Very informative! Suggesting jojoba oil for newly naturals is perfect . It was and still is one of oils that works really well for me, along with argan oil. LOVE the music in this video!!!
I enjoyed listening to you explain regimens. There is so much information out there that I feel it's become information overload!!!! Your advice is so sound and reasonable. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey I Don't know if you Hear this Enough, THANK YOU BROTHER For Putting Out GREAT Information. I Watched Your Video on The L.O.C Method and sealing Natural Hair especially when doing a Curl or Wave Defining Set. I Have Benefited from that Video Over The Last Year. Keep em Coming Because People In BOTH OUR Communities Need This Information So we all will Be able to Love Ourselves Without becoming a Lover of Self, Thus we Will be Able To Love One Another.
When you give a video, you are so informative. It is good to hear from someone lk you You cannot never get enough knowledge especially from you. Oh by the way, my daughter is bugging me about when is your next skating video. I told her you were a busy person. Looking forward to your next informative video
Ima have to come back and take notes, ive had the same length of hair for years (little past my shoulders), i have been natural most of my life, but i been perm/chemical free for 7 years. I have never had a regime. I just do what i feel whats needed. I just had my first hair dye last sept (ombre), and will be cutting off the dyed ends, and i want to get into a real schedule. This is hella helpful! Thank you.
I'm still transitioning from texturizer. My regimen is once a week with a leave in deep conditioner over night (no particular brand, just what my hair likes), wash the following with ACV and sulfate free shampoo, then condition and detangle my wide tooth comb (this is the only time for the whole week that a comb touches my hair). I spray some Aloe juice mixed with water on my hair and rinse with cold water. I then style with coconut oil and a leave in conditioner (Cantu for now but I use whatever my hair likes at the moment) I seal the ends and rub some Argan on my edges and nape. During the week I spray a little water on my hair and rub in a little more Argan oil when I think my hair needs it. I do a mid-week tune up with spray of water and re-apply some more leave in conditioner to last to my next wash day. Most of the time I just try to leave my hair alone. Also, my wash day including my deep conditioning routine from the night before last all together maybe 2 hours. Ain't nobody got time for a hair routine that lasts 3/4 hours, all day, etc.....
Thanks right when I needed it the most I lightly pressed my hair out n gave it a good trim now all my hair needs is good consistency and for me to stop suffering from hand in hair syndrome and this video really help
Love this! I am definitely the type of person that is searching for the best regiment and not listening to what my hair is telling me and making adjustments. Then I wonder why my hair never looks like other TH-camrs. I need to stay in my lane and see how my hair responds
I just want to say thank you for your videos, you have helped so much in my N.H.J ,one of the things you did was help me save money , I love your video and I appreciate you.
Thank you for this video. I'm 2 years natural and have a hair regimen in place but I like to watch these types of videos for more information. I really appreciate you taking the time out to post this information it was really helpful.
This was perfect thanks again. I luckily had jojoba oil already using Jamaican black castor oil for hair loss treatment for the time being as well that I incorporated into a mix with the two oils. Using a coconut milk natural shampoo but I currently don't have a conditioner so I'll be going to get one shortly. Appreciate the information.
Wished I knew about you 18 months ago. HAD to big chop because of significant damage (multiple causes of the damage,). Thank you for the detailed information: plain, simple and to the point. 👏👏
This is stupid but what is the difference between a leave in vs a moisturizer? I assumed that as they are both water based usually that they can be used inter changibly? I don't like piling products on my hair so I use one or the other randomly with oil.
Thank you so much, I just decided to go natural and I wanted everything that I've learned in the videos about going natural. Now I know I don't have to have everything all at once.
YOU'RE AMAZING!! I just recently found your channel and cant stop watching... really went all the way back to video #1 LOL you're so informative. Between you and NappyFu
im CLEARLY late I was sharing with everybody and their mama and one friend was like "he's an OG in the natural hair game" well damn great friend, poor communication! lol
I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much for posting this. Like always, you are very informative and knowledgeable on hair. I see that there are some negative comments on the water only wash method video. There are just some people who do not want to use logic. You know what they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink it. Keep making this videos!! Knowledge is power!
I find shea butter to be very beneficial for the hair just as long you don't go to heavy with the shea butter. I would like to no what you think. And I love your videos.
Thanks so much for the information. Have you done a video specifically for transitioners. My last relaxer was in April of this year and I see a lot of new growth but I'm not sure how to care for the different textures. The regimen I have built is pretty much for all natural hair. Just want to be sure if this is the correct method. Thanks in advance.
do you think this would help a pre-teen with wanting to do her hair? I really struggle to do it. her hair cuts your fingers. after it's done she'll put on her silk scarf but her styles only last maybe 3 days. we've been trying for years to get her to start taking care of her hair but she hates it.
Wow ! have a lot to say, I watch your video's all the time, Thank you, I totally agree about a hair regimen ! I KNOW MY HAIR,, I watch my hair like its a CHILD , It talks to me, lol so, I never really had a regimen . I just started the water only method 3 days ago, had to modify this one bc my hair loves loves oil on the shalf (Light oil) The water is GREAT, but I decided to just do this rinse once 1 a week, sealing ends, etc bc rinsing my curly, fine hair everyday would be like putn a gun to my head- wetn my hair everyday lol "Damage control" WHAT!! it will dry out, matte, tangle Im DEAD! like REALLY, I do love scalp massages anyways but wasn't doing everyday so, this method is enforcing and encouraging me to have a slight routine for now... . stop shampoos 3-4 years ago, deep condition as I see fit, Low Manipulation, No weave, wigs and Little to Few protective styles. Its true an I agree, things change, texture, hormones, habits good/ bad etc so Im trying for 30 days- besides I do this at night- its therapy for me n helps me to sleep better That's it, btw- You sound like me! meaning you have to get to KNOW YOUR HAIR, examine etc. #Love your knowledge n Video's # NiceHair # keepVideo's coming IM WATCHING !
Mrs Willis trimming with clippers isn't as practical as using shears. They both can get the job done but why hassle with cords and bulky clippers that you may drop and break from mishandling.
I have found that it is better to purchase travel size vs regular sizes when trying out hair products.
Great point!
This should have millions of views....
I'm sorry I have to shampoo once a week! I will not be doing this water only mess! And remember I said "I" Good vid!
Very informative! Suggesting jojoba oil for newly naturals is perfect . It was and still is one of oils that works really well for me, along with argan oil. LOVE the music in this video!!!
Binge watching your videos for a refresher course
You work with your hair and not against it! 💆🏽♀️
I enjoyed listening to you explain regimens. There is so much information out there that I feel it's become information overload!!!! Your advice is so sound and reasonable. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved this video, especially the part about learning and understanding what your hair needs. Great video!

Love your videos! Did u make a video about the maximum hydration method? If not, what are your and Henny's thoughts on this?
This is stupid but what is the difference between a leave in vs a moisturizer? I assumed that as they are both water based usually that they can be used inter changibly? I don't like piling products on my hair so I use one or the other randomly with oil.

with trimming do you have a preference between clippers vs. scissors?
Mrs Willis trimming with clippers isn't as practical as using shears. They both can get the job done but why hassle with cords and bulky clippers that you may drop and break from mishandling.
how do you know if you produce too much sebum
Your skin and scalp will get oily very quickly after cleansing.
