You are very welcome, I have quite a few 6.7 videos. Good luck
Really appreciate this. Been wrenching for long enough that I now know the first move is to check TH-cam for some advice from someone that’s already done it!
My pleasure
I've been wrenching for 25 years, but only the last few have been on diesels. I've never done this job & when I do I'll have a head start. Thanks for the tips & tricks brother! 👍👍
No problem, I appreciate you watching. Good thing your getting into diesels because they are everywhere now.
The torque converter bolts is the hardest part and really they are not even that bad
I think it is much easier just to watch you do it! You make it seem easy! Excellent vid!
Thank you Bill. This video is the prequel to the upper oil pan removal. Thx for watching.
Tone, you definitely have the most in depth, instructable repair videos on TH-cam!
Thank you very much Blake, I appreciate that. Thank you for watching.

Hi, my name is Bruce. I have a TH-cam channel Blindman handyman and Twitch. I’m taking the transmission out of a 6.7 L diesel 2011 and your description was awesome. My biggest worry was finding all the bolts you’re very descriptive. Thank you for that will well liner tip, I’m working on it today. Hopefully, I’ll get it out. I’m 100% blind.
Hey there Bruce thank you for the kind words. I am happy to hear you found my video useful and I hope that you are able to get it done with ease. Thanks for watching
thank u for sharing your knowledge
Great detailed video, thank you!
Thank you very much, I appreciate you watching.
I am a transmission r&r guy I would like to see your method on turning over the torque converter more in detail I feel like I do it the same way but I just like to see other ppl method and take what they do better and apply it to my job so I can get faster I am working on one now but it has a deep pull so I have a 3in extension
I also like to see how others do things because sometimes I find a better way to do it. Thank you for watching and I will try to post a video on that in the future.
Hell yeah gunna take this trans out in an hour been awhile since I’ve done one
Sweet brotha thx for watching
I changed a flexplate in a 99 f550 on the floor without removing the transmission. Major pain unbolting the broken flexplate.
Wow that's tough. Good job. Thx for watching.
@@NutsandBoltswithTone It sucked but a buyer was on his way from 5 states away and this thing let loose when we tried to move the truck.
Great instruction, thanks.
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching

Long extensions wobble sockets and patience its a pain. Thanks for watching
Awesome 🤘
Thank you.
Thanks very helpful!
You are very welcome and thank you for watching. I am happy to help
Thank you very much!
You are very welcome. Thank you for watching
How do you remove the 2 cooler lines on the side of the transmission?
I believe there is a bolt that holds it in then you just have to pop it out. Message me on Instagram if you have any more questions. Thanks for watching.
How do yall reach the bolts on top of the trans
Long extensions and wobble sockets. Mirrors to view bolts.
🎉
Why is the book telling me to remove the engine support insulator nuts to remove the transmission?
I am not sure why it says that. I have not pulled one in a while but pretty sure you do not have to do that. Thanks for watching.
Hmmm. This is the closest video i can get to a 6.2l trans removal.
Probably pretty close message me on Instagram your vehicle info I'll try to look it up for you. Thanks for watching
So did the transfer case stay up? I didn't see it with the trans on the jack.
I keep transfer case attached to the transmission. Thank you for watching.
what is re and re time of trans? and everything needed to do it
I think book time is 9.5 hours for the upper oil pan. This includes trans removal. Parts you need. 4 Seals for oil cooler, 1 seal oil filter adapter, rear main seal, upper oil pan gasket, Ford silicone, 5 gallons of coolant, oil and filter, the newer oil cooler do not have a stud that goes through the upper oil pan, I always replace them with the job. Oil pressure switch is almost always leaking so maybe that. If u still have plastic lower oil pan then you will need that with 15 new Bolts. I think that's it. Hit me up on Instagram if u have anymore questions. Thx for watching
Your link tree Isent working what's your Instagram? I do have a couple more questions that hopefully you can help with

What transmission jack did you use for this job?
I have used like 3 different ones over the years. we have a big one that is set up for fuel tanks, I turn it long ways and use that one. That transmission is heavy so be careful. Thank you for watching .
How much does it cost to do this job?
I do not see dollar amounts and to be honest when I pull the transmission in these it is to do a rear main or upper oil pan or both. Not sure what the cost is. If you message me on Instagram with your vehicle info I can look up labor time but that is all I can help with. Thank you for watching.
How u get to the two top bell housing bolt
It is tricky but it can be done. Thank you for watching.
Magic bro, I use my hand to guide the left one that holds part of the fuel line bracket and the right one I use a mirror to find it. it helps if you have magnetic sockets.
@@littlebrw the right one is the hardest one because of the down pipe
👀
Are you on Ohio? Lol I need my upper oil pan done! Lol
Unfortunately I am not, I am in California. If you make your way out here we can take care of you. Thanks for watching.
