- We tried "The Pig Out" at Virgil's Real BBQ at the Linq Promenade in Las Vegas. For $59.95, we got Sliced Texas Beef Brisket, Memphis Style Pork Ribs, Carolina Pulled Pork, and a BBQ Half Chicken.

I love watching Derek eating fried chicken! He has access to steak, lobster, exotic expensive food but his love of one of my favorite foods makes me happy!
The 2 things I like about dining at a restaurant VS a buffet is, you can order and share everything, and you can take home leftovers 😎👍 Seems more cost effective 🤔
Way too expensive. The brisket looked really dry. I'll just keep going to Rolling Smoke, that or my backyard. I can smoke it up!! Thanks for the video.

Great job u guys, sorry the food didn't live up to the presentation🤦♀️. The cornbread looked overfried, ribs looked great, brisket looked ok. But baked chicken a no go. For ,$59.00 there should have been 2 slabs of ribs. But u guys did good. Next head to the hood u won't be disappointed!!!😂😂😂🥰🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️

Thank you for showing BBQ places. I will be trying some of them and will keep VIRGILS in mind for the ribs and fried chicken. Your videos are helping me to make decisions on where to eat while I am in Las Vegas. I enjoy watching you try different things but I end up hungry every time . I watch others videos of places to eat, but your videos are the best.

We had tried to eat here on 4 different occasions but wait was always too long. Finally, during one of my solo trips I was able to get in. Unfortunately my experience was much different. The ribs & brisket were sooo dry, the cornbread was hard enough it could have been used as a hockey puck. The only thing I could eat without breaking teeth was the Mac n cheese. From the looks of this, they are still serving dry meats. Brisket that dry should never be served!

Although you seemed to be a little disapointed with a couple of the meats, overall it looked really good... I think the trick is defo adding some of those sauces to the mix. The Jalapeno/mango really did look good. The fried chicked looked awesome, as did the ribs. Nice selection of sides too. I think you should of tried dipping the corn bread in those beans. Prices looked fair too, considering it is Vegas. It would be my sort of place. Happy New Year to you both.

Ricks rolling smoke bbq next to the pawn shop has the best beef ribs. Huge and tender. A must try.

That Crystal Hot Sauce is actually made in New Orleans. They have been around since 1923 (a hundred years this year). So for about a $100 ya'll really had a lot of food. I think 3 could have easily ate off of that. I loved how they had the different sauces and you could try them all out. I would definitely try that place while in Vegas. Great Job!

The Linq is a fun spot on the strip. Linq to Wynn is best part of strip. FUN!!!!
I wish you guys would do some of the Mexican restaurants around town. Especially those not on the strip.

That was my first thoughts as well, it didn’t rock my boat to be honest , but I love this couple .

You know who’s BBQ I really liked, when the Orleans buffet was called the French Market, the BBQ there was awesome 😎👍 When they changed the buffet to the newest one, the food wasn’t as good to me. 😒
They must sell a lot of beer there. All that dry meat and burned cornbread would make everyone so thirsty!
The price is reasonable for the strip and the food looked good.

I thought it looked overcooked too. Probably would have sent it back. Maybe it was pre-cooked and reheated. Shouldn't be like that for what it cost. The fried chicken did look good.

You can subtlety tell that Derek and Catherine truly didn’t like the Dry Tough BBQ ?.but like the Fried Chicken..I too notice how dry it was. And 100% Way over priced! Pass on Virgil’s ..I had Great BBQ during Memphis in May…Had Great Pulled Pork in Arkansas and Texas…

I used to work by the Virgil's in Times Square, NYC. I love their brisket and their dry rubbed ribs. Try the BBQ chicken wings appetizer next time. They are crack!

Have you been to the Virgil’s in Times Square? It’s a sister restaurant to the one in Vegas. It has the same foods and has been open since at least the 1990s. The company who owns that one also owns the famous Carmines there as well. Maybe it runs the Las Vegas location as well. Love the appetizer wings; They taste like possibly vinegar based barbecue. Didn’t go for the nachos though.
Was at this place during the NFR. YES some of the meats were over cooked and masked with massive BBQ sauce. I would not recommend this place. I am a Yelp Elite member too
The cornbread probably was made with cornmeal
