Jews believe that the reason for leaving Hagar and Ismael in the desert was Sarah's suggestion to do so because she began to dislike Hagar and Ismael. But the Muslim scriptures tell us something quite different - it was God's instruction to Abraham. In fact, the Jewish scriptures mention that Ismael would a lead a great nation. Just think, would a great prophet like Abraham abandon his wife and son in the middle of the desert to die just because his first wife told him to do so? Therefore, the Jewish narrative does not make sense. According to the Quran, Ismael was not only hugely disciplined but also was incredibly faithful to God, which found expression when he agreed to be slaughtered as a dedication to God. The Jewish native depicts Sarah as an evil person but the truth is that she was simply obeying God's order as was Abraham.

That was true of Ishmael later in life when he joined with his brother Isaac to burn their father Avraham. It was a tremendous spiritual accomplishment to temper his unbridled love as the Rabbi explained so I do not doubt the Quran here, it cannot be overstated. Remember Avraham first name was Avram before he reached his high level of spirituality. Also the Jews including myself revere Sarah as a matriarch, as a pillar of Jewish spirituality and blessed memory just like Avraham. Why would we think she was evil??

You can't change the God's word later therefore jewish scriptures came far before quran. If quran changes it then it is falsely said in quran. By the way it is also mentioned in jewish scripture that god instructed Abraham to send his wife and son ishmael away, after blessing Ishmael.

In the Quran and the Hadiths, it's mentioned that God orderd Ibrahim to tak Hajar and Ismael into the valley of mecca. He left them there by Gods command, and he only brought some water and food. When he was leaving them Hajar asked Ibrahim why are you leaving us in this desolate place, did God ask you to do this? He confirmed it and went away. It was very hard for both of them but it was God's test and wisdom, and Ibrahim never disobeyed God. After, some distance Ibrahim turned towards them and prayed to God to bless this land with water and food and to guide to establish pray to keep them on the true to their God. Ismael was a baby and he started crying from thirst, and Hajar started to look for water running up and down the valley after the mirage she was seeing. But God send the angel Gabriel and he hit the ground beneath Ismael and a spring of water exploded and hajar started drinking with Ismael (the spring is called Zamzam) a caravan later came by and saw the, water and the brids and they came closer and asked to drink of it. Later the tribe in the carvan called Jurhum settled and when Ismael grew up he married one of them and learned. To muslims it was the command of God to establish the presence of faith in these land. We hold Ibrahim's family in high regard. All of them were God and patient. There is also mention of other visits of Ibrahim to mecca. Ismael had a his own journey and plan with God, and he was blessed and tested too, to this day Ismael decadents live in mecca and pray to God in mecca and drink Zamzam like our mother Hajar did. Since we have a different story, we don't have enmity toward Isaac or Sara, they had nothing to do with it, and the had their own tests and blessing. In every prayer we ask God to bless Mohammed and the family of Mohammed, just like he blessed Ibrahim and the children of Ibrahim... in every pray.

You see.. If you change the perspective.. Abraham was told by sarah to kick Hagar , a handmaiden and her child Ishmael with abrahm out. Abraham tell hagar that God commanded me to throw you out.. Hagar believes it and tell her child Ishmael the same story. So according to the followers of Islam God asked Abraham to dump Hagar. But in actuality it was Sarah's decision who is official wife😇 . Proof that Isaac is the chosen child and not Ishmael- Israel is the chosen People. Israel is the Children of yakoob, who is the son of isaac. Every prophet is from Israel.. Muhammad is an outsider. Which is proving that Muhammad isn't a prophet.

In the Bible it says that Ismael was almost a teenager when Isaac was born. But then, the bible tells the story of Sara asking Abraham to get rid of Ismael and his mother and while explaining the details of that jorney it turns out that Ismael seems to be a baby again. Something went wrong with the age of Ismael in that book. It seems like someone was forcing the text to say that Isaac was the preferred son and the one who was about to be sacrificed and not Ismael. Even if the command of God in the Bible was clear about the fact that there was only one son of Abraham when God command him to sacrifice him.

Even when God made convent that all his house whole males must circumcise , Ismael was already 13 years old while Isaac was very little by then but Ismael is the promised child of God to Abraham but Isaac as Sarah was the legal wife of Abraham. When Sarah even die ,Abraham had another another wife and had four children with her, which people don't mention most of the time in discussions . Simply Ismael was a bastard because his mother was not legally married to Abraham. Take your own time and read the whole book Genesis in the bible, pray to for understanding.

In Semitic cultures, including Judaism, Arabs, and other Semitic peoples, the eldest son is the one who inherits the family name and property, so Sarah feared that Ishmael would inherit Abraham’s legacy as the eldest son, as was the custom at that time, so she expelled Hagar and Ishmael, as mentioned in the Bible, but God Despite this, he inherited the book, wisdom, kingship, and civilization, as we see in Arab-Islamic history and civilization

There are so many similarities between Islam and Jewish religion:
      * Both Islam and Judaism religion believes in the Oneness and True almighty God (which means strong monotheistic religion) we never worship any idols or statues same as the Jews
      * Muslims pray 5 times per day inside mosques and Jews pray 3 times per day which includes bowing down before God and prostration
      * Both Jews and Muslims pray to the same God inside mosques or synagogues and inside the prayer rooms there are no photos or statues of God (Elohim and Allah is the same being derived from Elaha)
Muslims give Salam upon meeting and Jews tell Shalom upon meeting in the beginning ❤❤❤
*Jews only believe upto Prophet Moses but many more Prophets emerged after him such as Jesus, John the Baptist etc. Jesus bought the Inzil (New Testament of the Bible) which came after Torah (Old Testament of the Bible)
According to Christianity Jewish Rabbis killed Jesus and crucified him and they killed John the Baptist (who is Yahya in the Quran), The Jews accuses Jesus of duplicating and copying from the Torah in the Bible
In the same way some Jews also accuses our Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam as copying from the Torah in the Quran (Nauzubillah)
Islam is the true religion from Allah ❤❤❤
All the doors of Islam are opened for the Jews and Christians ❤❤❤
Every non-Muslims are invited to the religion of Islam

This makes perfect sense (given that Ishmael is Chesed of Tohu). Akeidas Yitzchok is all about erecting boundaries: it was unnecessary to shed a drop of Yitzchok's holy blood, but _something_ had to be done to avoid the imbalance caused by an overabundance of either chesed or gevurah, so it was necessary only to _bind_ them.

Interesting take on Ishmeal I found online (Christian Perspective)
“So now we have this story: Ishmael and Isaac. Ishmael is a fourteen year old boy. He’s kicked out into the desert but the Lord is faithful. He preserves him. He promises to make him into a great nation. So we read these things and they’re interesting Bible stories but what I’m asking you to do is to put yourself in the position and recognize the fact that in history, in real time, this was a real boy… with real emotions, with a real life. This happened to a little kid named Ishmael. And so what we need to understand is you have this little boy and… he had a dad. He had a mother. He had a family. He had a life. He had an inheritance. And in one day he loses all of these things. He loses his dad. He loses his inheritance. He’s out in the desert. He’s on his own. And that brokenness, that woundedness, that rejection that took place in this little child, today, has been passed on into the religion of Islam.
What do I mean? … Mohammed, the founder of Islam… claims to be a direct descendant of Ishmael and Muslims, today, view themselves as both the physical and the spiritual descendants of Ishmael. And so here you have this story, this incredible event that took place in this child’s life. Two thousand six hundred years after these events took place, a direct descendant of Ishmael named Mohammed birthed forth a new religion into the world. And what does the religion teach? … It teaches God is not a father. God has no Son. And, thirdly, Ishmael, not Isaac, is the heir with regard to the promises of God to the earth. The very things that those issues of rejection and woundedness and brokenness that took place in Ishmael’s life were preserved in that line and two thousand six hundred years later, a man named Mohammed goes into a cave, has an incredibly dark encounter with some sort of spiritual being. It literally chokes the life out of him to where he feels as though he’s going to die, three times this presence comes over him and it demands of him to recite… On the third time, the words of the Qur’an begin to flow forth from his mouth….Mohammed, himself, literally believed that he was demon-possessed. He was trying to unalive himself. He was terrified.”

You perceived Ishmael as one of your cousins or relatives who has gone through those traumas of rejection, woundedness, and brokenness! He was the son of a great prophet! I have never come across a fairytale that imaginatively states that one can cast their ancestor's mind back to their "traumas" and consequently come up with a scripture and another religion. If you are not suffering from cognitive rigidity, then take the Quran and the bible, both old and new testaments, and read and compare. I doubt your shaky foundation wouldn't crumble down. Here's what will happen to you if you do that: You will go through an existential crisis but if you follow your innate state of goodness and wholeheartedly be humble to what makes sense to that innate stance, you will end up being Muslim. Go and read!

    • @cherylscott6040

Ishmael was never the rightful heir or worthy of any inheritance because the covenant was made between Abraham and Sarah. This 'rabbi' should have spoken on the impatience and disobedience of Sarai and Abram. If both would have trusted in Yahuah's promise, Ishmael would never have been born. Ishmael may have been the progenitor of Arabs/Muslims, but Issac was NOT the progenitor of jews. He was the progenitor of the Israelites, and there is a difference between the two.

Was Yahuah's covenant made between Abram and Sarai, or was it between Abram and Hagar? Issac was considered Abraham's firstborn son because of that covenant made. So, how is that negativity towards Ishmael? That IS in the Bible.

"Ishmael is the father of Arabs and later Muslims. Isaac is the father of Jews".
If Ishamel is the father of "Muslims" then why didn't he say "Isaac father of Jews, later Christians"?

Most of the non-Arab Muslims have nothing to do with Arabs in a physical/ancestral way still he added Muslims with Arabs. But he didn't do that with Christianity though it was born in Israel, founded by a Jew and led by Jews, comprised mostly by Jews in the early days.
Esau's descendants are no more even before Jesus's time they were destroyed (Malachi1:2-5) then how come they be the father of Rome?

Shalom Rabbi. The brevity of your presentation, lucidity & valuable depth of insight it generates makes it seems "criminal" to ask questions. Questions are results of doubt & your presentation is an antithesis to doubt. You truly are beyond my linguistic ability to fittingly describe. You are a library as a matter of fact. How could such a short presentation encapsulate the essence of man - at all levels; spiritual, temporal, philosophical, psychological, sociological, etc.?
In fact, I feel compelled to be not only a subscriber, a regular social media file or following but also & especially, a disciple.

Tudor Parfitt suggests that the creation of Anglo Israelism was inspired by numerous ideological factors, which included: a desire of its adherents, many of whom were from ordinary backgrounds, to prove that they had a glorious ancient past; emerging pride in Western imperialism and colonialism, and a belief in the "racial superiority of white Anglo-Saxon Protestants".
To some adherents, Anglo Israelism served as a justification for Anglo imperialism and American settler colonialism (manifest destiny), along with the displacement of indigenous peoples which subsequently followed them.

The progeny of Isaac wanted materialism, power and some religious laws and they didn't mind mixing with pagans, doing the wrong or rightful stuff with them and maybe following their magic practices even though it was strictly not allowed. The progeny of Ishmael was against the mixing doctrines with the pagans it was ok to be rich and all, but not mixing your belief system with those who worship other than God. So Abraham knew this coming and took Ishmael and his mom to the desert in Arabia where a direction of prayer was pre built and they corrected it and later on this came to be the Muslim world. As you see now in Israel and the materialistic west which has Abrahamic laws but mixed with paganism and occult sciences this is an example of what is going on in the world. But the pagans and sons of Israel have transgressed too much and made it lawful to even kill innocent people in war (this was a rule of war only in paganism not in Abrahamic religion). They also love money and conquest too much so they have transgressed severely and the progeny of Ishmael is currently suffering their half brothers onslaughts mixed with pagan satanic people. The Ishmael people, i.e the Muslims have the pure religious teachings of Abraham, no occult or pagan, or magic rituals.

Judaism was definitely NOT the first religion from Abraham.
There was a monotheistic faith in God practiced by Abraham. The Hebrew faith of Moses, that was for all 12 tribes, was not in existence at the time of Abraham. Would Abraham have approved of what Moses preached? We'll never know.
When the Judges ruled Israel, the 12 tribes fought against each other. Eventually a king took over named Saul from the Tribe of Benjamin. Then the throne was usurped by a man from the Tribe of Judah, who then effectively gave birth to what we know as Judaism, a religion that was truly Tribe of Judah-oriented.
So no, Judaism was NOT the first religion to originate from the beliefs of Abraham. Don't trust the orthodox Jewish rabbis on this one.

It is true that Christians do indeed know that they are not allowed to wage wars. ..but yes: they are also not allowed to lie, not to be jealous, not to be envious, and so on. 'Knowing is not the same as doing'. And it is true that they did participate in wars. They let others start them and then supported these wars. They like to present themselves as holy and pure, but ancient history and even contemporary society are not doing well, and of course they blame non-Christians for this: it's all their fault....?? ....Being honest is not a real virtue among many who still like to proclaim themselves as Christians.

      * Both Jews and Muslims pray to the same God inside mosques or synagogues and inside the prayer rooms there are no photos or statues of God (Elohim and Allah is the same Supreme being derived from Elaha)
According to Christianity Jewish Rabbis killed Jesus and crucified him and they killed John the Baptist (who is Yahya in the Quran son of Zakaria), The Jews accuses Jesus of duplicating and copying from the Torah in the Bible
In the same way some Jews also accuses our Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) as copying from the Torah in the Quran (Nauzubillah)
Islam is the true religion from Allah ❤❤❤
All the doors of Islam are opened for the Jews and Christians ❤❤❤
Every non-Muslims are invited to the religion of Islam
      * So every Jews should convert to Islam upon reading this message ❤❤❤

This so-called rabbi is actually Esau’s descendants himself, to include all caucasians. That’s why they call themselves jew(ish)/Israelis, but not Jews/Israelites. The “ish” at the end of any word means somewhat/in a way/not exactly. The following books are written by his fellow Israelis: “Facts are Facts”; “The Thirteen Tribe”; “Who is Esau-Edom?”.

If you look at the gross excesses of Israel, disproportionate and indiscriminate, it's clear that it is they that have no bounds. Most Jews have adopted a racist version of Judaism considering themsleves a master race or chosen people. They can charge non Jews interest but not Jews. It's time this inherently racist version of Judaism is called out and hiding behing all this esoterical nonsense doesn't change the facts on the ground. Israel allows right of return for Jews from all over the world and who cannot trace any direct indigineous lineage but 5 million Palestinians are denied the same. Now Rabbi, you tell me who suffers from gross excess?

Thank you for teaching this. The comments are interesting. It helped me simplify my thought and pay attention to the core. This is timely as we are sure to find this manifest in any family if left unchecked. Large organisations have policies as boundaries that allow people to view themselves as individuals and focus on performance. This teaches discipline . Interactions with people teach love and care. I agree very much life shall be very much better with love and discipline, like two eyes but vision is one, like two legs, each taking a step to move forward.

    • @nathanhighlander

The problem is the comments are mostly from Moslems for non-Arab countries who always change the narrative because of the limitation of Koran - that's why it needs Hadits, thousands of books, to support Koran - that we can say, lies must cover another lies - because Mohamed copypasted it from the Torah & the Bible - that came 3600 years prior.
      Read on ... 👇🏼
Now come the hardest point to face..
There are a huge gap of time between Ishmael & Mohamed.
It means that as a devout, Ishmael learned a lot from his dad.
      And his descendents too.
Aka ... They knew Moses too.
Aka... They knew about the Torah, too.
And I'm talking about +3600 years of learning & knowing.
Until sometime in 610 or so AD, Mohamed clalimed he received the book of Koran from 'Allah.'
And that Koran taught to eliminate all Jews & so that Islam can rule the world, as they tried once under Ummayyads, Abbasyds, Ottomann back in the day.
(But they didn't manage to conquest all parts of Asia Afrique, and Europe).
Meaning: Islamic teachings are the opposite of what Abraham taught.
      🔥
Now, why it happened so abruptly?
Because Mohamed made the Koran - which many crucial parts of it he took from the Torah / Old Testament.
Aka it's not from God himself - but it was a man made that was a warlord.
That's why the teaching fits with what Islam's objective today - to convert and to conquer.
It is natural, if I befriended with junkies in a dangerous, criminal neighbourhood full of pimps and others since I was a child, then I am one of them, unless I got out from it.
I'm a product of my environment.
There's no way a warlord think of peace ( unless you bow at me).
      💥
      Which brings to this conclusion..
Islam today is NOT what Ishmael once learned from Abraham.
Islam today is what the warlord Mohamed taught.
No wonder all terrorist wants to see Islam rules again.
      The problem is ...
      They will never will.
Because God, that Abraham, the father of Ismael, worshipped, gave the blessing to Israel.

So if all moslems keeps insisting to do what Koran teach them, to kill all the Jews and rule the world; basically ...
They already violate what their great, great, great, great grandpa, Abraham himself taught them.
      Again, it won't happen.
Because it means moslems who want that happen fight against GOD himself.
And if they insist their Allah is their God, then he must be the other true God.
      Aka pagan god.
      Satan himself.
So, those moslems - who want to see the elimination of the Jews - worship Satan himself.

In Hinduism one's nature is called swabhav. There are three types: action oriented, feeling oriented and thinking oriented. For the thinking type, first there is thinking, then feeling and then action. For the action oriented type first there is action, then feeling and then thinking. For the feeling type first there is decision and then reasoning.
To know one's own swabhav is to note for 21 days how you act in any given situation and to which opposite one moves easily: non-thinking, non-feeling, non-action. There are no pure types but there is usually a predominant one.
Once one knows his swabhav then the type of Yoga can be chosen: for the feeling type there is Bhakti Yoga, for the thinking type there is Jnana Yoga, for the action type there is Karma Yoga.

Hinduism is a false god, false religion, false doctrine and going to Hell!
Jesus said with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, AND MORE!
      This is NOT karma!
Jesus takes everything into his understanding and judgement. "And More" means, the wrong will be repaid in the same context, circumstances, situation, innocence, reliance, betrayal, trust, who, relationship etc and then multiply that by 10 times!! Is that Karma?
No! karma says what you did will come back to you.
      Not the same judgement.

    • @SahasraraIm
      @SahasraraIm 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@nanagandi Hinduism is a distinct religion. It is an expression of the Dharma.
As for the origins the Bharati, the people inhabiting Bharat, that is commonly known as India and Hinduism, according to a book said to be written by Clement the I disciple of Saint Peter, called the Book of the Rolls, there are some references there. Sanskrit as such in which the Vedas are written is similar with Avesta which is connected with Zoroastrianism. As for the Zoroastrianism based on some of the references in the above mentioned book, I believe that is connected to Nimrod the Giant and Noah's 4th son called in the book Bouniter.
Another thread that I heard from YY Jacobson is that the kids that Abraham fathered with Keturah were sent into the East with Spiritual Tools. Wether the Bharati are descendants from them I don't quite know.
      Hope that helps!

By the sounds of what the rabbi has said , I think that Ishmael was of the great man the more stable to lend the people of that world to oneness of god, his the better stable man with just a mum and to grow into a stronger man .issac had a father and mum who advised and made him .
Ishmael only had only his mum .
God told Abraham that He would establish his covenant through Isaac, and when Abraham inquired as to Ishmael's role, God answered that Ishmael has been blessed and that he "will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation."
