We really should be paying for these videos. This is by far the best explanation of conditioner I have EVER seen. Thanks so much for being so professional and willing to take so much time to create GREAT videos. I have loved you since the beginning of your channel and I will continue to!
I love your videos. I have been natural for 3 years and you have helped me so much. Other videos are informative but they are not as fun as yours. Keep up the good work. And please keep making your wonderful videos.
Thank you so much for these detailed videos! They are so informative and very well produced. Thanks so much for the info, it's been very helpful! Please keep sharing!
I stopped cowashing months ago because my hair had a lot if build up on it. This just validated my reasons for going back to using sulfate shampoo again. Since then my hair feels and looks so much better.
So how many college credits did I earn from watching this video, because I have learned a lot, LOL. You are so informative, you make understanding what the average person wouldn't normally know about so easy. Thanks.
Thanks a lot. So many videos out there giving false information. I know it may be a lot, but I would like some references as to where you are getting this information. I also want to know about how to properly protect hair for heat styling.
I love love your videos. I have been a fan of yours for at least two years. I stumbled across your channel after I did the big chop. I had cut so much of my hair off and didn't know exactly what to do with it. I thought about braiding my hair, but I am not really good at braiding with extensions. I found your video on two strand twisting. I learned how to twist my hair. The videos were really easy to understand. I felt like I was doing something wrong cause I wasn't paying for the service you provided. The twist came out so pretty, everybody loved them. I got so many complements. I want to say thank you so very much. I have learned so much from you. Again,I want to say thank you. I got a question though. How do I get a man hair to grow? nothing im doing seems to be helping. His hair is coming out in the top of his head im worried because hes a young man only 23. What should I be doing or can it be helped?
This is wonderful. I really enjoy your videos. I think u mentioned going to cosmetology school to improve your knowledge base? I had the same idea when i get time but thanks for sharing the wealth regardless.
Hey ***** I noticed that you put amodimethicone in the non water soluble section. I researched on that a while ago before using a product that contained it, and here is what i found: "Amodimethicone is only used as a mixture with Tallowtrimonium chloride and Nonoxynol-10. This makes it an emulsion, so it can be used in a water-based products (Amodimethicone by itself is not water soluble). This is one of the lighter silicones because it's a mixture, and studies have found that it tends not to build up in the hair with repeated use" [Encyclopedia of conditioning rinse ingredients by Anthony L.L Hunting pg 110 ]. It sounded (to me) like "amodimethicone" listed in shampoo and rinse out conditioner is actually water soluble, was i wrong?
I would like to assume that it is infact non-water soluble. Just being that it sounds like it's one of those ingredients that can go either way... it's better to tread on the side of caution and consider it non-water soluble. Either way it's rare that you find products with the water soluble silicones.
Yes. The aloe vera juice is an excellent natural humectant that retains water. It evaporates more slowly than water by itself so it helps to retain moisture in your hair, skin, and scalp. It is also considered a reconstructor because it nutrients and vitamins that nourish the hair as well as amino acids that can help promote strength, elasticity, and luster to hair.
If your hair is naturally prone to dryness. I would try to avoid them. You don't need to avoid them completely but you don't want to make it any harder to moisturize.
Hey Afrikan Hair God I love your videos. I have a question about my hair. I just left Marietta Ga, and now I'm in Germany and my hair has started breaking and shedding really bad. I have a relax hair and i have never had a problem with my hair until i got here. Is there anything that u recommend that I can do stop my hair from breaking. People that lives here thinks its the water because they are having the same issue. I'm going to be here for the next 3years, so please help me. lol:-)
It definitely sounds like hard water problems. Look into investing in a filtered showerhead for your shower. You may also want to consider doing a acv rinse regularly and using a "Chelating Shampoo" which is designed to remove the mineral deposits from your hard water. The mineral deposits is what is drying out your hair really badly. Chelating shampoos can be really harsh so make sure to follow up with an intense deep moisture treatment every time.

What you think about a fro hawk for women hair?
What is it that you want to know
Is aloe vera juice considered a humectant?

Look at you sounding all smart and stuff lol...I love when you do these videos! Very informative:)
Justcool Ncurly Thank you lol
There is so much hype with silicones, I don't know if I should use them or not. What do you think. I have dry hair
If your hair is naturally prone to dryness. I would try to avoid them. You don't need to avoid them completely but you don't want to make it any harder to moisturize.
Thanks
