leafsfan1728 Absolutely agree! Three of TOOL's all time best. To me Pneuma is musical edging while Descending is like an experimental track to see how far you can descend a song into madness. I absolutely love them both.
I remember first liking the chorus repeating itself in this song; then getting a real hit from noticing the layers like you describe. I've heard it now that many times its just one total masterpiece.
I think you meant "concept" but "conceit" is acceptable as well. The song is about reviving your old glory but I question if the glory was ever lost! We doubt ourselves too much. Btw you've got 20 years on me. Happy holidays.
Derek Fletcher conceit = ingenious metaphor. I may have overplayed it in my earlier post but this is an online community, and superlatives are encouraged. May you ever be “chasing Ponce de Leon’s phantom soul”
I've been trying to get my step dad and mom who just entered their 60's to listen. I can't wait to tell them that the musicians are in their age group!
The more heavy the riff, the more scrunched up. I don't think the guys got the full hit we feel from listening to invincible...yet. They were struggling to enjoy it and kept comparing it to Pneuma.
I listened to the entire album 4 times through when it dropped on Spotify, and like all the Tool albums before, I was not gripped. But, I know Tool has a slow-burn-on-the-soul effect, so I trusted if I kept listening, each song would emerge. This is why Tool is my favorite band; the songs don’t capture or infect me, like ear-worm ridden pop songs do; they are more like intricate landscapes my inner light illuminates as it gets turned on and tuned up.
Same. And even if i listen to any song from FI now which i do everyday i find so many new things new nuances in every song man. They are just on another level. It makes me emotional to think how they make such music! I am just unable to put it in words.
I’m a huge member of the Tool army, pun intended. What I really like is how Tool’s songs hold up amongst the musicality and their sound. 1 thing I love is that Maynard’s lyrics are so poignant and relevant going back to the days of Opiate all the way through. I first watched this review the day you released it and I keep coming back to it as your review of it is a bit like Tool’s music. It’s stands up to the test of time too. Same in other reviews going back to Iron maiden, Rush, Opeth etc etc. Love the old and new reviews. Keep them coming guys!
From a technical standpoint you should listen to Tempest. That tune is quite possibly one of the best they have written because it is like a retrospective of all their music; all styles in one 15 minute epic. Also, Descending is pretty killer except that it sounds like 2 separate songs put together. The first half Maynard is probably at his best lyrically, and the second half is pure instrumental craziness. All of this is said with the greatest appreciation for the complete album as a masterful work of art!!
First of all: You guys are the only reactors on youtube who can make a 40 minute video I don't skip around on. Second: I'm a pro sound engineer and since you guys talked a little bit about the production quality of your videos put a high pass filter on your mics. Every time you hit the table there's a 50hz ring getting through. Third: Since it seems at this point, with how many tool reactions you've done, you two understand and are part of the tool army. Welcome. On your own time (because what I'm about to suggest would be too long for a video) sit down with your gear and listen to each of the Tool albums in chronological order from Opiate to Fear Inoculum. Being the massive Tool fan I am, even I hadn't done this for the longest time until I made it a nightly ritual for the next 6 nights. Opiate, Undertow, AEnima, Lateralus, 10,000 Days, Fear Inoculum. Each of the albums has it's own unique sound signature and you can hear the musical seeds planted in the album prior. It's cool to see how their sound evolved as a band especially starting from Opiate where that EP is closer to punk than anything else for it's time and ending (for now) with Fear Inoculum which in my opinion has the most psychedelic sound of their albums. Strong recommendation to any other Tool fans that read this.
@@SanjeevKC-p8x They ain't Tool fans. They used Tool to build their channel. How do I know this, they've only touched one song off the most anticipated album of the year.
Right in Two might be my favorite Tool song of all. If the song was an instrumental only, it would be incredible by itself. But with Maynard's lyrics, this song strikes a chord and is more poignant today than it has ever been.
TOOL should invite these guys to a live concert. Like Gojira dit. They will probably be “crazy” and spiraling out. Oh and definitely review 7empest. At first listen I wasn’t sure but omg after several listens I was like blown away by it. 🤯
I was going to suggest Pushit or Reflection, but The Grudge seams to be a popular suggestion. I would be elated to see any of those pop up on here some day.
These 4 musicians are so tapped with spirit. Being so intrinsically connected to spirit enables such unique improvisations within the layers adding to the richness and texture they contribute, individually.
Pneuma, Invincible and Descending are the 3 best tracks on the album IMO!! Hopefully you guys react to Descending at some point...you will NOT be disappointed!! 🤘

Ryan is 100% right that you can’t really listen casually to a band like Tool because the music demands your full attention.
Aaaaand a long attention span which most oh this braindead society dont have
The song is about getting old... It's about reminiscing about the crazy days of your youth, and how you felt invincible, but now in your 40s you're just beating tired bones, your invincible armour is wearing thin, and your shield is heavy.
macgonzo Your shield’s even heavier in your 50’s
Yup, nearly brought me to tears the first time I heard it. Crazy this song comes out when I'm going through just that.
@@Adam-qs5ir same here, I'm 44 next month... I was like "I feel personally attacked" when I first heard this song 🤣🤣
macgonzo I agree with you that’s what this song is about it’s a heartbreaking and beautiful song.
Or it is about how an old soldier isn't feeling as valued as they once used to be.
I am not the biggest Tool fan ever, but this song is an absolute masterpiece, very very relatable.

buckshot1812yo I had to check out the full list of Grammy nominations. WTF, how is this album not up for album of the year. Oh yeah, the Grammys don’t mean shit anymore, they all Popped out. 7empest was nominated for best metal performance and Fear Innoculum was nominated for Best Rock Song.
It is for me! I don't care about any one else opinion
I’m glad they weren’t nominated. It keeps it more special somehow.
Opeth new album is really good too.
Why? Grammy is only marketing and propaganda
The album it's kind of growing on me. Now I really like it even though I think it could use some "heavyness"
It's an album that takes time to grow on you and that is the sign of a masterpiece for me. I've had it on repeat since release and still not tired of it which is impressive !

Descending is ridiculously heavy. It’s like being bludgeoned with the highest levels of renaissance sculpture.
Descending is a masterpiece
YESS
Maynard writes the melody AFTER the instrumental is done, which is why it fits so well. Also, seeing them live is even better, so I echo the comment that you should see them while they are in LV.
And even crazier is a fair amount of songs the last 2 albums were laid down by Danny as a drum instrumental. Then Justin and Adam come up with their parts. Shit unless they're touring all 4 of them are never in the same state let alone the same room lol
I’ll be seeing them Jan 28th in Atlanta. Pretty pumped about it
I'll be there can't wait 8 days! It's been since 98 seeing them,very excited for this show😁
Truth. Maynard has said in multiple interviews over the years that he pretty much just checks in with the guys every now and again. "Hey, got anything sort-of-finished?"
"No"
"Okay, cool. See you next week"
When they do get something done, Maynard tries to write lyrics and melodies that capture the same feeling the instrumentals do. Damned good.
One of the best Christmas gifts I could have asked for.
Totally
Same here man
Its funny how Gerorge talks about how they let Danny loose and do his thing in the song, not knowing there is an entire drum solo track on the album.

@@moedelaun that's fair, third eye is the song that introduced me to tool. And I didnt like it at first, but I wanted to learn the solo. So ive heard it a million times. It grew on me. I may hav been starting with psychedelics around that time as well lol. And I just vibed with it
This song is basically: Do we still got it?
f*ck yeah we do
I almost feel like this song was Tool asking themselves if they can still do the same thing they started with - that sheer aggression, Maynard's energy - "Weapon out and belly in" referring to his old hunched over position when singing - and realizing that they don't HAVE to do the same thing anymore. They can do new things and still have their strength. My thoughts, anyway
Couldn’t have said it any better. The more I listen to it, the better it gets.

@@musicalgrowth7952 7empest isn't weak at all. I just meant by comparison. You're right, it does highlight how powerful the tracks are!

This song has the nastiest breakdown in music history.

Yes exactly. The drumming on this part just rips my soul.
I feel like TOOL is basically telling a tale of everyone's lives in this song. No matter how different we all are. How we are all warriors who battle others, ourselves, and time itself, ultimately for us all to lose the battle vs time in the end.

Tool isn’t something you just listen to; it’s something you experience...
Jack McCalley *long fart noise*
Totally agree with the 'Active Listening' comment. If you just try to casually listen, the music's complexity it self would just confuse, and without the lyrics the soul of the music is not there.
Y’all ain’t wrong. Becoming a Tool fan takes time to focus enough to allow yourself to get lost in the music.

It would have been insulting to tool to be put in a conversation with those “musicians”

Pneuma is the musical highpoint of the band.
This song is like building a layer cake. Build the base, then stack and stack and just when you think they're done they pick the whole damn thing up and shove it down your throat.
This song is also unbelievable live. Adds a whole other level that the studio version can't touch.

Yes!!!!
Some of Vin and Sori's are 40+......
@@SanjeevKC-p8x They ain't Tool fans. They used Tool to build their channel. How do I know this, they've only touched one song off the most anticipated album of the year.
Don't skip Salival. Some great content on there.
Jeffrey Justice ❤️🤟🏼🙋🏼♀️
Parabol/Parabola, the king of transitions.
I agree to a certain degree, but then they would hear all the songs we want them to react to in the future
Tool plays in Vegas Jan.......................they should go see them!!!!
Best song on the album if only for Adam’s unleashed guitar
7empest is a modern day masterpiece. Unbelievable piece of music......as is the whole album in all honesty
Gojira did? 😀
I was going to suggest Pushit or Reflection, but The Grudge seams to be a popular suggestion. I would be elated to see any of those pop up on here some day.
Pushit, Salival version.
I want to see their faces during THE scream 😂
Best song on Aenima and best song on Lateralus? I second this
Only tool fans will watch a 40 min reaction video lol. Also, this is my favorite song on this album. Perfect choice.
So true bro 😂
These 4 musicians are so tapped with spirit. Being so intrinsically connected to spirit enables such unique improvisations within the layers adding to the richness and texture they contribute, individually.
12:35 "it seems like pneuma is gonna be their sort of masterpiece from a technical standpoint"
_7empest has entered the chat_
Nah they're right, it's Pneuma
7empest has been the one i have least listened to. The three i always go back to is Culling Voices, Invincible and Pneuma.
@@pedrochevez2090 7empest is my jam when I'm playing video games tho , it fuels me with adrenaline
Pneuma, Invincible and Descending are the 3 best tracks on the album IMO!!
Hopefully you guys react to Descending at some point...you will NOT be disappointed!! 🤘
Ryan "You know when you talk to your friends about Tool?"
Oh yeah, these guys are definitely in the Army, when you subconsciously become an Evangilist for the music and aren't even aware of it. Haha
#EveryToolFanCanRelate
Yeah...hahaha indeed...I mean who are they fooling? They for sure in the army. ...And not without good reason...
Tool is almost the definition of "the more times you hear it...."
Like a good oldest wine
