These didn't last long last night! I made them as an appetizer for my cookie exchange party! 2 bags of potatoes, gone in less than 5 minutes...! I bet I've made 6-8 of your recipes in the last month! Never disappointed! Keep up the great work, and always being so entertaining! Love you guys!

A friend of mine introduced me to Sam's channel a few years ago, at a time when I was pretty burned out on cooking. The first few episodes I watched were pretty straight forward, but the more I went down the rabbit hole I quickly learned that Sam is a man after my own heart. From not eating the same thing all the time to transforming leftovers in interesting ways. I've not missed an episode in over three years now and I have recreated his recipes multiple times, often putting my own spin on things. I now love to cook again and have even gotten into smoking meats because seeing Sam cook outside looked so enjoyable!

These mini hasslebacks look like the perfect appetizer for a holiday cocktail party!!! They would go great w/ teriyaki steak bites! Can't wait to make them!
Longtime restaurant employee here. These are definitely acceptable as an appetizer. I can’t believe Sam didn’t mention poutine in his argument. Max is accurate with potatoes most commonly being a side to a lot of beef entrees. I think vegetarians would gladly make a meal of these.

I work 10 hours a day at a factory. Labor intensive stuff.
I get home, shower, grab a cold beer and instantly put your streams on. It's my way of taking a deep breath, getting a few laughs and usually learn some new technique or recipe that I didn't know.
You Max and Chance keep doing what you do.
You make people's lives a whole lot better.

The Evo grill is the absolute coolest kitchen item ever. It's like a huge cast-iron pan. I never heard of it until I found Sam's channel. I definitely need to get one at some point. It looks so satisfying to use.
It's pricey, but Cuisinart makes a more affordable alternative fwiw

Just perfect! Hasselbacken is a place in Stockholm, were that potato dish was founded, around 1953. Usually served with steaks and sauce. Great to see Sam taking the hasselback potato to a new level!

My family has been making hasselback potatoes every dinner party, since I can remember. I'm so excited to try these out they look amazing. Any potato dish can count as an appetizer when they get enough attention and care that they deserve. Potatoes are awesome!

Made this dish with the spiral cut cherry bourbon glazed ham. It was so delicious. I love watching your videos. Im sure i was one of the first to order the cast iron pan... got it fifteen minutes after the video announcing its release was released. It my favorite/go to pan.

Hi Sam. Long time subscriber and viewer. We love your channel and the interesting interactions of you and Chance and Max. Most importantly we love the recipes. We have tried a number of them with great results. Every once in a while you go deep into weirdness with a recipe, but 97.6% of the are great!
The Mini Hasselback Potatoes are an anytime I fell like eating them dish. Perfect as a side dish, appetizer or perfect small dish, especially served along side with those Finger Steaks you made on Monday. I can't wait to see what you make on Friday!
