im not sure if anyone is interested but the music at the start of numb is from a band called the mountain goats and the name is "No children" and the song in passing is also by them. their entire album "the sunset tree" is really good and I recommend you listen to it at least once.
God that just hit me.... blobtera was actually happy to go Caroling. It's her dream since ahe was a child to sing wirh her family. clay didnt even know that. He just ruined that dream of hers by shoving in her face an affair ON CHRISTMAS of all days. An affair qith her past lover who left her. She actual wanted orel there. she wanted to be a family.
you missed in the shooting episode. morel is a deadeye shot now. his innocence and excited are dead. he keeps shooting his fathers bottles of liquor. he isnt doing that by mistake. he knows he will hit his intended target, which is why he refuses to shoot the animals on the trip
On the topic of you discussing your personal life. There's nothing wrong with being open and relating yourself to the very thing that links you and your viewers and sharing it. It creates a genuine view we have of you. I personally have seen moral Orel a few times but have strictly been watching it through your channel to experience your reaction and feelings to the show. So thank you for sharing how as a person you appreciate and value the emotions and how they connect and relate to you it gives the show more life.
If nobody else has told you yet, the parts with the super quiet music/bad audio quality is copyright stuff. The actual episodes had proper, clean sounding music.
While I don't love Bloberta, I don't think she's fully the reason Clay is the way he is. She manipulated him for sure, and is awful in her own right, but his decisions are his own. Clay is the one to beat his son and everything else. She didn't make him shoot Oral. They're both terrible people.
Though, and I'm still agreeing with you. If she didn't do what she did then Clay would've probably just been a self destructive man rather than a life destructive man
1:11:20 yeah, that’s a real and fairly common trauma response for victims of sexual trauma. it’s their brains preventing them from facing the full truth of what happened and subconsciously attempting to justify what they went through, coupled with a sort of arrested development from their trauma. the guilt paired with these desires is also common as the conscious brain is aware that what happened was wrong, and is confused at these “crossed wires” so to speak.
There's also something to be said about how she was a virgin before because of the expectation that you save yourself for your husband. Total repression, no chances to explore a perfectly natural desire without facing social repercussions. Hell, she might've even lost her job as a teacher if word got around. But then suddenly there's a serial rapist on the loose. Someone who could take her virginity by force. Someone she could experience sex with without the same consequences. He's a rapist, after all, he would've done it whether she wanted it or not. And if she does it under the pretense of using herself as bait to help catch him? Suddenly it's a noble sacrifice. A valid, virtuous reason in the eyes of her community. But even if part of her wanted it to happen, for whatever reason, it doesn't exactly make what he did any less traumatic for her. Rape is rape, and it's horrifying and violent and painful. But its especially conflicting and confusing when to a degree it still feels good, and especially since that's the first time she's experienced ANY of that. So she fights with herself between leaving the door unlocked or not. Questions whether she wants to feel it again. Grieves for the man who forced himself on her. It was her only chance to feel those things without sabotaging her whole life. And now she will never get that chance again. God I fucking love the storytelling in moral orel. So dark, so good at exposing the unpleasant results of a culture built on repression and conformity, so effective at conveying complex emotions without necessarily telling us directly.
1:09:40 Yes, it's a highly illegal, and immoral thing to do but if you can find a back alley doc they can do anything for the right price. Legal removal of the ovaries but not the womb is sometimes used to help with ovarian cysts that can be life threatening to the woman, and if pregnant baby too.
33:49 Bro that’s not hell. Orel is literally inside His own heart (red & blood). Where Your soul is truly at. So as He was seeking God, there was no one except Him. The glow was His heart being jumper-cabled. Why do you think the paramedics & medics use defibrillators on patients’ mid section of the chest. (Where the heart/soul is)
Also I feel like the whole ending with him going back in the church was originally a realization that he didn’t need church to pray. That his body was a church in a sense and just being alive was enough to pray. Then getting hit just slowly removed that idea from him, returning it to just the church.
Moral Orel has changed my perspective on life and you know what, im thankful for it. It's made me grow and realise how not everyone is a nice person in the world and that I need to try and stay optimistic through it all. And this fact has definitely made me a bit happier now. I'm glad I watched Moral Orel 😊
Also in that episode where they are singing the hate jesus song reverend putty says "maybe the MAN OF THE HOUSE DO THEIR JOB" hinting how clay runs the town
Honestly I think the Hunting Trip episode really hits especially with a dad who has a drinking problem after my parents marriage fell apart. And hearing how Clay talks, what he says, how he talks to Orel is really reminiscent of my dad. And I realized although our circumstances are different there was an event that changed my view of my dad. I tolerated his drinking and his behavior for a good while until that one night. After that my parents are really just people that procreated for me to exist. I still love them, as much as I'm able to love them after everything. So that hunting trip scene really reminds me of the nights where he drank so much he started ranting about how he should've died in that Cambodian jungle, and such. And Bloberta's words just, hit me in a way never thought possible. My dad's a good person and a good dad. I just hate how self destructive and temperamental he can get.
2:14:31 "I'm sorry for talking so much about my own life." Don't apologize for that. If I just wanted to watch Moral Oral with no interrupts I'd go do just that. Your input and experiences are both appreciated and what makes videos like this fair use, so don't apologize for that. Subbed.
I kinda find it cute seeing blowburta and Oral singing together, after seeing him sing in the play. To me it kinda makes my brain go “aww he got that from his mom- let’s hope he doesn’t get his dads alcoholism… oooh wait.”
I watched every individual video you posted as they came out and now I’m watching them all again in this video. I’m so glad I discovered you and I want to thank you for getting me back into this amazing show. I feel like I relate to you on a lot of things and we both got emotional at the same scenes. I’m looking forward to the next series you chose to cover. I appreciate you CeeJay :-)
The fact that this was one of the first things you reacted to in full on the channel. I'm sad that it was cancelled, the show was really enjoyable to watch with you Congrats on your channel achievements btw, you deserve it
This is the show that I'm saddest about getting cancelled. Nowdays there's a number of cartoons that tread the line between depressing and funny, it was too ahead of it's time to keep going :( This show walked so Bojack Horseman could run.
2:44:28 me and my friend had a theory on why Clay was acting like this in this scene, egging on everyone specifically the men into a fight. And we realized that when his Father hit him he took it as a sign of love and affection as twisted as it sounds. His whole rant leading up to this was about how someone you care for that you desperately want to keep for yourself because you’re scared that one day that person or thing will disappear. In this scene you can take it as; parental love (Clay and his dad or Clay and his son), marriage love (Clay and bloberta) or the affair (Clay and Stopframe) all of which Clay is becoming toxic in. First he did a “prank” on his parents in which his mom passed and his father went to hit him then stopped and uttered “Your not even worth it”, then it was him and Bloberta meeting and she forced him into drinking but once he got “distracted” by others she hit him and “helped” him. Then it was possibly the affair with/or meeting of Coach Stopframe that lead to him realizing that he was either gay or bisexual, but in my opinion it seemed like this was the first true relationship that he had that was meaningful and real love in away. Then finally, his relationship with his son, Orel, in someways he is giving Orel the childhood he had but in others he is hindering him. With all of these relationships he is abusing something, whether it be emotional, physical, power or just plain old insecurity, Clay is just trying to take control and have someone show him they care. Unfortunately for him, it seems that is only by his getting beat down physically or emotionally in the process. 3:14:10 for one it’s sad that Clay did love someone more than himself and when he was finally able to really express how he feels it was too late. Clay’s self destruction had already effected every relationship that he had and there was no turning back. The worse part is he genuinely seemed happy with Coach Stopframe, and I feel like if Bloberta hadn’t met Clay maybe he wouldn’t have been as self destructive? BUT, when he said “I love you” to Coach Stopframe and Bloberta’s immediate reaction was anger and wanting to pull the attention away from the situation as well as keep Clay from saying anymore just shows how much control she wants. She didn’t want to marry an alcoholic she wanted to marry a timid man like her father someone easy to control and manipulate. 3:15:42 It’s honestly great that Orel gets his happy ending, but I wish they would make a reboot of the show or not even that to just continue on with more of the story because in the 30 minute special it goes into his relationship with his grandfather but I wish that it was explained more in the show itself. IM SO SORRY THIS IS LONG
I sincerely appreciate you covering the series. The emotional power of this show has had me think about and re watch more times than I care to admit. Then within the past year or two getting into the MST3000-esk content, this was one of the number one shows I always thought deserved a commentary as such. You are giving the show the credit and it deserves.
My G, for being a brother that struggled in school (same age group and had the same problems in school) you're really chill and awesome! Also, the zerba bit. Zebras stay in packs and hide together, she doesn't feel like she fits in around others while being fat so she has zebra things to feel like she blends in.
Almost finished watching this and it's been amazing! Yes it will be sad that there's no more moral orel but thank you for the fun journey of this show! :D
The yellow stains on the pillow almost definitely alcohol seeping out when he drools and staining the pillow, plus with his smoking it would stain his mouth causing yellowed saliva
1:09:37 yes, there are many surgeries, and I’m pretty sure you can also do like a C-section type thing to get them removed… (I’m no doctor, but I am an honor roll, so…)
Thank you CAJ for making this series, I originally got into it due to spilling the milk, but I love being able to hear opinions and things of the sort while watching, it would be awesome to convert the shorts into a full video with all the footage. With the music in numb, it was chosen to reflect blaburta and clay’s relationship, it’s called no children, by the mountain goats (I think,). You should do helluva boss, or theater class by Brandon roggers, that would be amazing, I hope to see more uploads in the future. (Sorry if this is all over the place I’m sick and it’s 1:30 am lmao)
Adult Swim to Moral Orel: Wow! Season One was a hit, we want MORE craziness! This is the kinda show we're looking for! WOW! Season TWO was WILD!!! GIVE US MORE! MORE CRAZINESS AND CONTROVERSY! Ok... So Season three was just not what we're looking for, it's too dark and wild for our channel.
❤ this is a wonderful video thank you for sharing it for everybody they need to understand that people go through a lot of horrible things in their lives always family that makes up for it
I think the episode “innocence” serves to show the regular episodes’ format from outside perspectives. Sure it’s a little bit of a filler but I think it shows the dichotomy of how Orel views his shenanigans and how “innocent” he is va how the adults around him views him. Idk just my perspective
1:42:53 I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet but there is actually meant to be music in this intro, if i remember correctly, it was meant to play Old College Try by The Mountain Goats, but a lot of Moral Orel reuploads had to deal with copyright and take it out - assuming you're watching the show on YT, if so I'm pretty sure i know which creator you're watching. Also, for the second where Ms. Secondopinionson said "Why should I tell you anything? I'm not your mum" in the episode 'Dumb', that was less of an excuse but more of a joke, calling back to what Joe constantly said, flipping his words back on him before a wholesome moment
I don’t know if anyone talks about this, but this is a pretty good analytic that I’m not sure if TH-cam gives you but your TH-cam shorts were very engaging and actually drew me in to watching the full video from just a couple TH-cam shorts I’ve seen over over the past few days
11:58 Cee slowly doing into insanity watching Moral Orel 😂😂😂😂😂 same here bro😂😂 and when he just went to the back of the room and screamed the thing oh not taking Clays BS I laughed so hard 😂😂😂 always puts a smile on my face watching your videos man thanks for that ❤
On my first watch through i didnt notice the pictures in the background at the end of the series. It makes me so happy that the two very neglected, very misunderstood children look happy and became a firefighter and police officer.
I remember watching moral orel at 13/14 on adult swim. back than i was just watching something like south park but god damn, its so dark and has so many deep meanings. i like this season, so sad to know there won't be more. anyways i loved your takes about this show!
so the thing with people getting SA and then going onto craving it actually is real its something like Stockholm syndrome but not exactly victims of brutal SA at a young age sadly semi often try to reexperience there trauma as someone who sadly went through this 1:11:13 at a young age its really sad and Real. I'm of course better now but when i was a kid i often attempted to put myself in dangerous situations with adults Because of what was done to me
@@CeeAyeJay I am doing better thank you appreciate the concern it's just something people don't talk about nearly enough and many times people don't even realize that it's something wrong or out of the normal for themselves and it can lead to people growing up like the teacher.
@@SoulshadeVr101 I really hope my commentary didn't make you feel offended. I really didn't know things like that could happen when being SA. I hope you have a great rest of your day, Soul.
@@CeeAyeJay not offended at all its good for people to actually ask questions like that because its a subject that does not get nearly enough attention but effects many peoples lives
Am I the only one still waiting on the 30 minute special.... This was one of my favorite shows back in the day and I didn't know there was a 30 minute special till I started watching this guy's videos
Upon rewatching i realized how clay really was made to be a monster before he was even born. His mother was an obsesive alcoholic, he has been getting drunk from the womb. Thats why its so hard for him to imagine a life where he is not an alcoholic, the adiction has been forced into every cell of his body.
1:16:27 Muzzle discipline! Orel multiple times points DIRECTLY at doughy, clay and his own face MULTIPLE TIMES. I can't explain why i saw this instantly and knew it was deliberate.
Same Cee, and you know what? I just got done watching this in its entirety, and now I’m ready to fall asleep to it. This is really awesome that you did this. You’ve definitely got my sub and my views. (The next 10,000 will be from me lol)
@mre6463 yes. The crease in his pants on the back of his knee proves it. He definitely has a boner there, but that is the pose of a man trying to hide a boner. I saw it enough times in high school I'd know it anywhere.
Explanation:clays mom was so happy that clay didnt die that she felt so happy her body or gas umed and due to her having a weak heart her body couldnt handle it and she dide
okay, i didn't realize this until now but when commentary channels mention a detail about a clip they just watched, they usually play it again bc most people pay attention to different things (and likely most viewers were looking at something different than they were) and i thought it was just to lengthen the video but I've had to go back and rewatch a bunch of this as you talk because you don't add that replay and i don't know what you're talking about 😂😂
It's really a shame that the audio was so messed up for Dumb, because the song that plays during that episode really adds to the emotional gutpunch. Oh and it happened again with Help. I'm guessing the music was muted due to copyright or something.
First lol, but seriously, it makes me sad to see this show go, but at least it my birthday! 🎉🎊🥳

God: BRO STOP.
I had to do a quadruple take when I saw the length of the video. Cant wait to crank out my assignment to 3 hours of the GOAT 🐐
1:46:07 Freud also thought that all women were subconciously sexually attracted to their dads. He was also addicted to cocaine.
Without morel orel opening up that door of real life topics mixed with dark humor and comedy i wonder if bojack would be as loved as it is today
11:30 ish of course, Clay the ULTIMATE GASLIGHTER
1:53 he learned from the master of gas lighting😂
Almost finished watching this and it's been amazing! Yes it will be sad that there's no more moral orel but thank you for the fun journey of this show! :D
Clay is just so pathetic. It’s clear that he wants someone to kill him, because he’s too weak to do it himself
The yellow stains on the pillow almost definitely alcohol seeping out when he drools and staining the pillow, plus with his smoking it would stain his mouth causing yellowed saliva
Nurse bendy dyed her hair so now it's blonde
1:09:37 yes, there are many surgeries, and I’m pretty sure you can also do like a C-section type thing to get them removed… (I’m no doctor, but I am an honor roll, so…)
Thank you for this series. I really really appreciate your content man🙏
Thank you CAJ for making this series, I originally got into it due to spilling the milk, but I love being able to hear opinions and things of the sort while watching, it would be awesome to convert the shorts into a full video with all the footage.
Adult Swim to Moral Orel:
Wow!
"Because she never cared about you" damn that was sad
yayyyy! Even though the show is basically over it’s nice to rewatch this season
I don’t know if anyone talks about this, but this is a pretty good analytic that I’m not sure if TH-cam gives you but your TH-cam shorts were very engaging and actually drew me in to watching the full video from just a couple TH-cam shorts I’ve seen over over the past few days
I will only skip it cause I've already watched all of your videos. Coming back to it later tho👍
All good! I normally watch long videos like these when I go to bed, just as a background sound.
I like how you just react to stuff especially with emotions so good job homie!
When you said death, I unlocked the old memory
I remember watching moral orel at 13/14 on adult swim. back than i was just watching something like south park but god damn, its so dark and has so many deep meanings. i like this season, so sad to know there won't be more. anyways i loved your takes about this show!
so the thing with people getting SA and then going onto craving it actually is real its something like Stockholm syndrome but not exactly victims of brutal SA at a young age sadly semi often try to reexperience there trauma as someone who sadly went through this 1:11:13 at a young age its really sad and Real. I'm of course better now but when i was a kid i often attempted to put myself in dangerous situations with adults Because of what was done to me
I'm so sorry to hear that, Soul. I really hope you're doing better today.
55:58 They did, in fact, do that in the Bible.
Am I the only one still waiting on the 30 minute special.... This was one of my favorite shows back in the day and I didn't know there was a 30 minute special till I started watching this guy's videos
moral orel video essays have my heart ❤️❤️
1:56:51 the fifth commandment says “thou shall not kill” the sixth commandment is “thou shall not commit adultery”
"I need to find some innocent blood."
I can't even write a joke here
Thank you for making a compilation of one of my favorite seasons in all of television. You’ve earned yourself a subscriber.
Thats a fucking tongue twister "More moral orel"
Upon rewatching i realized how clay really was made to be a monster before he was even born. His mother was an obsesive alcoholic, he has been getting drunk from the womb. Thats why its so hard for him to imagine a life where he is not an alcoholic, the adiction has been forced into every cell of his body.
I LOVE morel Orel I wish it didn’t got cancelled
Same. I hope we get a reboot not gonna lie.
I say, we all start a cult to get more episodes of moral Orel
I love watching your videos you genuinely love making me watch these videos you make reaction videos actually special
My most feared way of dying is alone, I don't want to be alone when I go, I would like for someone to be by my side
1:16:27 Muzzle discipline! Orel multiple times points DIRECTLY at doughy, clay and his own face MULTIPLE TIMES. I can't explain why i saw this instantly and knew it was deliberate.
1:56:14 that’s a Colt M1911A1 .45 pistol from ww2
just what i needed this sunday i can’t ever get enough Moral Orel
I really hope the creaters have the opportunity to finish this masterpiece 🙏
so the nurse is taken advantage without liking it, the second one liked it even if it's forceful, and the third one wants to get it?
Ain’t it weird that he reaaaaaally liked that scene with moral naked
I now don’t need to watch the playlist for my background noise when I draw, clean, or just chilling 🥺I thank you
I play long videos like this when I fall asleep. Just to use as background noise.
Same Cee, and you know what? I just got done watching this in its entirety, and now I’m ready to fall asleep to it. This is really awesome that you did this. You’ve definitely got my sub and my views. (The next 10,000 will be from me lol)
Im gonna miss the moral orel videos but i cant wait to see what you make next
I love the way you put in effort and care in your commentary and being very relatable!
Settling in with my coffee cause I know this video's gonna be a good one!
I love coffee! Always have a cup of coffee before I record.
@@CeeAyeJay Coffee is one of life's simpler pleasures lol 😌
Yea, a video compilation of season 3. Sweet, thank you, Jay (If thats your name idk)
20:59 uhhh... that's his knee, bro
You sure? 🤨
This was the best thing to watch at work! Also learned your from wisco!!! Same man!!! Keep up the great content!
okay, i didn't realize this until now but when commentary channels mention a detail about a clip they just watched, they usually play it again bc most people pay attention to different things (and likely most viewers were looking at something different than they were) and i thought it was just to lengthen the video but I've had to go back and rewatch a bunch of this as you talk because you don't add that replay and i don't know what you're talking about 😂😂
56:01 are you saying you don’t casually just have lamb’s blood in your house
It's really a shame that the audio was so messed up for Dumb, because the song that plays during that episode really adds to the emotional gutpunch.
Oh and it happened again with Help. I'm guessing the music was muted due to copyright or something.
