I realised yr ingredients mentioned chickpeas, pls do correct it, it's urad dhal or ulunthu in Tamil. Again kadela paruppu is not chickpeas, it's channa dhal. Chickpeas in Tamil is kondakadelei. Pottu kadelei is roasted Bengal Gram. All grams have different names and for 1st time cooks, it can be confusing although there are visuals which are helpful. Btw, yr cooking method is pretty easy to understand.
