I think this is an amazing product. The design is great as is the support enhance is giving it will all of the updates. I’d say that Tesla should partner with enhance to make this a standard option for the car, but it might be better this way since enhance is doing such a good job of improving it and there are so many fun ways of customizing it. Some can have their minimalism while others can have one knob to rule it all.

Where did you place the commander? The enhance video seems to put it near the floor but i don't know if you have any tips to avoid the commander causing rattling. Or is you used any zip ties/Velcro? Thank you

The new one with the dividers is only applicable for the new 2024 Model 3 Highland unfortunately. So, if you have an older car, you still get the older unit sorry.

Great questions. This Knob is only avaialbe for the Model 3 Highalnd since it has a totally different center console. Shiva's code is available for the standard Knob as well. The installation will be the same for your model (it is shown on our website and youtube channel. The features are the same on both Knobs, unless the car does not have the options for them - like the ventilated seats or the LED strip control.

Shiva, everything works perfectly except the Trunking Presenting. After setting all the appropriate settings, nothing happens when I approach the car using either the Door or Always method. When looking at the app when I'm away from the car, it is showing the Commander as disconnected. I have the car set to sentry mode at home and away to keep it awake. The Commander only reconnects when I sit in the car. Any suggestions?
Both Knobs have the same features but they have different chassis since both center conslos are different. The Model 3/Y 2021 Knob is brand new and will not change. After all we have released it 6 months ago. :)
So I got this with v2 commander for my 21M3 works great excep I can’t find anywhere to get the knob out of Celsius the car is i F and changes with the knob but the knob can’t be changed out of C.. any thoughts? Latest update as well

It appers that the V2 is only available for Highland due to the width. The V1 (with same features and similar design) is available for all the other M3s and MYs. shiva After checking on the website with enhanced, they recommend installing it in the front by the passenger door up there instead, it seems that you can get more features by doing that do you know anything about that?
Using the knob, can you go directly from D gear to R gear (and vice versa) while the car is moving, and without touching the brakes? (as can be done from the Tesla screen)
@@tonyvaleriev9799so you turn the knob twice to go directly from D to R without stopping the car (or vice versa)? Because the P is stuck in between...
@@nm-yi4yf Yes. P is always in the middle, so you go from D to R by turning it 2 times. But you can do it fast and the car won't go into P since there is a 50 milisecond delay and the car will go straight into R. Now, if you do the turns slow- one by one, it will first go into P then into R.
Im not able to switch directly from D to R without pressing break. Don't forget if it exceeds the longest 10 sec delay, you have to depress the button to get into gear menus.
Hey shiva, I have a question. All the features and functions that are available in this V2 version. All those are available through software upgrade in the previous version because I have model y and I want to decide whether I should get it now or wait for some time.

Please make sure you are following the proper steps when using the new automation. It works with both Android and iPhone. You need to have your car locked but awake. We have a tutorial video on our TH-cam channel

I respectfully disagree. This is about possibilities. You do like the car as it is? Great, keep yours that way. What’s wrong with having the opportunity to upgrade or just customize the car following your likes? Some of them might be useful, some are just aesthetic … so? I have the first knob since it was released. Is it useful? There are some functions that I use on daily basis. Some others I will never use them. The app and the software are great, and from my point of view it looks great in the car! But the best: it’s just a choice! We have them whereas other car owners have very few of them.

Auto trunk is in Highland . model Y does not have that sensor , so it will not work.
