Just saw them live in Detroit on the 20th. Literally the best show I’ve seen live. These dude are true artist and put so much into their live show. Must do for any TOP fan.
I'm 54 and I have seen so many bands in concert and next to Queen Twenty One Pilots is truly the best band! Musical geniuses! They are great role models for younger crowds. They don't curse and they try to keep people from self harm. Ode to sleep offical and trees live at fox theater should be on your list!
he did really cut his hair - and at the end you saw his hair was back that's on purpose - showing that he puts his mask on to go out and face everyone, but when he takes off the mask, he's back to the depressed guy at the very beginning sitting on the bathroom floor
Oooh great reaction, please react to the Ode to Sleep music video and Trees live at the Fox Theatre! (I reccomend every song from the albums Vessel and Blurryface tbh) Twenty One Pilots have saved so many and helped many of us through hard times over the years with their music, myself included. (Guns for Hands and Migraine are also very good and have incredible lyrics)
I just saw TOP for the first time live on Sunday in Cincinnati and the amount of showmanship and energy that's produced just by Tyler and Josh is unbelievable! They performed this song cuz it's one of their most popular songs and the buildup to the part where Tyler screams, "and now I just sit in silence" is insane.
Before I saw them for the first time I had been to well over 100 concerts. Never had a favourite, just a top 10 list. The first and second time I saw them are firmly at 1st and 2nd favourite of all time!
@@jimhsfbay well i never insulted or something. but i see now that it maybe comes off rude. I'm sorry. it just was supposed to be a tip, warning or something like that because some might say "you aren't a real tøp fan" but i honestly don't really care. it's sad to know that there is this toxic side but i guess that's kinda normal in every fandom, some more, some less.
I have seen them 4 times. Just last night in Cleveland I took my 7 and 9 year old grandsons for their 1st concert. Outstanding live SHOWS EVERY TIME!!!!
Saw them in June in London. FIRE for sure!!! Best show EVER!!! Ode to Sleep will become a fave for you... Lane boy, also... Fairly Local... Heathens... Guns for hands.... Migraine.... there's so many!!!
anyone that suffered from depression and social anxiety, knows what tyler was talking about. this isn't about a literal car radio, he's talking about losing the noise in his mind. when someone takes away that sound that keeps your bad thoughts out, it can make you very vulnerable. thats why he said "i could pull the steering wheel"...he saying he could just crash (end his life).
I took my daughters to see 21 Pilots 4 1/2 years ago in Chicago. I was 51 at the time and have been to a lot of big time concerts over the years, but this was one of the best.
I was 46 when I first saw them. And same, I'd been to well over 100 concerts from big arenas to small venues, which are my favourite. I never had a favourite, just a top ten list. Now the first and second time I saw them are 1 & 2 on that top ten!
Music helps me get away from the chaos in my head. Don't sleep on Tyler's lyricism and flow. Next you need to do "Lane Boy". Yes sir. You'll like that.
They are one of those bands where the more u listen to it the next song will be your favourite song lol, same thing with NF for me, NF and TØP are my favourites
Great reaction! Welcome to the twenty one pilots rabbit hole! 🕳 🐇 It’s hard to pick favorite songs from this band. I agree with other recommendations to check out Lane Boy, Migraine, and Fairly Local next. Ode to Sleep is also a good video that shows their journey and commitment to their live shows, which is how they developed their fan base even before they got a record deal. The elements that pull you in to their music is: 1) their message - Tyler is a gifted lyricist and writes music to make people think, and he tackles some pretty serious topics, 2) their sound is so unique and they don’t conform to industry expectations (theme of Lane Boy). Tyler writes all their beats and instrumentation. Josh is a beast on the drums! The 2 of them together make magic. 3) their live shows have so much energy!! Tyler has said that the music is therapy but the live shows are a celebration. I just saw them in Detroit for The Icy Tour. It was an amazing show. If you have the opportunity to check them out live do it! To get more of a feel for their live shows you should check out “Trees - Live from the Fox Theater.” Then there is a whole other layer to uncover if you want to dig more into their message. After heavydirtysoul comes the Trench trilogy (Jumpsuit, Nico and the Niners, and Levitate - in that order).
Check out Ode to sleep or Migraine next, glad you're hooked man they're amazing, really meaningful lyrics that we can connect with, I saw them yesterday for the 2nd time and it was even better than the first time, really something to experience ! Music helps people so much me included, it's our therapy !! 🙌
For me the first time was a little better, although I was so in awe of the experience it's hard to pick out different moments. The 2nd time I was more acclimated so it was just so FUN!
It's so underrated just how amazing their crowd control is at live shows they asked the fans to do something and everybody wants to be involved I love that they put that in a lot of their music videos this was a sweet react bro
Love both, AND whole lot of different music from TOP.!! Need react FAIRLY LOCAL, good video. If no official videos for you, do live concert videos. They have great live concerts, actually sound great live. Thanks for reacting to TOP!
As a big Linkin Park fan since their inception I see a LOT of similarities between 21 pilots and Linkin Park in their message. Different generation and a very different sound but they both have very clear messages about self love (and hate) and both have a great range in sound.
Layers, man, lots and lots of layers. You're going to have more than 2 favorites from this band, guaranteed!! 💛💙💛 Sidenote- someone actually stole Tyler's car radio which inspired this song. His hair being back at the end represents the cyclical nature of dealing with our demons/thoughts/etc... you'll find lots of common themes throughout TOP's music, all expressed in diff ways. True artists. |-/
Tyler loves a metaphor but I actually laugh when this is one of the few times that it was straight up real 😹 “I liked it better when my car had sound.” But it’s amazing what he was able to take and create from being forced to deal with the silence and confront his thoughts.
This song got me out of hell man. I like to think of the meaning of it like the “car radio” is his thing in life that keeps him distracted from the darkness in his mind. And without it, those dark thoughts come crashing in
This is not my favorite TOP song. However I’ve seen them live 4 times now. 🙌 down my fav song live, by far!!! The way these two dudes control a crowd is insane! On par with the greats of crowd control.. think someone like Freddie Mercury. Every single person from the front to the back and way back in the nose bleeds has goosebumps during this song live. The echo of the crowd singing back to them , it blows my mind everytime. Keep expecting their show to be somehow less entertaining each time after the first but I’m convinced that they just never disappoint.
Get the most out of your music and plug in your phone, Bluetooth compresses your sounds and loses connection a lot, you get a free charge out of cable too haha
If you see someone with no reaction too sometimes quite it's violent. That means two things this person already heard the song or this person don't understand the meaning 🤷♂️
Can you do a reaction to an unknown artist by the name of BootBaby. I would like to see y’all do a reaction to See ya Later or Gimme ya Luv off of my new ep name Elevation. It’s not on this channel it’s on another one same name different profile picture. I’d appreciate it

i was just there
it was literally amazing
I saw them at the first stop in St. Paul. Contemplating driving to Kansas City to see them again lol
Was there too bro . The best concert
@@nickshulman3079 yeah it was amazing. Took my 2 sons (20 and 12) and we had an absolute blast. I actually got them into the band years ago.

Heard this song live for the first time at the MSG concert. Wow. Was blown away. The place went insane. Great performance.

Chlorine is a great song by Twenty One Pilots
Happy to see you checking out more.. I love car radio. I also recommend ode to sleep, guns for hands, fairly local, and migraine
"Fairly Local" by 21 Pilots is really good. It has a hip hop/rap feel to it as well.

Gotta do the Migraine video soon.. so many great lines in that song
Finally get to see them live tomorrow =)
Definitely got to do Lane Boy! Love 21 piolets!!!
Car Radio is one of my absolute favorites. I first heard it when I was going through some really hard stuff and it got me through.
Love watching people discover these guys. Lane Boy, Migraine, and Ode to Sleep next please!
I’ve seen them three times. By far the best live shows. The energy is completely electric in the room EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Rico, you got a dm from me in your IG general/requests bro ✌️
So I thought this song was about a stolen radio too. Turns out it's a metaphor for something deep and dark. This song here is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
It's technically both. He did have his radio stolen and realized how much he used music as a distraction, which led to the writing of this song
