Thank you very much. This video, in addition to the subsequent two follow up videos, was immensely helpful in comparison to figuring out how to remove the door panel on my own. The door panel came off like a dream which allowed me to carve out the remnants of the broken door handle with a Dremel rotary tool, reattach the door panel and install the Love Handle your company offers. BRILLIANT!
    Thank you very much.

Now how do you actually remove the door lock switch off the panel to put onto the new panel??

I can’t open my door from the inside. It opens from the outside. People keep saying to make sure the door cable isn’t broken. It’s not. And it’s snapped in and hooked on.

To remove a manual window crank, you need to pull the plastic disc between handle and door, back a bit, away from the direction of the knob. A long strip of cloth is quite helpful.

I bought new door panels but they did not come with the switches for lights, gas, trunk etc. how can I remove the switches from the old door and install them in the new panels?

How do you get them back on without cracking the plastic? I'm replacing mine with some other used ones, and it's a 2003. The plastic is VERY brittle. Suggestions on getting them latched without creating enough pressure to crack them? (Learned the hard way how easy they crack when installing)

@@dieselgeekdotcom JB-Weld for the win! Thanks for the other suggestion too. I'll definitely look into other ways to reinforce backside. P.S. Still loving the first gear getter you guys sell. Saved me lots of money and work!
