- Ol Puddin decided it was time to let go of his old squarebody dually so I jumped at the chance to own his very own "Oklahoma Lullaby"! He said it was road ready but I decided to put tires on it before the trip and we also found a few other things he wasn't aware of and addressed them before our 1200 mile journey toting a loaded trailer! I had the '93 4wd version of this truck. I got it in a combination with a 4 horse Featherlite gooseneck trailer.
It would get between 11-12 mpg. in mostly hwy. commuting.
I thought that was pretty good for a 454.
It was a NICE hauler/work truck. But, I'm a Cummins man so it went down the road.
If you let the 454 breathe correctly and add a geardrives 2 speed to it it helps a ton. Yours did great for a 4th though.
It was really nice of you to help that couple with their flat. I'm also a firm believer in carma. Not just that but it's also just the right thing to do.👍 Buy the way I noticed that Dan was rockin one of your shirts in his video so maybe people will understand that you guys don't actually hate each other even though it does make for good content. This was a fun little series with Puddin and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you're gonna keep this rig. Google the power window relay mod. It helps take the load off the tired old window motors, helps quite a bit. Works even better if you install new motors on all 4 doors.
This one was epic, you and puddin are the best, and the rest of the crew in Oklahoma. Slick ,Charlie and Bill and the old truck guy, the entertainment was fantastic over 2 hrs I love it I grew up in okc in the 60s one of my best friends lives in Tecumseh. And he raves or the taco boy

Dually conversions has hundreds of those hips for the chevy dually’s. I use them all the time.
Pretty sure the State Trooper was impressed and suprised that truck and trailer were doing over 90mph on the freeway! Super cool he cut you some slack and reduced the ticket. Those 90 and 91 Squarebody Duallys are the best of the generation. Fuel Injected, overdrive transmission and a great look!
