      No he isn’t, he’s not better than Ali, he’s not better than Foreman, and he’s definitely not better than prime Tyson. The Tyson that found Lennox Lewis was high on weed, cocaine, he barely had any sleep, and he had been neglecting his training for a long time. 20-22 year old Tyson would’ve 100% won that fight.

    • @tron1007r
      @tron1007r หลายเดือนก่อน

      @unknownplite I love when you guys believe in people more than they believe in themselves. It's cute. It's like suspension of disbelief.
      Tyson said with his own mouth he has never been a match for Lennox. Even at 16 years old. Cuss, his trainer, agreed, he was the one who sponsored the week long training camp.
      It matters not.
      What matters is, you support, a cocaine user, a wife beater, a rapist (maybe even though he was convicted, maybe he was lied on), an ear biter, with no real honor in the sport over a guy with a better record, why because he wasn't American?
      I actually like Tyson, but come on... I see why everyone bandwagons Ali. Tyson has shown he is a complete nut case, like Trump, but he is still loved by so many... I just don't get.
      The facts are... Lennox has a better record. It can not be changed.

      @@tron1007r I don’t support who he was in the 90’s or the early 2000’s. He was surrounded by bad people. I don’t believe he was ever a rapist or a wife beater. The judge himself said he wouldn’t have convicted him after learning more about the case. His wife was just after his money. But that doesn’t matter. I support who he was in the 80’s, and who he is now.
      Lewis is definitely one of the greatest fighters of all time, but I still don’t think he would beat Tyson in his prime. The Tyson that he fought was a completely different fighter. It had been a decade and a half since had really focused on fighting like he did in his prime. He lost almost all of his technique, his power, everything. He was also on a lot of drugs, and was dealing with numerous personal issues at the time. He was in no shape to fight. You just can’t compare those two versions of Tyson.
      I’m not saying any of this out of lack of respect for Lewis, or respect for the version of Tyson that fought Lewis. I just simply believe that Lennox Lewis is not the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time, and that Mike Tyson at 22 years old would have beaten him.

    Tyson is a legend, but y'all banboys keep throwing excuses to get him in the GOAT conversation.

      I don't see a lot of them throwing excuses for that. People are rather amazed by the fact that Tyson didn't make any excuse for his loss.

    Tyson was exciting to watch with power and skills in his younger years,,, it all started to go pear-shaped when he left Rooney,,,,it's always funny to read posts saying about Tysons prime ,,, they never say what years we're his prime or the best opponents he beat in his prime,,,,realistically he was beaten in his prime and when he fought decent opponents he lost,,,, his best wins were against Ruddock
