Love the phone based options except.... 1. It's not fixed, so with my 3 drivers.... never discussed, will they connect to all 3 and if so would the options picked individually affect other drivers. 2. And perhaps more importantly... never discussed, what happens during phone calls, etc. to the screen, functionality and such? Obviously, I've been watching your vids for awhile, so you've really educated me!!!
Does the new software update on HW4 and using the right scroll wheel left and right motion to change the speed option like chill, standard and hurry affect the use of the scroll wheel with these displays? Thanks. I just ordered the T9 for my M3P using your discount code. Keep up the good work.
Awesome video review! On the fixed units can you confirm that there are no audio sync issues when connecting to tesla bluetooth? Most fixed units i had had in the past seemed to had a noticeable audio delay sync issue.
There is still a slight delay but not too bad. I can make normal conversation over phone calls. However, I would recommend routing your audio directly to Tesla and just using visuals (e.g Carplay) on this display. Thanks!
Thanks for the great video. You don't mention the model x leather wrapped display any more. I really like the looks of that one and think it supposed to have vents. Is that one still a good option?
Thank you so much! I really wanted to like that display (F9-C) and it does have vents but two things: 1. The leather looks add-on on the normal version, making it look cheap. Highland one looks better and even has ambient light. 2. After seeing the F88/T9, the UI on the F9-C feels very clunky and rushed.
@ShivaSapkota hello i saw your video of that one for the model 3 highland and the ambient light and it looks great. I really want that one but in the video it seems laggy and like the said the UI seems very rushed, what do you think I really like it because it looks oem wish is what I want but I don't want it to be trash or laggy. I saw they offer over the air updates but what do you think? I've seen people that say they've had it for a while now and no over the air updates.
At the moment none for me makes sense .. expect the mountain pass performance one who shows different data as the main screen, battery motors temperature, voltages, battery degradation fluid temps etc.. I work buy a screen just to repeat all the information’s available on the main screen 🤷🏼♂️
I think it is the placement of that information. Folks are wanting the info to be displayed directly in the front instead of the side main screen. Those fixed mount screens also come with Carplay, Android Auto, and front camera, which may not be for everyone but some people definitely like those features. Thank you so much for your feedback, much appreciated.
@@ShivaSapkota i personalay dont ned that don see any advantage at looking down behind the steering wheel or on the right side , some cars i cant use them without apple car play, but dont feel that on teslas or cars with google automotive software.
Honestly, the best option is would just be for Tesla to swallow their pride about “minimalism” and just include a fucking instrument cluster from the factory, and a useful one, like the old model S
Couldn't agree more!! Not including a cluster (could be optional add on from Tesla) and removing the gear/turn signal stalks from the new cars were not good for Tesla owners. Thank you.

@ Thank you! It essentially does both, so can get annoying where you are controlling this screen and it also controls the following distance etc. however, once you toggle the Autopilot, these screens just become touch screen and don't work with the scroll wheels to not affect any of the autopilot funtions.
@@ShivaSapkota honestly though, I liked the old model s with the leather interior and vertical screen It feels classy, and it justified the price Imo, the new ones are too cheap in quality to be sold for more

Great video! Love how direct and honest you are. Keep up the great work!
@@spencerthompson5336 Thank you so much!! I appreciate it.
This really gives the important options that are somewhat difficult to glean watching the separate videos. Also great timing for Christmas. Thanks!
Glad you found it helpful! Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
I concur!
This is perfect timing. In the market to purchase a dashboard.

Does any of the instrument clusters mirror tesla maps from the main display?

Best UI option TESLASY said they are making a new base which will make a new base mount which will add a air vent when I asked them

If it’s Hansshow- beware there are no recent over the air updates. The blind spot warning it trash and stays on once triggered.

Can you install both one of these displays and a SEXY knob?
Yes, you can daisy chain everything. Thanks.
still no blind spot camera displaying when indercating and turning
Hopefully T9 will have some sort of way to make a more secure fit.
Yes, I hope so. That is a really nice display but they need a bit more work on the implementation side. Thanks.
