My husband is battling cancer and today we took a 12-hour round trip to have more scans done. I'm exhausted and so glad to find a new peaceful video to escape and remind me to look forward. Thanks.
Hi, Anna. You have done another great job of drywalling. FYI, we use drywall tape on the seams. This may help to deal with some of the wider gaps. I love the wreath the you made. And… I love your chickens❤️
I really love your videos! Look forward to them each week. I do have one complaint. I wish they were longer and more frequent! Thank you Anna for sharing this journey with us. You are a peach! Love that beautiful face of yours and your charming personality. Amazing work ethic to be sure. In a sea of mindless hate, aggression and negativity that can the TH-cam world you are truly comforting to watch. A breath of fresh air! 🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔
I watched an interesting video about filming yourself and she said to turn off the auto focus and manually focus it to a fixed spot where you want the viewers to see so that your camera doesn’t constantly pick up on your movements and go blurry when you don’t want it to. Your shots of the Swedish forests are gorgeous! Love your can do attitude. You work in DIY like I do. 😊 it’s looking great!
That wreath is really beautiful. I'd never have thought to use straw, that's so clever! The loft is looking great: it will be worth all the hard work. Thank you for another lovely video x
Anna, I agree about using drywall tape for the seams. Add it right before and after you apply the joint compound and then sand to a smooth finish. Doing this will prevent wall cracks appearing later on after you've painted.
Love the current state of your chimney - that's to say on whats visible. It gives a nice contrast in style that you're working in. You're a true inspiration!
It's so much fun watching your ingenuity ... if you decide, you might like to audition for Cirque de Soleil ... never saw a person use so many body parts to hold stuff up! I just love the chickens and the precious little conversations they have with each other and you as the day goes by!
I love seeing you out foraging in the forest. The moss is so beautiful! Your hard work on the house is really paying off. So much progress! Your chickens are adorably plump and fluffy. I laughed when that one ran up to pose in front of the camera. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us.
Great to see you making so much progress in the upstairs of your home. I will be so thrilled when it is finished!!! The wreath is pretty! Love those chickens! Happy holidays to you and the chickens!!!!!
Wonderful to see the chickens staying cozy in the straw, and you staying cozy in your insulate attic and sauna So peaceful and beautiful at your house. Thank you and have a good holiday.
You’ve made such a beautiful space for yourself. The shed, the house & the yard all look great & so functional. I’m quite enjoying watching your progress. Thanks for sharing.👍🏻🇨🇦
You are doing great it's a beautiful home, Christmas is going to be cozy. I love the green you chose and all the details that you have chosen/ accomplished. The attic is going along very nicely it will be solid, dry, and warm.. I am excited to see your finishes but I am impressed with all your work and their is a lot of beauty in the process. Cheering you on!
Chickens love dried alfalfa leaves, especially in the winter. Sometimes you can buy a bale of hay that has a lot of dried green alfalfa leaves 17:55 . That’s what you’re looking for.
Love the path you walk on through the forest and gather all your decorations for your wreath, which turned out beautiful! Good job on the attic keep plugging away. God’s blessings 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏 stay safe and warm!!
"Already sweaty!" My favorite quote from you "little successes" from a few videos ago. My week has been successfully doing "little" things such as getting duplicate keys made, replace a tiny over-the-stove light and finishing laundry of several blankets/comforters. Awww.....feels good! Just updated my internet service and now have my monthly bill reduced by half. Waiting on the phone for 45 minutes to speak with a very nice representative. And I've put off this call for 7 months. Aww....little successes!
Just enjoy seeing how you face projects head on with resolve and calm. So inspiring and encourages me to get back to my drywall project in my basement. Thanks!
Love your Christmas wreath it's so neat. You've done a great job with your study in the attic. I believe you could do anything now. Thanks for sharing love ya.
Bonjour Anna.
Dear Anna, your videos have given me hours of joy over the past year, thank you! I wish you and your loved ones ( and the chickens) and all the viewers a lovely Christmas. ❤☘
Anna, love your story. I am a diy guy. I have saved 10,000 pounds doing my houses up with the help of my good wife. All the mistakes are my mistakes which i love. Just watching your video before i start work on my next project. Feeling a bit down health wise. Just recovering from a heart attack. You remind me so much of my good wife. Have a great xmas and New year.
That little opening in the floor would make a great hiding spot for something. Could make a time capsule and seal it off for a future family to explore one day
Why is watching someone hanging drywall so relaxing? Don’t you want to just go up in that attic and hold those sheets up while Anna is putting in the screws? But she gets it done! Brava! Nice natural wreath, too! I can see why the chickens hate the snow! It must be cold on their feet! She just looked out the door and said ’I’m not going out in this shit’!
You are making great progress, Anna! Congratulations! I love your wreath, and it gave me excellent ideas for next year. If this was your last vlog before Christmas, I wish you a warm and happy one!❤️🇨🇦
Your videos are entertaining & informative. Is it not amazing how versatile inexpensive vinegar is used in cleaning, diminishing unpleasant household odors, canning, recipes, a grease cutter & used as rinse to make one's hair shiny & static free. The bowl of vinegar to determine what amendments used on the chimney mortar was a new one for me. Thanks
As always, I am impressed by your skills and ingenuity. Additionally, Daniel looks like the lost twin of my brother, Wil. I showed my family a picture last week when we were together for thanksgiving and they agree. You can tell him he has a doppelganger in the US.
Hello Anna, it‘s so fun to watch the chickens run after you! One of the best parts of your videos, sorry. But I do see your hard work and perseverance. Thank you for sharing and have a great time. Greetings from cologne Andy
Hi Anna, great job, look forward to seeing your 'study design. As something of a materials hoarder, I was impressed with your decision to take the plasterboard cut offs to the recycling!! Right decision 👍 I love the' vibe', you have created in your home.
I love everything so much as always! Just wondering if there is anything different with the sound? To me it sounds like there is a very deep buzzing in the beginning of the video when the music isnt on. But maybe thats just me :)
I would pull up all the floor boards to clean the whole thing. Maybe add some insulation. Can't you use the plasterboard for the basement? I never get rid of material until Im done. Sometimes you can put a hole in the plasterboard and need to replace it. Give it away for free also. No need to give it to recycling. Someone can use it.
I think in the last vid you were having trouble with some of your root veggies. You might research some vids on YT about planting in containers. There are gardeners out there that have experimented with growing potatoes, carrots, etc., in cardboard boxes, plastic bags, etc., to see what works best. They get some amazing results.
Existe una cinta para eso de fibra de vidrio colocas un poco de masilla y luego la cinta encima y vuelves a alisar por encima, y ahí algo parecido para esquinas que llevan un refuerzo, para que no se rompa
If anyone can get it done for Christmas you can Anna, you have some wonderful abilities and you are very quick to learn 😊 I love your wreath 🤩💕 Ahh mouse skull better that than live ones 😅 ours have returned sadly first sighting 4th November with numerous ones since, so frustrating and 🤬🤬🤬 That's our down but I have had two lovely ups, my abundant lung scarring from 2 bouts of covid is not currently impacting me and I am on 100% oxygen (much to the surprise of my Doctor and me 😂). Also had my diabetic eye test and I am all clear again that's 2 years in a row (had issues first 2 tests) so now it's 2 year check ups not yearly wahoo 😁😁 Hope you are well 😊
Oh no, sorry to hear about the mice.. I have caught a few in my basement, so I guess they are making their way in now that it is cold.. But yay for your improved health, thats great to hear 💚
I love the way the chickens sit around judging the world and finding it lacking. Also, are you sinking the screws? If you aren't, they will eventually start showing through.
My husband is battling cancer and today we took a 12-hour round trip to have more scans done. I'm exhausted and so glad to find a new peaceful video to escape and remind me to look forward. Thanks.

@@maryannknox7158 Thank you, Maryann - your kindness to a stranger means more than you know. ❤
May you and your husband find peace in your heart. Remember to take care of yourself too. 🙏🏼
Sending strength your way 💚
@@GardenerPhyl Thank you. I take a long walk everyday with our dog and for that time I forget about everything else and find peace and laughter.
I have to admit you do make it look simple. I feel like I could go build a house.

What a beautiful forest🌲🌲🌲 and your Xmas wreath is so nice and perfect in its simplicity ❤
You need to give yourself a pat on the back lady. I am blown away with what you do ❤
I love the wreath. So simple yet beautiful

Thank you 💚 I will do the actual plastering now and will use tape (although despite using tape I still get cracks here and there...)
@@annasgmlindgren it's not a perfect science but i admire for you taking on such a project!
The forest around you are extremely beautiful as is your Christmas wreath. soon, you shall have an office in that attic space!

Thanks Anna, I keep waiting to see more, even when I'm not at all an expert on rebuilding. And the countryside with snow look great. 😍😍
Your chicken looks so healthy and happy!
Excellent progress on the plasterboard - what a great milestone to have reached! Love that wreath!

I envy your ability to forage in the woods and make a beautiful wreath! You're making great progress on your home. I'm learning from you. Keep going!
Lovely to see the georgeous forest, so beautiful x
Yes, the moss on the ground was gorgeous, I have never seen a moss forest bed.
Id love to see a whole house tour and info about different future projects ❤
I have a little tour at the end of the 2 year video, where I also tell a little about my future projects 🙂
You are brave and hard working and you are seeing the results of your hard work! Congratulationa.
You are making fantastic progress. Starting to look like a room. Thank you so much for sharing.
You have done an amazing job putting up dry wall ,love your videos ♥️🇨🇦

Before you give the chickens the dried nettles, put them (the nettles 😉) in some warm water, so that they rehydrate.

Hey there! They are Orpington chickens, they are generally a calm breed and don't fly to high, so pretty nice to have in a small garden💚
If anyone can get it done for Christmas you can Anna, you have some wonderful abilities and you are very quick to learn 😊

What a beautiful wreath. What are those cotton looking picks?
Your attic space is coming along nicely. Are you going to use “can” lights (recessed in the ceiling)? Thanks, Anna!
Thank you! No built in lamps this time.. 🙂
❤❤❤
You need dry wall tape on the joints, the fiberglass tape i thought was easiest. To prevent cracks.
