Limbsaver recoil pad installation and review

- I bought a Remington 11-87 20 gauge for my wife. It still has a little kick . So I picked up a Limbsaver recoil pad and installed it to help with the felt recoil. This video runs you through the installation process.
The limbsaver pad does make a difference!!! It felt much better when we were sighting in this week. Thank you

I put a limbsaver air tech pad on my Mossberg shotgun about 2 years ago. That $42.00 was the best money I ever spent on any firearm accessory.

I put one on my Ruger md77 mkII, 30/06. Man what a difference it made....alot more comfortable to shoot it.
Does your ruger have the skeletonized paddle stock and stainless barrel? I almost bought one in 7mm rem mag.
@@TheHunterGatherer No, I dropped the action into a Boyd's laminate stock,. Nutmeg pattern.
My original stock wasn't the paddle style, I bought the rifle in 2002. It's the stainless allweather 👍
I'm now using a Houge overmoulded stock.. ghillie green color......the Boyd's stock was to slippery
Glad to hear. My father is starting to have trouble with his old 30-06 M77 MKI. The scope finally died after 50 years. I thought it might help if I replace the pad too while I was updating his scope.
I got one for my 12gauge side by side and haven't tried it yet but i also grabbed some low recoil ammo

Just bought a REM 700 .30-06 built in 1962 with a curved stock. I cannot find one anywhere to fit my stock.
They used to make one for wood stocks that you can sand/file down to fit. Not sure if they still do or not.
I need something for my M70, 30-06 was kicking my ass Sunday, I'll check these out

It is the same thickness as the remington pad that came off the gun. This particular one is 7/8" thick in the center and 1" top and bottom.

Will the airtech pad fit a 2012 Benelli super vinci as i believe mine has a medium comfort tech pad as standard?

hey brother, Ken here. recoil doesn't bother me. in fact i enjoy it to a degree, but i've a question for you. recently my brother gave me a 20 gauge maveric 88 youth model with screw in chokes. short barrel, ideal all around little shotgun including home defense. the issue i have with it being a youth mode and me a big guy is when I aim it my thumb on my shooting hand rests right under my eye up against my cheek. you know of any stock extensions to remedy this? i dont want any black eyes lol

I'm about get one of these in medium for my mom's Mossberg 500 20g youth bantam, telling her she needs to learn shotguns and at least the ar platform because all she knows is revolvers

Installation?
Sorry about that. I thought I discussed the installation. There are 2 screws in the stock recoil pad. Remove the screws (Phillips #2) and pull the original pad off. Reuse the screws to mount the new recoil pad.
