    “Find which ever glue works for you - and STICK with it”, that’s Gold, and you didn’t even add a “Boom Tish!” for effect. 😀😀

    Enjoyed the comparison. I have not seen the Tamiya White at my normal locations. Where is it sold?

    Thanks for the review. I like the thin cement glues like those sometimes but, they are useless on painted parts and, usually just make a gooey mess (in case any newbies were wondering). After years of experimenting I pretty much use BSI Insta Cure + for 99% of all my gluing. (IMO) You can get much better painting results, and add a lot more detail to small parts, when you can glue them "after" they are painted. Dont get me wrong.. the thin capillary glues are great for bare parts and definitely have a place...... but like I said...

    Oooo!!! Now that was interesting.
    I can see real uses for that, especially for us old fuckers that can't see shit anymore.
    Awesome!! Thank Bret.

      Thanks for watching Mike, that was my thought as well. I can't see the clear glue as well as I used to!

    Good idea with the longer brushes.Yeah my Tamiya thin brush doesn’t extend very well either buddy.

      Thanks for watching and I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues extending Tamiya's brush!

      Mine always slips back in too. A piece of metal rod or thick wire would do the trick I guess.

    Thanks for sharing Brett. On the subject of the SPB, what if the kit is made of black plastic?... I'll go get my coat!!

      @@Simonize41 I expect AK will release a range of real color glues, one for Wermacht, one for RAF, one for USAF, one for IDF, one for cars,one for bikes, one for interiors.. oh and then there'll be the "Faded real color glue" range.

    I just tried something.. I put a couple of drops of XF1 in my TET. It does the same job!!

    • @highaltitudescalemodeling9528
      @highaltitudescalemodeling9528  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd be concerned about the reaction between the paint and glue though, remember what happens when you put TET on a painted surface, it rubs away the paint.

      @@highaltitudescalemodeling9528 I wonder if food coloring or some kind of ink or dye would do the same?

    Ok, I only have 24hrs a day. I have a few hobbies and I prioritise 3 others over model building and I might build 2 models a year so I don’t want to spend hundreds or even thousands of bucks into it and get head deep into all the numerous nuances, details and variety of things just yet BUT I want to build a quality model and enjoy the process so I need a professional advice which glue or 2 I need to get that will serve me perfectly fine without hundreds of other ones.

    I still think CA is better since they dry faster than any of them.
