Hej Anna! The Algorithm introduced me to your channel after I searched for videos to learn Swedish and to refinish antique kitchen cabinets. I'm glad it did! I find your videos inspiring and fun. After the terrible results of our election in the United States, it's even more comforting to have a window into the lives of kindred spirits who care about kindness and sustainability. Thank you for your good work!
Holy crap, Anna. Swimming in the ocean in Sweden at this time of year??? You are one tough Scandinavian viking woman. You take “girl power” to a whole new level.
I can't believe all the things you found in the concrete layers. Incredible!!! Always love that the chickens help you. I'm sure that swim was COLD!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh my goodness, the amount of junk put into the steps! What a strange thing to do 😅. The new /old steps would look lovely tiled or painted. The house number looks great x
Those steps are SOOO much better! You had everything but the kitchen sink! Holding them up! Amazing the “ skill and recycle use” of previous owners… truly amazed at what you’ve turned your home into. Have been following you since the beginning of this journey and so impressed Anna💜a follower from 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good job. FYI ‘A sight for sore eyes’ is a colloquialism that means something nice to see that soothes sore eyes. Just in case you’d like to know. Now it is!
Great video, good job! Good luck for your friends and so nice of them to let you use some of their land for gardening😊 Maybe you could grow various kinds of beans and maybe potatoes? Keep us posted on what you decide. Have a very happy weekend everybody❤️
Stairs look great and can't wait to see you working on your new office space. Especially loved watching the chickens kick the crap out of the fallen leaves!
Oh my goodness, I could understand building debris like bottles, and metal bits, but what you dug out there is unbelievable 😂. Your house is really taking shape and looking so cozy and inviting. ❤
I LOVE the look of the dark green with black trim on the house! So cozy and adorable. You have done such a great job. I love having your videos playing while I work.
I really, really love everything you do and I i really hope you make your attic the perfect space for yourself! Sittig there enjoying the snow falling will be so peaceful!
Dear Anna! Very brave to go swimming in November!😅🥶your house now looks so beautiful and the chickens are the best companions 🐓🐓🐓♥️ I like the brass house number, very elegant 👌thanks again for a very interesting video and seeing you soon, have a lovely weekend ! Cheers from Iris from southwest Germany!👋🤩🙋♀️
Deine Videos sind mit die besten auf TH-cam. Danke für die schöne Zeit in deinem Garten und Haus. Neue Freunde in der Nähe zu finden ist wunderbar wie Gold. 🧡
That is amazing what they put in the concrete. You wonder about the thought process of why they wanted to extend the steps in the first place. And wow, that swim! I bet it felt great….once you got out 😃
Ha ha, I laughed so much when you uncovered all that trash in the concrete 😂 Incredible… Your videos are very good, aesthetic, interesting, calm and fun as well 👍
its a little bit weird, what you found under your stairs, but as long as you dont find someones remains, everything is ok. 😅You did a great job ,greetings from Vienna/ Austria
I love to watch you make your house a home, you know so much and have learned so much. I look forward to you video every week. Keep up the good work.😜😊
I was hoping that you would find gold buried in the cement. That is a time capsule. It is so funny that your chickens were helping you push aside the leaves.
Your crew was on quality control duty today, as opposed to helping… although they did help with some raking!! Swimming??? In the freezing cold? And I can’t figure out the use of trash for filling in the stairs!! All in all… Great episode!! Hope to see you next week!
I am not surprised at all.. when we renovated our bathroom in the app we found old beer bottles and trash under the bathtub ..it was neatly covered with plaster and tiles 🫣🤔🤷♀️
I can’t beleive the shoddy construction that you took out! Wow! That was a lot worse than I thought. At least you didn’t have to reconstruct the stairs. I would definitely think about putting a railing of some sort in place as I could see that it is a safety issue. I can’t wait to see what you do with the attic.
I'm very absent-mided and easily distracted, so I'm always loosing my tools in the garden. I couldn't help a good laugh when I saw your finds inside the concrete. THAT has not happened to me... YET 😂!
It is so satisfying to see your hard work pay off! I make TH-cam videos in a similar spirit as yours and when we were renovating our tiny house out in the remote west, I remember while we were working how much we loved projects like the one you did in this video where you can see an immediate difference ☺ Sending my best from my little corner of the world to yours!
Isn’t there times when we just scratch our head and say “why”? This is one of those times…putting debris in cement is extremely odd. Love your number 3 and your hen helpers.
Hello Anna, your channel came into my feed yesterday and since it’s uncharacteristically cloudy and threatening rain here in Sydney, I’ve really been enjoying watching your videos. I hope you are proud of yourself for everything you are accomplishing there. I’m sure you solved the rat issue by now. I’m with you. I hate killing anything and unfortunately when in comes to rodents in homes there’s really no choice. One trick I used in the past was to plug holes/openings with steel wool bc in theory they can’t chew through that.
well it appears the previous owners buried their trash , not only in the area around your house but as part of the house - did they think the earth would break it all down....sad but glad you are the new keeper of the land and I know the land will reward you for taking better care!
The stairs look so much better after you removed the extra concrete. It's as though someone just decided one day "You know, I think I'll cement my garbage onto the steps. Yeah, that seems like a good idea"! I'm excited for you with the extra gardening space, too. Garlic is ideal for it as it overwinters so well with a thick layer of mulch, but really any root vegetables would also do well, especially if you set it up as a cold frame.
Hello Anna, at first I missed the girls, but afterwards they could still be seen. Only the "little ones" were not to be seen. Are they no longer with you? The entrance area now looks really good, the house number is now a real highlight. Again good progress. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from cologne Andy
Here in Ohio (USA) I’m never disappointed when I find stuff mixed into the building material or under it. Never ceases to amaze me. Loved your reaction and the friggin tools.
When you were demolishing the stairs and pulling out stranger and stranger things, I had a vision of Mary Poppins bag, expected to see a mirror and a hat stand emerge 😂😂
Goodness what strange things to find in the concrete! I thought misheard you say you were going swimming in ocean, but no there you were! I dread to think what temperature the water was! 😱😱
Every time your enter your home the energy will be subtly improved by the excavation of that strange assortment in the concrete stair additions - I wonder if they thought adding plastic and metal was somehow reinforcing the strength of the cement? My only suggestion for your expanded gardening efforts is to think carefully about whether you and Ulla and her partner want Jerusalem artichokes now, or forever ... having once planted them in a very large kindergarten garden, they were never able to be removed entirely here. They spread both underground, and through airborne seeds, and we had them everywhere thereafter.
when you remove the concreate with all the junk under, I was in shock ;) and good thing you live at # 3, a lot easy job than if you were staying at the # 34985 :) :) :) thank for the video.
I found metal bars and broken tools on the bottom of cement tiles that my grandfather made. After the war, there was a shortage of supples in Finland, so people used whatever then could find for reinforcing cement 😅
My only problem with your channel is not enough posts. You are doing a wonderful job and I have told my grand daughters about you to show what you can do. Thanks
OMG what the heck were they thinking actually I doubt much actual real thought went into what they did!! The stairs look so much better now 😊 Love the number looks great 😊 Ok you and Daniel are mad for going into that cold water 💦🤧 Everything is looking so good now you have worked magic (with heaps and heaps of hard work) into your home 😊 Can't wait to see what you do with that other area although slight concern there seemed to be some water damage there??
People used to be strange with trash before! In my woods next to the house they used to throw medical trash a lot! You win though with your "funky" concrete! Fortunately now we have recycle centers!
Steps look great now. Will you make a video on how you will make compost with those leaves you collected and put into the wire holder please? The steps required etc... i have lits of leaves too and dont know how to deal with them. Love your channel, your house is really progressing, great work!
I have just piled them up everywhere I can, and hopefully I can mulch with some next year, and leave some to decompose for another year or so. I have never tried, but it should become a pretty good soil for seedlings as it will be low in nutrients 🙌
Great job on the stair case - it looks so much better now! I can't believe the amount of stuff buried in there. This is my first comment on your channel, but I've been following your adventures for a while, you're very inspiring:)
Great job Anna. A sight for sore eyes in the uk is something lovely to soothe the sore eyes, so it's what you ended up with, not what you began with. Does it have a different meaning with you?
Hui, To be honest, I was a bit worried that you would still find the construction worker who owned the tools. 😬
The man who "planted" the tools made quite a statement that he was done working forever.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😅
😂😂😂
It did seem "murderesque" - as if evidence was hidden.

Could not agree more!
I love how the chickens want to be wherever you are❤🏴🇨🇦
What a change with the steps! The dabris in the cement you removed was astonishing! Great job Anna!
Holy crap, Anna. Swimming in the ocean in Sweden at this time of year??? You are one tough Scandinavian viking woman. You take “girl power” to a whole new level.
It’s a “polar bear swim”.
Brrr
Such a lovely and relaxing channel. Your mix of subject, music and thoughts works perfectly.
Tiled would be extremely slippery with the Swedish weather tho.
@izuizabela6613 oh yes, smooth ones would. I meant tiles specifically designed for outdoors 😃
Aww...the little gray hen is helping you rake ❤❤

Anna I absolutely love your videos and can't wait for you to post on Fridays. Please keep up the good work you are doing a wonderful job ❤
Your wee home is looking quite cosy and pretty complete.
Goodness what a hoot all the stuff in the steps at
your front door
The steps look nice now
I LOVE the look of the dark green with black trim on the house! So cozy and adorable. You have done such a great job. I love having your videos playing while I work.
Wow, that was strange! But interesting. Porch is now vastly improved!! Regards from Texas :)
I really, really love everything you do and I i really hope you make your attic the perfect space for yourself! Sittig there enjoying the snow falling will be so peaceful!
It's like they made a time capsule in your porch! lol...
Loving the peaceful/gentle music
I love how your chickens follow you around. ❤️
Dear Anna! That is amazing what they put in the concrete. You wonder about the thought process of why they wanted to extend the steps in the first place. And wow, that swim! I bet it felt great….once you got out 😃
I would have kept at least one of the concrete sheets embedded with the trash as a piece of art in the garden.
Maybe next time? 😉
You don’t even need a dog!
Your chickens follow you everywhere and are so loyal!
I like their subtle clucking! 🐓
C'est fou tout ce que vous avez trouvé sous ce perron, joli travail
I can't believe you got in that water, wow😲 You're an inspiring worker, very deliberate and tidy! Your house and garden look amazing 😊
Ha ha, I laughed so much when you uncovered all that trash in the concrete 😂 Incredible…
Your videos are very good, aesthetic, interesting, calm and fun as well 👍
This was such a satisfying video. The front entrance looks so nice. Your hens are beautiful.
Daniel’s guitar music is so beautiful. I could listen to that all day.
Glad to hear that you appreciate it 😌! I’ll try to come up with something new for the next video, if I can ☺️!
its a little bit weird, what you found under your stairs, but as long as you dont find someones remains, everything is ok. 😅You did a great job ,greetings from Vienna/ Austria
You are quite the amazing worker !! Well done on all your jobs you do. Can’t believe the junk the previous people put in the concrete !!.
I really love your house and garden. You are very clever. I would love to live there
Archeological studies of another kind - what an interesting way getting rid of waste :))
I love to watch you make your house a home, you know so much and have learned so much. I look forward to you video every week. Keep up the good work.😜😊
I couldn't stop laughing at the rubbish you pulled out of the step 😂 you are very brave taking a dip in the cold water brrr 🏴❤
Thank you to that kind couple for letting you use a part of their property for gardening🙏
Loved this video. How on earth there was so many garden tools and trash😮? You make place so nice❤
I was hoping that you would find gold buried in the cement. That is a time capsule. It is so funny that your chickens were helping you push aside the leaves.

Bell peppers, onions, carrots, and possibly strawberries? I have all of these in my garden and I love them ❤
Love those busy chicks ☺️yikes swimming in cold water …you are brave!
Cool! I'm working on my cabin steps now too... Also crappy concrete ones like yours. I'll check out the new friends love a new build ❤
Amazing how good the steps came out underneath all that junk and broken concrete.🎉
What treasures to be found in old concrete😂.. nice work chickenlady Anna🎉🎉🎉grtz from holland
Steps look much nicer now - what a bizarre archaeology site under the old concrete! Nice to see the hen inspectors whenever you are in the garden :)
100% improvement on the steps. It looks great. ❤

Haha, that is also very strange!
Your front door steps look 1000 times better!
Someone was very creative making those steps! 😆Omg!
Love to se the chickens walk on the leafs.
The concrete is like a time capsule 😂
Haha so true 😂
I'm very absent-mided and easily distracted, so I'm always loosing my tools in the garden.
I couldn't help a good laugh when I saw your finds inside the concrete. THAT has not happened to me... YET 😂!
Haha 😂😂 Misplaced the tools in the uncured cement.. ooops.

Thats cool, I'd love to see what you are up to on your channel 🙏
Wow!! So impressed. They look a million times better. It's been so much fun seeing you redo the whole outside of the house! ❤
Beautiful!!!! Greetings from Austria, Alexandra ❤
The stairs looks great now
Vilken tur att jag såg detta! Jag var på väg till soptippen, men hittade tre säckar betong i källaren! Fatta, vad tid jag sparat!
Isn’t there times when we just scratch our head and say “why”? This is one of those times…putting debris in cement is extremely odd. Love your number 3 and your hen helpers.
Surely the previous owner was pulling a fast one on you. A real sense of humor, that one. You have materials for a quirky piece of art. ❤ 😊 WV 🇺🇸

Such nice sweet new friends !! Lots of love and luck to them ❤😊
I gave up digging old garbage piles on our property, because once you start digging one you never end...
Actually, these blocks looked as a modern art while getting these into the car. Maybe this builder is famous somewhere?
Love how beautiful and cozy you make your home! ❤

Kale is a pretty low maintenance cool weather crop

I have have kept 3 of the little ones 💚 I had to say goodbye to two of the roosters unfortunately..
Here in Ohio (USA) I’m never disappointed when I find stuff mixed into the building material or under it. Never ceases to amaze me. Loved your reaction and the friggin tools.
Refreshing the stairs was a success 😊
I got frozen watching your swim 😂
Thank you so much for the episode, splendid it was ❤
Previous owner was surely very special turning his garden onto a vast dump
You are just so cool. Pop off queen!! (also, how unbelievably random is the staircase filling!)
When you were demolishing the stairs and pulling out stranger and stranger things, I had a vision of Mary Poppins bag, expected to see a mirror and a hat stand emerge 😂😂
Wow, the steps. People do some very strange things--but also very humorous, whether intended or not. They look so much better now.
you 2 are mad getting into the ocean, well you know your heart is good!!
In Canada, they call getting into freezing water, “a polar bear swim”.
Goodness what strange things to find in the concrete! I thought misheard you say you were going swimming in ocean, but no there you were! I dread to think what temperature the water was! 😱😱

Super glad that you friends gave you a piece of their land for gardening🎉🎉🎉
For et multitalent!! Jeg elsker alle videoene! Inspirerende😃👏🔥
I also love your raised beds and composting.

Can't wait to see what you do with that other area although slight concern there seemed to be some water damage there??
Not sure what the original builder of those concrete steps had in mind by using paint brushes for reinforcement.😅 The new steps look great.
People used to be strange with trash before! In my woods next to the house they used to throw medical trash a lot! You win though with your "funky" concrete!
Fortunately now we have recycle centers!
You do make everything you work on at your house and garden look so very nice. Thanks for the visit...I enjoyed it! Thanks!!
Enjoy your videos! Thank you
A sight for sore eyes means that you have been longing to see them, as if they make your eyes feel good.
