No one is disputing the fact that many pre-Islamic Arabian tribes were stone worshippers. This is the very reason why God sent them a messenger (i.e. Prophet Muhammad) to remind them to direct their worship to the Creator, not the creation. Remember also that Muslims believe Abraham built the original Kaaba & no one disputes that Abraham was a monotheist. Muhammad's mission, just as Moses & Jesus & all the prophets before him, was to re-establish the worship of One God, which had been forgotten.

JazakAllah for all those sharing such beneficial knowledge, that we can send to our "muslim" family who take part in all these stupid rituals, that they claim are so "innocent". who sadly become further away from purity and truth.. May we be blessed with knowledge and faith to stay away from these accountable sins and always be brave to speak the truth Amen.

@AndyMKordo It may have been because of the old Greek word “Keltoi” or not. It is interesting to note that the Welsh and Gaelic pronunciation is “kelt”, and always has been. Perhaps that also played a part in the change. Whatever the reasons, scholarly circles now consider “kelt” to be the correct pronunciation among the educated.

  • @brasilcork
    @brasilcork 12 ปีที่แล้ว

@AndyMKordo In the 20th century the Germans of academia got into Celtic studies more and they pronounced the “c” as a “k”, because that is how it is enunciated in their language. It spread around the academic world that scholars were now pronouncing “Celt” like “kelt.” How this trend really got started is unknown.

Mashallah, a great historian. I wish there were more detailed lectures on this subject for Dawah purpose. I especially liked his trip to Timbuktu found it fascinating the Islamic history, and also his lecture on Native Americans being a civilized society. Not what you would learn at school from the pagans. Mashallah, we need to have more lectures by Muslim Historians and more Islamic teachers in History in our schools. What they are teaching kids is a load of Rubbish pagan sickness.

Ok, the Gallic and possibly the Brythonic people had it too, but the Gallic and Brythonic cultures were stamped out by the Romans and christianity. Ireland, Wales, Scotland, the Isle of Man and Brittany are the only locations were Celtic culture is still practiced (I happen to know a few things about the Celts). Oh, and by the way, Samhain was a celebration of the Ancestors, not satan. He didn't exist according to their pantheon.

Actually, the word "kelt" itself is not celtic at all. It comes from the GREEK "keltoi" which was given to the "barbarians" (strangers) living beyond the Danube and Rhone rivers.
The same word then derived into Latin to make in french "Celtae" and then in French "Celtes" (pronounced "selt" and it's my native language).
Obviously, the word that the "kelts" have ever heard first was "celtes" from the French. That's why both pronunciations are considered correct.
So: no he was not wrong.

Most Muslims don't know most of Islam is Pagan itself.
Kissing black stone in Kaaba is Pagan practice, Circling it is Pagan practice & worshipping a black stone is Pagan practice. Even Islamic Special days - "Ramzan, Eid" are based on Pre Meccan Pagan months of the changes in the phase of the "Moon". Islam is simply the worship of a Pagan Moon God - Allah, An ancient Sumerian Moon God.

"Whatever deity or form a devotee worships, I make his or her faith steady. However, their wishes are only granted by Me alone."(Gita 7:21-22)"
This is a text from Bhagavat Gita, Hindu Scripture, 3000 years before Islam. This verse speaks of Universal peace saying anyone worshiping anything is fine because it is the same God.
Too bad Christianity, Islam and Judaism don't have that much common sense to agree that everyone worships one God and live in Peace. Islam is a kid compared to Hinduism.

I agree with sdarbro, we celebrate halloween and not samhain, but even samhain had more to do with dead ancestors than just hiding from vengeful spirits. Also it should be pronounced 'saw-wen'

  • @ashtile

It is pronounced Keltic not seltic also Samhain is not the name of a Celtic god Samhain is the name of the day the last day of the Celtic year also the last day of the harvest. As anything left in the field belonged to the dead and was forbidden from being harvest also that evening various divinations were done in the evening to see if they had enough food for the winter. it was also believed that the vail between the living and the dead was thinnest and offerings were left for loved ones

We celebrate Halloween, and not Sam Hain. They are NOT the same despite their origins. Spirituality has little function in MOST of our national holidays, and, as a secular country, it SHOULD NOT, else it would not be inclusive to ALL our citizens. There is no pagan connotations to the modern method of celebrating Halloween. It is merely a fun outlet for children, NOT a pagan recruiting method.

@BolnoyBratchny prove it. Plain and simple. If you say such bold words, however, when the previous commentators try to dialogue with you, you only have ignorant, CHILDISH responses. How old are you? "Muslims are losers,"? How so? How do you mean? The person you're commenting on in the video is obviously educated enough to clearly present his point. I highly suggest you
either do the same or find something else to do. Like pick up a BOOK and LEARN about Islam before making such comments.
