The great thing about this version of Tyson is that he didn't rely on one punch knockout power. He put together combinations to put away opponents and it was far more effective. While Holmes was obviously past his prime, he was still too smart to knocked out by just one big punch. But Tyson at his peak was throwing incredibly fast and strong punches in combos. This is why Holmes has said that Tyson wasn't the biggest puncher he'd ever faced but he was certainly the sharpest big puncher, he'd ever faced.
