I and a few other boxing fans have a theory here in South Africa, that the tyson "rape" charge was a bull shit story and it was put in place in order to get Mike Tyson out of the boxing scene for a while so the other heavyweights could get a bit more spotlight time, and the managers and promoters of the other heavyweight boxer could make some cause all the attention and money was going to tyson, but to be honest, Before tyson went to prison right, he was unstoppable, lewis, holyfield ect none of them wanted anything to do with tyson, tyson went down hill booze drugs ect messed even more so with tysons head.

Mike was a combination puncher. Almost everyone he beat he knocked down 5/6 times and stopped by ref. Most dangerous puncher ever no way. And Tyson himself has discussed this. Shavers Foreman Liston would literally KO a guy with 1 punch. Tyson had to throw with devastating speed and combinations once that went he got beat easy.
