Comfort being the most important factor in choosing between these 2 pairs, I finally opted for the Aful P5 during the Spring Sales !🙂 Can't wait to have them in my ears !
Yes, more PULA PA02 thoughts. I've been scouring the internet and youtube to find as much info about them as possible because i'm waiting for my pair from AliExpress.
Nice review. thank you. I already have the P5's and really enjoy them. I know the PAo2 has had a bunch of great reviews but I can't justify the purchase.
Thanks for watching! Since you already have the P5's and are enjoying them, getting the PULA PA02 would likely be more of a sidegrade, as the differences in sound are minimal and they sound quite similar. Enjoy your P5's!
@@cyber_dbs The Pula Pa02 sound more coherent. With a bit more upper mids. The Explorer has slight ba timbre but that isn't bothersome. I don't own both of these. I have the Aful Explorer, auditioned the Pa02 from a friend. If you don't have any of those and prefer a more energetic one, get the Pa02.
@@Atechreviews Thanks for the doing this review. I just received them.. As you pointed out in your video, I was initially concerned about the size difference compared to the Performer 5's. Surprisingly, the PA02 actually fit the shape of my ear better. I'm using spinfit cp100 (L) tips and the fit is actually perfect with great isolation. Running them off of my fiio Q15. So far, so good with my current playlist.
Waiting for this comparison. Have the p5 and didn't buy the pula or the cklvx because they seemed pretty similar. And because although i find the p5 a good iem, it's not one of my favourites and to me doesn't justify its price. I like a more clean and technical presentation. To me the p5 seems a bit cluttered and bloated sometimes. Instrument separation, soundstage, resolution and detail retrieval seem average at best when looking at its price. There are a lot of cheaper sets that do better in the technical department. Hope you can get your hands on the letshuoer cadenza 4. Seems more like my thing. According to what i've red and seen seems more neutral, clean with more detailed presentation while remaining natural sounding.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm a bit late to the party with the P5. I agree that there are now different options available at the same price, offering a different sound signature. The Letshuoer Cadenza 4 is interesting.
The Falcon Ultra has a warmer, bass-focused sound with good clarity and detail. It's colored but enjoyable. The PULA PA02 is more neutral with less bass and fewer technicalities. I enjoyed the Falcon Ultra much more than the PA02. I'd choose the Falcon Ultra for its detail, sound stage, tuning nozzles, DUNU S&S tips, better bass, fun and natural sound, and super impressive accessories.
@@Atechreviews thanks I have another question. I bought Blon bl03 (20$) 2 years ago & Loved it. Tangzu wanner ( loved it. ) Then I got S12 Pro and liked it. Got Simgot Ew200 which i preferred over the S12 Pro. But then I bought Aful performer 5 i hated it. P5's tuning is what I love on paper. But when I tried them they were just ok. Vocals didn't got me engaged, bass was ample & warm no details there. Treble was good. Then bought Chopin ( loved it's details, vocal etc but bass was okaish. Texture was good but Lacked warmth. ) due to fit issue i returned them. Now I'm thinking between Thieaudio Hype 4, Origin and Falcon Ultra. I don't know if I would like Hype 4 as P5 was my first hybrid set and I didn't liked it. I like bassy for edm, neutral for vocal sound signature.
@@fuzail3379 I love the Hype 4 and the Falcon Ultra but they have different sound signatures. If you like warm, bassy sound with neutral, clear vocals, then Falcon Ultra is the IEM for you. They even come with two tuning nozzles to adjust the sound.
@@Atechreviews Aren't the PA02 and Hexa quite different in sound, and the PA02 is more than twice the price? I got the Hexa from Amazon and returned it after 2 days because I found it somewhat thin and analytical. I was surprised because a lot of TH-camrs are hyping the cr*p out of it. My impression from all the PA02 reviews is that it is a much more comfortable sounding and engaging iem, while still having a lot of detail.
@@thomaskuhn6541 Sound preferences are subjective. The Hexa and PA02 are quite different in sound, with the Hexa having a neutral, tonally correct sound signature. I appreciate its ability to remain resolving even during busy passages, which is why it ranks high for me. Using foam ear tips can smooth out the treble and remove any perceived treble emphasis. The hype around the Hexa might stem from its impressive price-to-performance ratio. It sounds like the tuning of the Hexa didn't align with your preferences, which is perfectly okay! The PA02, being more engaging, may indeed be a better fit for you. Enjoy your audio journey!

I think the PA02 are a stunning set.
I agree.
Wondering if you will try the SL41 as well?
Hmm.
I'd love to see your review of SL41 as well!
please do a pul pa02 vs p5 vs tanchjim orijin comparison video
OK. I will try to find the time and do that 🙂

Pula definitely
P5 looks good tho, Pula looks kinda cheap and oversaturated..

Dusk is superior than both. For me AFUL iems lack bass and 3-4 khz
I agree about the low bass. The Dusk is likely to cost around 50% more than the AFUL, but it will probably offer better sound quality.
