I had low fuel pressure on my 02 Silverado and before I dropped the tank a friend suggested changing the fuel filter first... The filter was plugged... Didn't have to change the pump... Yeah Buddy!
Purchased a similar truck brand new in 1996, extended cab, short bed in teal. My dad had a 1988 extended cab, long bed, two tone baby blue and white. Awesome driving trucks.
i owned my 1998 gmc c1500 3rd door loaded z71 ,only work i have done , 2nd fuel pump ,made a easy door in the bed =) .also did a full front end tie rods ,ball joints.
If it hasn't sat for at least a couple decades and doesn't have points or a carb, I feel like Will It Run videos are kinda bland. When EFI became mainstream, it pretty much eliminated a lot of breakdowns and driveability issues. But with it came a host of added complexities like in-tank fuel pumps, scan tools and learning how to properly diagnose problems rather than just throwing parts at it. Anyway, I guess those videos will become less common as the supply of barn/field finds dry up. I miss my youth.
I hear ya but I’ve had plenty of breakdowns in my ‘93 TBI dually. lol. This era is an interesting one since they utilize OBD1 ports and most people did not hang on to their bricks to read codes.
I seen on your shirt you guys were in bunnel Florida isn't that kinda close to the freedom factory well I'm just saying that cause cleetus bought all there old police vehicles so it has to be somewhat close
so satisfying when you throw parts at a old truck and they actually solve the problem! great video!
“I have a couple spare coils from the dually” 😅 I felt that comment. Another great video man
Every man needs a beater truck. As long as it's a Chevy!
Josh, he needs the 88-94 bumper filler for that grille, it bolts to the bottom of the grille
