Definitely up there as one of the very best episodes in the series. So many moments. Bubble's speech. Marlo in jail. Seeing Bunny and Namond in a good spot. Michael killing Snoop has got to be one of the best written scenes. Gus talking with the vet. And of course Mike saying goodbye to Bug and then Duke. Doesn't get better than that
It was great!
You may have forgotten, but the Shardene whom Lester speaks of is the stripper who helped him in season 1.
Love how nothing is forgotten in this show!
And now.... the 4 boys are seperated forever... how sad, man.
Marlo holding court! You should watch that scene again, look at how Monk was slumped over, look how Chris stopped sitting casually and sort of slumped as well. The slow camera movement towards Marlo as he allows emotions to take over this one time, AND listen to how quiet it got.
Tragic... and yes that scene was great didn't give it enough credit!
I’ve been waiting for this one! One of my very favourite episodes , definitely a top 5 for me. So many iconic moments I can’t even name them all! My favourite scenes are the Bubs scene and of course “how my hair look Mike?” “You look good girl…” so well written and a fantastic penultimate episode for the series.
So good!
@@noahzynski I feel like season 5 saved so many of their best moments for the last 3 episodes lol, I mean they are the last of the show but they are sooo good and filled with so much to think about!
Also RIP Snoop, one of my very favs
@@spencergadoury End with a bang!
Snoops last words and action. She reverted back to factory reset- Being a Girl, Being a woman. In her last moment she wasn't a hardened person. She didn't have to be one of the boys. She acted hard until her last moment then was soft. Michael acknowledged by saying you look good girl. Her 1st compliment being seen as a woman and nothing else. Good writing. Snoop was forced to be what she was. She didn't get a chance to be like other girls.
Love this!
Keep reacting to classic movies. The people will find your Wire reactions.
Will do!
Very emotional ending to this episode from Bubbles, Michael & Duke, and it was nice to see Namond & Colvin cameo appearances, with all the negative reviews about this season, I did enjoy All the cameos we got💯
No negative review from me!
My bro Noah always right on time ⏲️ 👌🏽 👍🏽 💯

From THE BUNK 🗣️
lol
bro edging the finale
Haha, you’re not wrong. This Saturday is the finale!
This episode was insane on my first watch. Emotions were seriously all over the place. Top 5 Episode for The Wire for sure. Carcetti is officially no better than Royce atp and Steintorff's remark "be creative gentlemen" pretty much sums up the entire structure of the political world. Also note how Carcetti doesn't have anymore scenes with Daniels. I also love how Rawls looks at Daniels afterwards like "Surprised? I'm not." Kima telling on McNulty and the others is so complex that it's insane. Like I for one was never on McNulty's side with this scheme ALTHOUGH I was happy that Marlo and the others *finally* got taken down. To this day I'm not sure if I completely agree with her decision or not as I do appreciate her at the end of the day for sticking to what she believes is right and it is something we've seen her do before. There are lines that Kima as a officer of the law just won't cross and I respect her for that. Definitely a iconic Wire character. Sonja Sohn is so so wonderful.
Agree!
