- In this video, I'm headed to the Palms Resort and Casino to eat at Mabel's BBQ by celebrity chef Michael Symon. My friends and I try all sorts of offerings from their menu and in this video, I'll be sharing all of that food from appetizers to dessert with you.

The presentation is very nice. All of the food looked great, but the burger looked so good to me because of all the sesame seeds on the bun. I love sesame seed buns.

I have tried Binion's bbq and Ellis Island bbq my last few trips but will make Mabel's a visit next time. Great descriptive narration and filming, nice work Shin!!
I actually have not tried Binions BBQ yet. I'll have to check that out sometime. I do think Mabels is worth trying. Some of the most tender and juicy meats I've had in a while. Thanks for watching!

Another great one Shin keep them coming! I always loved Michael Symon never tasted his food but when I used to watch all those iron chef type shows he always beat everyone including Flay and others

Mabel's is great! Did the Raiders tailgate thing there several times. It's amazing how many good BBQ places we have now in this town.

Been there twice and enjoyed my meal both times. The ribs are tender and fall off the bone. I would have tried the cornbread if I was you because it's perfect. Great atmosphere and staff

We’ve been there. Food was ok but the service was horrible. Our server took forever and they weren’t very busy. An elderly lady next to us didn’t have any sauces at her table and no one would come by, so we shared our sauces with her.
Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear you had that experience. I get free meals at the Palms every two weeks from my gambling comps there and I frequent Mabel's often and I haven't had bad service so far. Maybe it was an off day for them. Thanks for watching!

It's such a good pasta! The little pockets of sauce are little treasures waiting for you. Love it!
I was with you until the "soy sauce umami" lol. Gotta say, it looked pretty good aside from the pulled pork! Pulled pork is never something I'd order because you can't let it sit. No matter what, it's always dry. I love a sauce selection at a bbq joint. If they don't have one, I'd order a drink and leave. Keep them coming my man! You do good work!
We're the same on the pulled pork, it's usually something I skip on because I often find it dry as well but we ordered as a group. I gotta admit, it was a lot more moist than I was expecting. Maybe we got a very fresh batch. I was very happy with the sauce choices as well. The KC and vinegar mustard sauce were my favorites. Thanks for watching Ed!

The nachos I'd go back for any day seriously. At $17, it's perfect for a quick snack with a friend or even a full meal honestly.

Yummy brisket nachos😊Pork belly super yum…the fatty brisket looks amazing…like the fact they have different flavors of sauces…I knew you would order the pork belly fried rice…wonderful review Shin! I'm a pretty glass half full kind of guy so I'm smiling pretty often. The nodding is something that just occurs naturally when I'm anticipating a certain flavor profile and then I mentally note my opinion to describe the food. Thanks for watching!

It wasn't bad but definitely my least favorite sauce of the 4. I'd rank them KC, mustard, green chile, then the spicy. It needed more heat honestly. Thanks for watching!

Great video! What's your monthly budget for your food tasting :)
I wouldn't really say I have any budget in mind. If a restaurant interests me, I'll go to review it. But as it stands, outside of a month I do a steakhouse or very high end upscale establishment, I'd say I spend roughly $350-$400 a month on videos. Thankfully, TH-cam income on its own covers a fair amount of that now so I probably only spend about $100-$150 of my own money a month nowadays. Thanks for watching!

6:31 - so far what i noticed is that all the meats are juicy, not dried out, with dry “crust” edges. the hubby and i like moist and tender, not leather. so, its looking good so far. ok, back to the video. :-)
Yes! The meats were incredibly juicy, even the pulled pork which I usually find to be pretty dry was moist. They did a great job at Mabels. Thanks for watching!

$16 for 6 wings YIKES
Wings have gottten crazy expensive here in my small town of western NC in the smokies. They are about 1.25-1.50 ea. so, I guess that hung vegas and more expensive…
I think it’s rediculous how expensive they are! And most places charge extra for celery or sont have any. The wind times have changed in america. Don’t know what’s going on there.
Right? I mean, I would even accept 8 wings to make it $2 a wing for that Vegas upcharge but 6 was a tough pill to swallow. I'd skip on that for sure next time. Thanks for watching!
Those wings might have tasted good, but the presentation was pathetic! If they aren’t going to give you a decent amount of wings, the least they can do is dress it up with some lettuce and carrots and celery
Great point! Literally tossed the wings on the tray and that was it. I'd actually even tell them to just use a smaller tray or plate. All the empty space on the tray just led to more of that "not worth it" feeling. Thanks for watching Keith
@@VegaswithShin they should just dress it up a bit. Make it look nice. They could even charge an extra 2 bucks, and I doubt anyone would complain. As it looks now, it’s an insult to their customers
