They are nice. We put them in the hot milk, though. They'll float a bit longer that way. Rather than put them in the glass and then pour the milk over.
Since I can't have them shipped, I started making them for my family and friends to enjoy! We love them! And you gave me ideas for new flavours for next time I make them. Thanks a lot! ☺👍
Top tip cut the sheets up into squares and pour the chocolate in up to the top then tip it straight out and put the half circle sitting in muffin tin they set perfect ❤ hope it helps
Hey kinda same, I somehow made a thermonuclear bomb and it keeps saying do do do doo do do, do in the Thomas the tank engine song so I named him Thomas
Both of you have a charming demeanor, so this was really fun to watch. And they look delicious! Think I'll make these for the family when I go home from uni. Thank you!
The best way to colour Chocolate is powdered food colouring ! This way you get the right colour and no issue with chocolate ceasing. Also if you wear gloves it stops fingerprints getting all over the outside.
I absolutely want to make this during our live stream this weekend (with appropriate credit and links to your video of course).. I'm so excited to try making these!
Barry the aim with those moulds is to have two so one side is the bottom of all the spheres and the other side is the tops of all the spheres. That way you can crank out more at the same time. Also you might want to cover the top of your mould lightly with a paper kitchen towel to absorb moisture from your freezer while they set.
Oh my goodness 😍 wow just stumbled across this video, never heard of chocolate bombs and immediately had to watch, ingenious idea 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I’m gonna make some for winter drinks & gifts, looks delicious.
Thanks for the suggestion! I have heart moulds and was thinking that I need to buy some spherical moulds to try this. Although I do like the idea of decorating them to look like Christmas baubles.
@@miaschu8175 ive got the heart shaped and a mitten shape but they are smaller. I wonder if I make them small they could add 2 to a cup instead. Mix and match flavors 😋
Was going to buy some expensive vegan ones of these for Christmas presents but now I think I’ll hand make some following your recipe (tweaking it to be vegan) to save myself some money and make the gift more loving. Thanks Barry!
Oh that's great I was thinking about getting one and if other people like it that's settled it. I have a neurological condition so things like opening jars can be really difficult. Sometimes I feel like a 20 year old grandma lol.
Love the timing of this video. (USA) We are currently on Fall school break. I plan on making these with my 8 year old this week 💞 I've been doing video research and when he saw your video he got even more excited 😂
Aww we had our autumn break last month in the uk but I'm gonna make these with my 5yo little brother for the Christmas holidays he's gonna love it. It's our special thing to cuddle up in pjs with some snacks and watch a film in my bed and these will be perfect to go with a Christmas film.
@red cherry well, that is true. To be fair, I grew up eating almost exclusively Bromalowe’s Chocolate which is a confectionary in NJ. They don’t have that gross acid-puke taste other American chocolates have.
Made a couple of these for my girlfriend, but used matchmakers for orange, and mint with the matching flavour options sachets, on to a winner with these now I've got to make loads more 🤣 keep up the brilliant videos. Cheers
I'm so glad you posted this!!! I just got my forms in the other day and I can't wait to make them. Now maybe I can learn some tips and tricks from watching!!
You can use various size plastic two part ornaments as chocolate molds as well... they can be found in dollar stores here in Canada, so I’d assume you could find it somewhere like poundland in the uk
Chloe should make coffee for her mom though. I think I started making it for my parents when I was too young for it too, it was just for them (and my brother when he got old enough). I joined them later. :)
Hi Barry. I watch your videos on Facebook and I have done a couple of your recipes. Like the home made chocolate. And the giant crunchy. I would love nothing more for you to heart this comment. Hope you and your family are keeping well during hard times.
When you are coloring or flavoring chocolate it is always best to use and oil based or powdered food color or flavoring in chocolate so that it does not seize up on you.
Because of the lockdown this year I couldn't repay the students who gave me presents on valentine's day because the whole country went on lockdown! But these look so amazing I'm going to give it a good go and hopefully repay them in time for Christmas!!
I'll have to give this a go. I use a candy floss flavouring extract for chocolate ganache (which tastes amazing btw) so I might throw some of that in it
OMG I'm here before 50 comments. Btw just wanted to say love the new vids Barry, also love how Mrs B is so much more confident now in front of the camera.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi ya Barry. A quick FYI about coloring white chocolate. You will be successful every time coloring the chocolate by using a coloring powder and not gel. As you know, liquid makes the chocolate seize. Cheers.

Could definitely put some booze like whiskey inside them for an Irish coffee vibe.
Actually that’s not a as bad idea. I think those liquor filled chocolates with like Kailua or something would be stellar
Creme de menthe is a good idea too.
Great minds think alike :)

Yes
Bailey's or hazelnut crème liqueur would be great
You could also melt a Terry's Chocolate Orange for an orange hot cocoa, milk and dark versions :)
@Scottish-Allison ?!
That sounds good!
Tf y’all puttin oranges in your hot chocolate for. Different breed
I've also made hot cocoa with a drop of orange essential oil many times ;)

Your daughter saying "stonking" (hope I'm spelling that right!) Is the cutest thing I've ever seen!

Dark chocolate comes out of the silicone molds better :)

You can turn that mold upside down and sit your 1/2 spheres in the dips of the mold.
This candy looks so good. Great video, I like the way Barry mixed the three different blends to create a nice chocolate ball.
