Hey some added context on the Imane drama... She was disqualified by a Russian led panel of judges who refused to provide the test results that led to the disqualification, this resulted in a Russian boxer's (that she had just beaten) 'unbeaten record' being restored. Since then the IBA has had recognition revoked due to among other things, corruption. From wikipedia, it lists the sources if anyone is curious
Thank you! Yes, I found out about that specific "political" corruption after I filmed this video. Very interesting indeed. I'm waiting for more updates regarding the lawsuit too but I think it will be a while before we hear anything.
Former student of yours: You did a great job as a tutor. I did not think your soft-spoke-ness held you back from eloquently conveying complex ideas. Unfortunate that you get some hate for this topic from people who do not understand nuance I hope they at least watch the video before leaving those comments.
Thank you so much, Hanay! It's lovely to hear from you, and I'm glad you enjoyed my classes and the video - always a great chat after classes with you. I hope you are doing well in NZ land! 🥰
That’s great that you have degrees in sociology… but sex is the domain of biology and it very much is binary by definition as there are two reproductive roles in anisogamy.
Not sure where you got this idea of more than two sexes… that’s not supported by any literature. You misunderstand intersex, let alone the fact that intersex is not a sex. You misunderstand the nature of the surgeries, you think that it is sex reassignment, and your claim about intersex rates is completely wrong. I really think you should do some reading in intersex conditions as you believe they are neither sex or some other sex. Also not sure why you keep saying western society when this is agreed upon by biologists across the planet. Not sure you know what a spectrum is… two is not a spectrum. A spectrum would be infinite sexes
Yes it is. Social constructionism is code for "anything I say is true is automatically true". Your thesis sounds like a complete waste of time and resources. Would you get excited at the prospect of fighting in a war? Yeah, didn't think so. The time for this kind of fad is ending, no one will be saying these arguments in a couple years, you'll be embarrassed you ever wrote a whole thesis on it. Mark my words.
@@king_baallzz Obviously I watched the video, even though it's 100% predictable what she's about to say (and very hard to get through as it sounds like she's on the verge of crying the whole time, very revealing), and that's precisely what my comment is clearly responding to. "World view" is a phrase that applies to you and her, as it's a specific ideological perspective on reality, rather than just assessing reality itself.
@xarastewartmusic I don't know I think making a judgement about her based on tone of voice seems pretty nasty to me. If you can point out my nastiness, I'll happily take it back. If not, I suggest you think about judging the arguments put forward rather than the person. Have a good day
AGREED! ❤❤❤❤

Did you even watch the video? Or did you just see the title, get triggered and leave a comment because it didn't fit your world view?

@xarastewartmusic there's no need to be nasty. Just asking a question
@@king_baallzz You're the one who's not trying to be nasty? Lol sure
