Alfa models are some of the absolute best looking/flying small scale models out there, and have been for a long time! Are they for everybody? Don't think so, but they are fantastic when you handle/fly them correctly!
@@scotabot7826 yes the look is awesome just don't like how fragile they are. Thanks 4 watching and the comments
I was surprised you flew it with the crack where the hold down screw goes through. Right then I knew it would not end well. A lot of that "twitchiness" you discribed was the wing moving, or more correctly, the fuselage moving when any elevator was applied. At one point that screw got a high enough g force put on it, and it doesn't take much, that it just pulled right through. My guess is that the screw was still attached to the wing when you picked up the pieces. And ya, those Alfa's are really nice planes.
@@spring4522 Exactly, it was reinforced with a strip of basswood from the underside but not enough lol well it ripped out the wood from the flat spot where it was epoxyed
It did look great, nice flying until you hit the designate switch 😊😅. Jeff in LA USA
@@JeffinLowerAlabama yes the pilot decided to do a roll and that was it lol
The reason that kept wobbling on the turns was because it was on the verge of stalling due to being flown too slow. Nothing to do with prop size.
@@Sorarse yes the person I had flying it didn't figure that out after the first time and kept attempting to make a hard bank instead of slowly rolling into it like I would do anyway I can't film and fly at the same time thanks 4 watching and comment
@@Pooley929 Yeah, great video, especially if people can learn from it.
@@Sorarse I really hope someone who may have one can get some input from my video when they set it up it's a model that does not have many videos out there
100%
@@GrogHambone previous comment was that there was nothing wrong with the prop size and it was stalling due to turn me into slow which I agree upon which is why I stated the prop size was wrong The bird was at full throttle most of this time with a 7x5 prop most people fly in it that I have talked to are at like a 8x6 which we just wanted to get the review done so I understand you guys are critical but we didn't have a prop at the field at the time to properly power it at any rate the pilot who I gave the plane to after did his repairs and flies the plane fine now with the correct size prop fine threw the turns I can post a video of that if you all would like to see his turns now with the correct prop just let me know Thanks for stopping by thanks for watching thanks for comments
The e flite bnf p47 is insane, and tough 30mph into corn and nothing but a scratch, no dents! 88 top speed 17 stall
@@thereal-stl_slim cool thanks 4 the watch and comment
Had a wing come off once.. I used the wrong glue to put the wind together. And I was pulling too many G 's. Wing came down soft as a feather.... fuselage came down like a meteor and exploded on impact. I'll never use CA instead of epoxy again.
@johnb9825 it looked cool and the Fuse wasn't too bad the new owner put it back together if I had it to do over again, I would definitely double epoxy. A couple of braces on the sides of the wing support, because it screws in with one screw on that bird.
The one part of the video we all came for, camera man failed us all 😂
@TheValleyFlyersRC yea I know sorry 4 that but we got some of it lol cameraman was more startled than anything.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@OppoReno8pro-ce6sf thanks for watching
Why did you delete my comment
You where flying a broken plane
You over tightened the plastic nut, and broke the mounting plate in the fuselage. What do you think would happen, I own several Alfamodels and they're still available.
@@rafaeltorres2886 not sure what's going on but I never delete any comments
Flying WAY TO SLOW
@@bigeclipse718 Yes he was Thanks for stopping by and commenting
Landed with style, not crash. As they say.
