This is a band with very profound lyrics and lots of "feels." They also have such loyal fans and share mutual respect between Tyler and Josh with their fans. Welcome to the Twenty One Pilots rabbit hole. The song that got me started was Car Radio, and then I couldn't get enough. Sometimes it helps to see the lyrics before listening. They are touring right now, see if they will be by you soon. They are by me in a week.

Car Radio!!! Lane Boy!! Live version of Trees! I was at the first concert of the icy tour on the 18th. Best live performance I've ever experienced. The vibe, the visuals, I can't even describe how amazing it was!
Now you're getting to their real meaningful stuff!! The hits are great but once you get passed their.3 or 4 most popular songs you really start to get an idea of what this group is all about. So much passion, deep meaningful lyrics, and every song sounds different! They are incredible
Great music hits you in the soul. Twenty One Pilots entire catalog gives me feels. They are so good live. I left that concert feeling so good, so amazing. Tyler's vocals and writing just takes you there and Josh's drumming hammers it home. By far one of the best bands ever

This is one of the songs that got me hooked on TOP. Tyler's got one of those voices that you can just *feel* every emotion. It's perfect in its imperfection. It is an amazing voice.
But definitely. Go down this rabbit hole. I beg you to please go down this rabbit hole. Their songs are HEAVY with meaning regarding mental health, depression, suicide, and anxiety, but also layered with hope and messages that live is worth living.
I would highly recommend just about anything off Vessel.

Just that easy Twenty One Pilots becomes SO MANY people's favorite band. They are WAY too good for just 2 people. Tyler is perhaps the most musical genius to live in hundreds of years. He songwrites, raps/sings and composes/plays/produces all the music EXCEPT the drums. Josh is easily one of the greatest drummers alive and actively playing today. The pair are unstoppable and they deserve all the success in the world with how much talent they share with us!

if u look into the lore behind their songs its shocking. for starters, this song is basically a guy calling out for help because hes having trouble saving himself. the driver of the car is blurryface, one of the villains in the lore of their music. blurryface is a representation of negative thoughts. when the car falls apart it symbolizes tyler being dragged out of his dark place by music. and the drummer ,josh dun, drumming in the middle of the road symbolizes how close hes getting to being hurt by tyler while tylers in a dark place, but josh doesnt care he is more determined to get his friend out of the car. the line "death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit" is a nod towards tylers creative process: how tyler puts himself in a negative mind set in order to make better music.
