Thanks for this video. 1965 Chevelle replacing front springs, ball joints, sway bar links, Tie rod ends and sway bar bushings. First time doing this. Today removed most of everything, need to get a for lower ball joint that tool kit to remove and install ball joints. This video is very helpful and I’ll set up my IPad to review in the shop. 👍

Great video, but my question is what is holding that spring in place? What is keeping it from flying out toward you when work on the lower ball joint? Can you show your setup? Thanks

The spring is under the frame. The lower control arm is holding it in place with the jack

@@willgall1934 The GM A-body platform that most people are familiar with (and more parts are made for) is the 68-72 Chevy Chevelle - but also included Pontiac Tempest, Oldsmobile Cutlass and Buick Skylark. This particular rendition of the A-body was in production from 1964 to 1980 or 81, when they switched to front wheel drive - and the models mentioned above became G-bodies from 1980 or 81 to about 1988. My car is a 1964 Buick Skylark, and the parts I used were marketed as 68-72 A-body parts. Sorry for the confusion. blame that on GM lol.🙃
