Yo I just wanted to say I’ve been listening to them for years like 6 ever since I was like 9. And there music fr helped me go through so much. Losing loved ones friends, there music is fr life changing and I hope u really get into them as much as I did. Def listen to there older stuff to, but lane boy, jumpsuit, ride, goner live, trees live, holding onto you is such a good one, guns for hands, fairly local, choker, if u want to get into his own stuff he made when he was younger without being in the band he had a solo album called no Phun intended, drown is a good one off that. But I love seeing these it fr makes my day watching u react to anyone I love u

The short summary is the following: Tyler of TOP relates the songwriting process to chlorine. In small doses it cleans his soul but too much and it can be harmful, destructive to his mental state and life balance. Once his creativity (Ned) is ready to jump in the pool and "finish the song" his creativity grows - note the horns Ned grows while swimming - but it is short lived and once the energy is spent and the pool is drained no one wants even a sip of chlorine. The cycle has to start all over again with filling the pool *all the way up* before Tyler is satisfied and will release the song. A few earlier songs that will be great to check out are 'Holding on to You' (music video or Blurryface live version) and 'Trees' (Blurryface live). After that it may be a good point to start checking out the Trench trilogy picking up from the end of Heavydirtysoul.
