Dr. Ekberg, I got my labs back today after eating carnivore six months. My doctor was shocked because all of my labs were excellent, including cholesterol, which he said if I went on carnivore that would skyrocket. Well it didn’t, and it’s amazing to feel healthy again after being sick so many years. My cardio doctor has taken me off two of the four meds for congestive heart failure, and after my echocardiogram she said with what she sees in my labs I will go off the other two. Carnivore for life!❤I’m 67.

@@chrisloynes7796 whenever I have needed to lose weight I turned to paleo, never gained that weight back either. I’ve tried eating other ways that are recommended by doctors, but I would always gain weight on their suggestions. I am a firm believer we’ve been lied to for years on how to eat proper. If carnivore eating has healed diseases I’ve had my whole life, then I will continue to eat this way as long as it works for me. Might I ask what I need to watch out for? Knowing ahead of time might make a difference for me. Thank you for your reply.

This video addresses what I needed at this present moment. We buried a sibling almost a month ago. Since that time I have been buried in regret. I'm in emotional distress because I wasn't at hospital bedside holding his hand when he transitioned. We'd just spoken 36 hours prior. He was mentally alert like he had not been in a long while. There was laughter. He was looking forward to the future. Our love for each other was expressed. I was so happy for him. We lived in different states. Financially, I couldn't afford to fly to be with him. Any other mode of transportation is physically taxing. I did what I could do. Sleep has been nominal. I cry in public, so now I'm reclusive. I watch your channel often Dr. Ekberg because I trust the information you give because I understand the science it's based on. So, first, I'm going to let it go. Next, I'll breathe, meditate and reset. Thank you.

If you have an anxiety disorder, have your adrenal glands checked. Get your doctor to put in a standing order for blood work and when you have your next anxiety attack, get blood drawn... And don't give up. They like to "treat" the individual symptoms rather than the cause. They love to tell us its all in our head and in a way it is. If your adrenals are malfunctioning, they send a signal to the brain that tells it you are in a fight/flight state and your pituitary gland sends signals to your heart and lungs to pump more blood and get more oxygen.

We switch off from the outside world while living in it by observing the movement of thoughts and emotions. Not the movement of the content of thoughts and emotions, but the movement of thoughts and emotions. You can't use knowledge like: how to do it, but intention or belief that thoughts and emotions are the momentary movement of the content of conscious and unconscious thoughts in the head and heart. It is enough to practice this meditation 10 minutes a day in any position. If you say you can't do it that way it's like saying: I don't want to do it. This meditation is not an exercise of skill but an exercise of intention.

I found opposite breathing to traditional way noted here and everywhere make huge positive difference. I measured heart rate and started to breath in a hybrid way like I felt natural plus some control. The method was slow over pressurized breath IN and fast totally relaxed let go OUT. I have no aerobic capacity to breath out slowly without getting stressed. Part of it is that breathing out slowly is hard work - similar to lifting weights. So I did it my rebel way and measured resting heart rate just right at wake up time and it went down from min 56 to min 53. The next day was very succesful on slow 45min ski pole jogging being exceptionally easy which for me happens like once in two months. I have noticed sometimes same phenomena while jogging and breathing starts to match the jogging pace. At that time breathing out in fast relaxed let go manner gives rush of oxygen - I can feel it. When I say "fast" it means 'not adding in any effort' to out breath but instead consciously not putting any opposing force to out breath. In fact the whole morning procedure was. :
    1. Breath in and over fill lungs with some excess pressure
    2. Decide smooth natural moment at the top phase of breathing cycle at which you let breath go out without any opposing force.
    3. Then at the bottom phase of breathing cycle - wait - until your body signals with natural commanding force to breath in again.
    4. Here also give for in breath some additional filling pressure and let go as relaxed again without opposing.
    5. Breath normally totally unstressed as you wish few times(2-5) and repeat the programmed method from step 1-4.
Repeating this 5 step cycle more than 15 minutes in fully rested state like in the morning before getting up the bed changes oxygen content up and heart rate down measured by oximeter. Key is to be totally relaxed at out breath and feel it.
Oxygen content can always be raised by just breathing deeply few times but affecting heart rate is different story.

The best meditation is to study the Word of God, the Bible.
Get to know Jesus, His sacrifice for us, His infinite love for us!
He is coming soon and we need to be prepared to meet Him.

One just needs to learn Energy Anatomy versus Physical Anatomy to know how to manipulate the ANS.

    Great session...
The power of controlling your emotions can be that third element of a strong triad of action we can take to maximize chances we are able to lead a rewarding and fulfilling life...
I'm addressing all 3 myself, and it's a work in progress (perhaps we all are in this stage, at different points of the continuum)...
A positive outlook will be helpful IMO...It also makes just living a lot more fun...
I teach business owners to use a 360 degree approach...
It's not enough long-term to know the profit/loss and mechanics of the business...
Health, mental wellbeing, nutrition, fitness, all play critical parts of success...
The same applies to life in general IMO...
    Thanks, Doc....

I feel that the base stress level reduction comes automatically once you start fasting. Yes, the first few times it is harder, but the more you train your body to accept fasting, the less it is taken as stress, but more as a perfect time to clean up and calm down. I think fasting is above meditation.
