Thank you. Another great video. Most people seem to understand placement of mass in respect to vehicle height and lateral stability BUT the front/rear balance, overhangs at either end (and the potential excessive structural loads) seem to be a bit of a blind spot, especially amongst people who have never driven a truck. I will recommend this video series to anyone who seems confused about the issues you have covered.
P.S. I know a guy who works for the LTSA here in NZ. He inspects vehicles at weigh stations, has taken multiple buses off the road at one time and also investigates vehicle crashes. He recently told us about a situation where he saw a Landcruiser 70 Series coming down the road with a brand new spray rig on the back and told the police officer standing next to him ‘I am going to pull that vehicle over’. The vehicle, as he expected, was over GVM with the empty spray rig on it!

So GVM upgrade on 79 series is waste of time and money. You can carry the extra weight but not in efficient location.

6x4 or 6x6 are available options. So too are unimog zetros man actros tatra volvo scania 4x4 6x4 6x6 8x4 and 8x8. The only limit you have is axle load to maintain our roads. Practical loading.

With such a great vehicle why has Toyota kept its deficiencies such as rear axle close to the cab back and narrow axle track. That goes for all Thai built dual cabs. It's crazy.
