Kia competes with GLX not the Sport! There is a HUGE difference between GT-Line and Sport, whereas the GLX and GT-Line are very similar in price. With a deal the Suzuki will be 29k (31, 499 normally) but the Kia is 23, 490. Stupid comparison, it's not just 'The extra dollars' they are in completely different classes.

Jaymate these cars are DIRECT competitors in everything but outright horsepower and price. And the actual price difference is not as extreme as you suggest.

@@sugarnads You are a moron if you think they are direct comparisons.

@@sheezy2526 there is a huge price gap.to put this into context. The Rio would be like a 21st century take on how we remembered things like old school Golf Gti's,Pulsar SSS and the like.Suzuki is more of a new age Peugeot 205gti or a more practical version of a 1987-1992 honda crx and others of its kind.

There's no way in the world this is an even comparison if both cars had the same kind of engine output then that would be fair ID rather the KIA personally it gets 7 year warranty

All depends on the driver as to how much you get out of your car

You are sitting way to close to the steering wheel! If you are involved in an accident dont worry about the other car killing or injuring you, instead worry about that airbag smashing you in the face and potentially breaking your neck. Why do most of you women drive so claose to the steering wheel? I dont get it...

    • @raulferro3998
      @raulferro3998 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

They are usually shorter than us hence why they move the seat forward. They have smaller torsos and shorter arms making it more difficult for them to properly reach the steering wheel comfortably without adjusting the driver's seat.

@@raulferro3998 Sounds sexist to me! Maybe they should take God to court over this blatant inequality! :)

This is Australia. We dont have killer airbags. Ours are far more user friendly than other places.

When my 2013 Suzuki Swift Sport got rear-ended and written off last week I thought great, time to get the new 2020 model... then I sat in one, Suzuki, what have you done? I am 193cm and those seats, I just don't fit :( very upset boy.

Consider Kia GT Line că arata mult mai bine motiv pentru care am și cumparat-o.

Both cars are built with manual and automatic transmission but you can't get the auto Swift in europe or the Rio manual in australia. Logic? Also why wouldn't Kia build a proper GT to rival the Swift? A GT with an 1.4T engine and 150 hp shouldn't be a problem.

The Swift is built in India. So I'd pick the Kia.

      JFomo you are wrong friend
Swift is not build in India 🇮🇳
The Swift Sport is build in Japan 🇯🇵
And the 1.2 and 1.0 versions are build In Hungria 🇭🇺

    • @raulferro3998

You are partially right and wrong. The Swift in it's lower trims is built in India but the Sport version is only built in Japan. I own a 2019 Swift Sport and the VIN begins with "JS" which means Suzuki Japan.

Raul Ferro you will find all 2018 + Swifts purchased in Australia are made in Japan. It is only the Mauriti Swifts that are made in India solely for the Indian Markets. These have never made it to the Australian Market. To confirm you can go to Redbook's website and search as it will show you where the Vehicles were manufactured. 2017 and prior, all Australian delivered Sports were manufactured in Japan, the other Swift models were manufactured in Thailand.
