Yes! Imam Khomeini said that while we are discussing whether to pray with our hands up or down, the enemies are discussing how to to cut off our hands.

YET ONE IS TRANSLATED AS INSTEAD & THE OTHER BESIDES ?
Q 7:81-إِنَّڪُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَہۡوَةً۬ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ۬ مُّسۡرِفُونَ
Q 34:22- قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ لَا يَمۡلِڪُونَ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ۬ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِيهِمَا مِن
شِرۡكٍ۬ وَمَا لَهُ ۥ مِنۡہُم مِّن ظَهِيرٍ۬

Salim's father (Ibn 'Umar) said, "The following poetic verse occurred to my mind while I was looking at the face of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) while he was praying for rain. He did not get down till the rain water flowed profusely from every roof-g utter: And a white (person) who is requested to pray for rain and who takes care of the orphans and is the guardian of widows . . . And these were the words of Abu Talib."
S.BUKHARI 174-Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd:I heard the Prophet saying, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount (Kauthar), &.There will come to me some people whom I KNOW THEM& they know me,&then a barrier will be set up between me& them."the Prophet further said:"I will say those people are from me.It will be said,'You do not know what changes&new things they did after U.'Then I will say,'Far removed (from mercy),far removed (from mercy),those who changed (the religion) after me!"
