So many of these suffer from “floaty hand syndrome” because Bethesda wouldn’t allow the modders to add their own dang animations to the guns. Hilarious.
And guess what, modders still found a way. Wasted Bethesda effort as usual.
not allow X
no support O
but somehow it's possible to feel they restrict it because of what format of animation
floaty hand? what floaty hand?
@@ZackExplorer28 “Floaty hand” is a term to describe when the holding animations don’t line up and look like the weapon model is floating above the hand. Look at the Gauss Rifle or the Lightning Gun.
I'm guessing that's because of consoles? they're paying them regardless otherwise it doesn't make sense.
Remember folks, this all began in 2006 with armor for horses XD
Actually it goes farther back than that. 4 different versions of Street Fighter 2 each one sold at full prices.
Pointless DLC existed long before that with things like blood packs and swear packs
@@michaelkeha total war: warhammer sold a DLC to add blood.
so a game set in the warhammer fantasy universe, famously known for how violent it is... didn't have any blood.

Bro they didn't bother to animate the bolt in the sniper rifles
they did animate them, this guy is prob in god mode where animations don't play properly
It's an animation error. The bolt actually is normally animated.
salute all the creation modders who had to make a 3D model worth their salt to match the outdated hand animation.
I'm sorry but the "anti material rifle" is a joke compared to the new Vegas one. Shoots wet noodles. Had have to buff it with mods.
Actually it's kinda good with a legendary perk bloodied or two shot (if you play vats lucky can be usefull too) but it's nothing compared to a modded amr or even new vegas one
I’m hip, everybody was gassed up about it back when it came to CC but it’s garbage and will be garbage, it really takes 7 shots to kill a super mutant lmao
Just because a gun isn't overpowered doesn't mean it's bad lol
@@jackdeviluke3969That gun in NV was overpowered and expensive for a reason. Getting a crit with it should kill most enemies in one or 2 shots, not 3+ even with Rifleman maxed. 50 cal in FO4 is a joke
@@jackdeviluke3969 it’s not that it’s not overpowered, it’s underpowered for the caliber. But bullets being realistic in a video game is a whole can of worms we don’t have to get in to
Tesla Cannon should've been in the base game
There is technically a Tesla Rifle in the Automatron DLC but its not really the same.
It will be with today's update. Along with several other things. We just have to hope that the update doesn't kill a mod permanently...
I love how modders make stuff that is infinitely better than this but for free
These are also from, typically, the same modder. There just a weird restriction on CC due to desire of compatibility on Consoles. And most of the time the model/texture is more fitting for the game than being ripped out of another game.
Also, unpopular opinion, but kinda like the creation club stuff, most of it feels like it actually belongs in the game, and that Bethesda cosigns is kinda the cherry on top. I LOVE the unpaid stuff, but maybe I like CC because of the officialness, idk
@@the_dawn4564 i can admit there is some pretty cool stuff that comes out of creation club,(og 10mm pistol)I just hate how you have to pay for it
@@the_dawn4564Do not let this man see the weapon designs of FNV, F3, or god forbid, F1 and F2
@vargrhelsing8042 you cannot "rip" models out of another game and upload them to Nexus because this will get you banned immediately lol
Modders there usually remodel the real life counterparts from scratch - not arguing for their quality.
The best F4 weapon mods are on private discords, using ripped assets from Tarkov and others, thanks to the Korean community being absolutely fire ❤
Anti-materiel rifle💀💀💀
the show gaslit me into thinking that the creation club classic 10mm had a revolving cylinder, I can't believe it 😔
I think the “Classic 10mm” is based on the one from the older isometric games which does a have a revolver cylinder
Classic 10mm is definitely based on 1 and 2, weird that tunnel snakes from 3 are involved with the quest whatsoever.
@@NorthstarSystem guys I'm talking about the animation
in the show's version, there is a revolving cylinder that functions anytime the gun is shown firing on screen, it isn't functional in the Creation Club weapon, it's just decoration that doesn't do anything but look cool
@@NorthstarSystem And for 1 and 2's pistol, it was lifted from a comic book where it did have that weird revolver cylinder. The comics name btw is Hard Boiled.
If you're on PC check out the colt 6520 mod, it's the same gun but actually a revolver
After 200hrs in F4 i still cant stand these wacky gun animations
Yea they are really lame. Always try to find animation replacement mods
Right, id have preferred the early 2000s stiff arm jank that 3 and new vegas had, over these. At least they made sense.
Bethesda be like "pay us money for the worst mods imaginable, forget all those free and actually high quality ones!"
they are good mods, they just use the vanilla animations for whatever reason. also not sure why the gauss uses a crank but moreorless still good.
Still somewhat better than modern military guns that don't fit fallout
@@jackdeviluke3969 not at all. Fallout used to have modern guns. Bethesda are the ones who decided to throw it away and double down on the retrofuture stuff.
@@trashcompactorYT sure buddy those guns aren't the tacky things modern military famboys are obsewith these days they were guns that were odd and considered futuristic at the time plus there were still odd retro futuristic guns in 1 n 2

Is it me, or is the classic pistol's hammer not moving? It looks like it's completely stationary and not even hitting the firing pin (I'm assuming that's what that bump is) and that's weird.
the base game 10mm didn't have an animated hammer either
@@ItzLoki2077 Oh wow, I missed that when I played 4. I guess Beth really doesn't know how guns work then.
@BlackSabbath628 you literally just said you didn't notice until now.
That's the main reason any dev cuts corners like that. If the average player isn't going to be able to tell the difference, then why bother wasting time and resources on it?
@@NamelocTheBard Attention to detail. Especially when its meant to be a functioning firearm. When you do notice its pretty bad.
I don't think I even used the 10mm pistol that much either. I'm pretty sure I ditched it in favor of a laser pistol pretty early.
don’t forget the cylinder in the middle for no reason
Now lets see the mod versions
Cast your votes ladies and gentlemen. BETHESDA or Mod community. Who wins first?

That Ultimatum is my personal favorite of the Creation Club weapons. Kinda of like a throwback to New Vegas’s unique weapons in which they differentiate from the ordinary tier weapons by which they have customized looks to them.
Yeah, the radical, amazing concept of unique weapons looking... Unique.
Shame bethesda forgot how to do that.
7:02 When is Bethesda gonna hire someone who knows anything about basic firearm operation? It’s a bolt action. Why is it semi-automatic? They animated the bolt in the reload.
Gotta love that semi-automatic bolt-action…
Thanks for buying these so I never have to
Imma stick to modding in guns the animations look half assed and some are reused assets. Pain 😭
Yeah, I have animation replacers that fixed nearly all these guns and all the vanilla guns. Sadly the CR-74, Manwell firearm set, vanilla combat shotgun and rifle all use the reanimation I picked since they all draw from the same animation pool, but it looks nicer.
Man, that bolt action, semi automatic, case ejecting anti-material rifle is insane
Reskin City
My biggest pet peeve about the fallout 4 weapons, well besides all of them, is the animation that the SS racks the slide every time you draw a semi-auto handgun. Like, did nobody on the development team handle a firearm before? The SS would literally be wasting a round every time!
Ikr. Some players even defend it because they like the satisfaction of the animations. Make the animation more akin to a press check instead. That would be 100x more immersive and satisfying then fully racking the slide each time.
spinning the cylinder on the 44 mag. drives me nuts
TIL The goddamn BFG and Thunderbolt from Doom and Quake respectively are in the game.
I have them.
And they hit like a truck. The Thunderbolt is basically the Tesla Rifle from Automatron but faster, and the BFG Deals so much direct impact damage that it chunks an Enraged Fog Crawler, while the blast itself actually deals DoT over such a wide area you can wipe entire armies off the field. The BFG is also (partially) compatible with Gorgeous Glowing Plasma Weapons, and the mixture of other colors with the custom green fx gives for some striking visuals (I'm partial to the purple version myself, since no other energy weapon has a purple scheme, but we have red, blue, yellow, & light blue, but the deep green of the plasma weapons feels... Wrong, somehow).
5:20 - Two things that I don't like about the Manwell Carbine & Rifle:
1. The guns float in the left hand, which is very visible at 5:21 and onward; would it have killed Bethesda to not re-use the combat rifle model (and animations?)
2. Both guns sounds very weak for the caliber they shoot, which is .308 - keep in mind, that's a large cartridge in of itself. If I could let Bethesda get away with one thing, it's that they could've re-used the hunting rifle sounds for both guns.
Otherwise, I like the carbine because it comes with a dope bayonet mod that makes it perfect for a Minutemen-centric character. The rifle is okay in terms of style, but its animations and models don't fit it at all.
For what its worth, thanks for showing all these off with video footage, instead of the photos in Creation Club that dont really do a good job of showing how these things look when using them.
Makes it easier for me to decide if any of them are worth it or if i should just...you know...download a free mod version instead lol
Seriously though, thanks for showing them all off in one vid.
how many guns can you make recycling the same sounds and animations?
yes
That classic 10mm enrages me to no end
Yooo!! I been watching you since your manhunt vids! ♥️
Love the Manwell guns, especially the carbine
Be careful downloading the “Classic 10mm, Tunnel Snakes Rule Creation” it is broken and it hard locks your game at start and you will not be able to progress past returning to Sanctuary, forcing you to delete and reinstall the entire game. Crazy how they will charge for something they clearly did not test.
Kind of a shame that handmade shotgun, never made it into the "makeshift weapons" portion of the recent next-gen update for the game.
What... What did they do to the Anti-Materiel Rifle... I am horrified
They put it in the game? They didn't do anything to it.
@@Maverick9k It looks horrible! It's a misshapen mess of metal! Worst of all, it doesn't even bolt in its firing animations, like a bolt-action does!
@secritiveHalo that's how the rifle has always looked and the bolt action animations do work, God mode can glitch out weapon animations.
I use this AMR all the time on Xbox, no problems on my end.
@@secritiveHaloit has attachments that make it look like the F:NV version iirc, the animations didnt play due to the guy being in godmode
@@Maverick9k NO. The AMR was a centerpiece for the NV games and all you can say was that "It's fine" BULL. SH*T. if I wanted a good recreation of the weapon the modding community would've put one out that was better more effective and CORRECTLY shaped to the point where it'd be usable. So don't spew that crap about it's fine. It's not. It's sick, it's twisted and I want it GONE.
I just wish someone would sit Todd Howard down and make him watch this video, because it really says everything about modern Bethesda
The sad thing is, we’re all dreaming ES6 is going to be as generation defining as Skyrim, but deep down we’re beginning to accept whatever magic they had is long gone, only greed and laziness remains
The creation club was in my opinion only for PlayStation since Sony didn’t want external assets with the mods
Of fcking course its left handed
I'm glad the show recanonized (or at least confirmed it's not retconned by the new one) the classic 10mm
Is that prototype gauss rifle as strong as the standard but with the addition of the laser musket crank or am i being too hopeful?
Its a little more powerful than the laser musket at full 6 cranks, i believe. I cant remember. The BFG however is pretty damn powerful, which makes sense especially given how you obtain it.
Worse than the Gauss rifle, probably worse than a laser musket with any decent legendary effect.
@@alonelychocolatebar1954 well then what's the point of getting the "we have a gauss rifle at home"
@@oh_sweet, takes less to reload the prototype version and doesn't have a charged shot.
2:32 LMAO not only is the hammer tilted to the right but they forgot to model the firing pin.
The reload animations of the handmade shotgun are messy, how can you fill it like that? The three-barrel version is even goofier. Something like that on the creation club deserves a whole set of animations : when you have one or more bullets left, or none, for example.
Shouldn’t the casings be coming out of the side of the bolt action which itself is in the wrong place?
I really don't mind these being CC items. Most I can get from mods but it's better to have more options than less.
That new 10mm is worse then the original, is fucking huge
Who knew independent coders were better developers than a Triple A game studio
bro no way some of these new weapons still use that fugly ass tommy gun animation from release wth atleast its free
Anyone else notice the hammers on the pistols never move
It's so weird that all Bethesda Revolvers have the firing pin removed from the hammer. None of these things would fire in real life.
The Anti-Material Rifle being semi-auto makes my brain hurt.
Bro holding that thunderbolt like an action figure lmao 12:41
Dude the hand floating on the Thunderbolt at 12:28 is soooo bad 💀
I love that the anti material rifle quest just doesn’t work for me! Money well spent.
The lack of weapons knowledge in this actually hurts lol.
could you make a video on the new weapons added in the next-gen update? (such as the piggy bank fat man)
maybe
@@ItzLoki2077yeah do it on Xbox so that you can see no textures and red “!” points shoot everywhere with invisible guns lol 😆
I'm just curious why they didn't update the animations. I get that they want everything to be cohesive between vanilla and CC, and that all these guns mimic the animation pool of vanilla. But each of these also have vanilla esque reanimation patches made by respectable modders, to fit the vanilla feel without the weird fucking jank. Why not just use them?
i like how they made the classic 10mms cylinder rotate in the TV show but apparently it doesn’t work like that i’m game….
In Fallout 1 it was supposed to be a revolver, but due to a miscommunication it instead says it's mag fed in the description. This stuck all the way until the TV show.
Why wouldn i use the creation club when i can go to the mod menu and get something that actually works
Glad that I pirated some of these weapon mods and used mod patches from the Nexus to give them proper animations (Right-handed ofc)
Shame because some of these models are gorgeous
My eyes are bleeding! On NEXUS, the quality of mods is 510! better than the Creation Club although the Tesla cannon is made well, but..... There is no recharge animation it is sad but the most disgusting thing is the Anti-Materiel Rifle(Creation Club)
engravings... give you no tactical advantage whatsoever
Why does the hammer not work, but the gun still fires?
they didn't animate the hammer
@@ItzLoki2077 that's kinda silly.
@@ItzLoki2077, no bud, the hammer is animated. Must likely you're playing on God Mode that most of the time skips animations.
These definitely needs to have tactical reload on them
Man, to think the modders did a better job at this and free is... Pretty normal for bethesda
What does a classic pistol mean is not a Revolver???
Its a mag fed revolver, has been since the start
it's how it's been since Fallout 1
having the classic gauss rifle and amr behind a paywall sucks. i'd say the same for the classic 10mm but the modded 6520 by scail is better and comes in revolver and a conventional pistol in the form of the colt n80.
Some of these would be so good if it weren’t for the copy-and-paste animations. Absolutely horrendous lol
0:50 t The cylinder for what?
That prototype gauss was such a letdown
All I wanted was the service rifle from new Vegas
all you're getting is ugly guns with left handed charging handles since apparently everyone in pre war new england was left handed
Wierd that the double-action revolver is fired exlusivly in single action in this game
The thing that pisses me off to no end
THE RADIATION SYMBOL ON THE ULTIMATUM ISN’T CENTRED!

How do you even get ammo for these in game, i haven't been able to craft any of it. They feel useless.
i just used console commands
@@ItzLoki2077damn on on ps5, no commands there. Thnx tho.
When I found out that the game devs made the anti material rifle left handed I wanted to bitch slap whoever thought that would be ok. Like sure it’s ok if that’s done like that to be a nerf to the overall weapon when you first get it, but we should be allowed to switch to a right handed bolt.
The thunderbolt looks so bad lol
classic 10 mil design fills me with so much rage... why is a non-revolving revolver cylinder there? just for looks? even so it looks like ai tried to design it

I hate that you can only use the .44 magnum as a single action in this game.
I saw comments about the snipers, but goddamn i didnt expect it to be that bad. The AMR's bolt isnt even being cycled.
At this point i'm not even sure if an Elder Scrolls 6 or another Fallout game would be a good idea
It has working bolt animations. But when you’re in god mode, sometimes it disables bolt animations.
How can that Third barrel work...
Won't lie, the concept for some of these is pretty decent. Like the lore implications of the BFG, the Solar Cannon using fusion cells to fire miniaturized suns, and the Tesla Cannon (somehow) making its way to the Commonwealth from Big MT, but to pay money for some of these while feeling largely unfinished is wild to me... And we let Bethesda get away with it, starting with Oblivion...
We literally cyber bullied a studio to rework an entire movie because the main character looked horrendous, review-bombed Sony so hard they reversed a decision, and (almost) pipe-bombed a subsidiary of Bethesda when they fired Mick Gordon for the dumbest reason (his music went "Too Hard," no joke), only for him to come back in Atomic Heart and go EVEN HARDER.
And we can't bully Bethesda out of these utterly asinine practices?
Why did Bethesda get so terrible at gun design?
Cause people buy their games anyway.
these are made by modders lol. although the vanilla guns are mostly ass too
@@t.t6294 I’m aware of that, but ideally we wouldn’t have to rely on modders if Bethesda didn’t design mediocre guns for Fallout 4.
@@victorpleitez768 I agree. I usually play with modded guns. Love some well animated lever action guns
Because Bethesda only know how to make fantasy weapons to the elder of scrolls
I'm still pretty damn sure the main reason the Creation Club exists (aside from "give us money") is because of the 50-mile stick up Sony's ass in regards to mods.
Sure, Xbox and PC can have things that are of better quality than the CC for free, but not PlayStation because god fucking forbid people have fun in a single player game in a way they don't approve of.
ohm nice you pay for this stuff? I love the "Bolt action" is only racking the bolt when it reload a new mag. The classic 10mm colt is a revolver, they even have the cylinder modeled by it's only for looks it seems, as the gun models a slide top of a semi auto.
Hate how stupidly oversized the Gen4 10mm handgun and the classic 10mm handgun is,its like congrats u made a pistol weigh over 10 pounds with unnecessary amount of steel added.
Honestly it's all cool stuff, but not as good as the Skyrim ones.
Now i don't know the damage of these, but the bfg 9000 seems worth it
its crazy how modded weapon do better in many aspect than most of this shiet
The only truly unique weapon is the ultimatum.
you what sucks is that all these weapons are locked in a pay wall causing you to pay 50 bucks on a 20 dollar game (40 if you buy the goty version)
we could use some stats along with demonstration.. such a vague review
it's a showcase, not a review. Grey Gaming did a pretty decent video on Creation Club mods if you want to watch that.
Honestly the creation club is overpriced half the quest in the creation club are not even good fetch and retrieve quests are not good and I don’t like not so lore friendly aspect too like the Doom armor, the BFG, quake gun, and the Morgue spacesuit.
EWW WHY IS THE BFG THAT FUCKING BIG AT LEAST DOOMGUY HOLDS IT LOWER
Never onced touched Creation Club stuff. Looking at this, glad I never did. If I wanted weapons Id just go to Nexus and they have better unique reloading animations along with the Tactical Reload mod. And its free(Not that I mind giving them money if I really like the mod).
