@BuzZzKiller Has something changed to prevent this from working. After installing everything this does not work and the mining throttle is bound to the left slider on my dual T.16000s. Will this no longer work or is it possible to make it happen?
I've been doing surface mining with my mouse for the Fracture Mode to Extraction Mode but trying to maintain position while using the scroll wheel for either is nearly imposable. I also need to determine what and when the various markers are for (they change and/or disappear).
So I understand how you can map the left joystick up/down to the (Y-axis) to the Mining Throttle in Star Citizen keybindings, can't seem to get it to accept it with a modifier (I.e. axis when pressing a button), I getting either the axis or button set. What am I doing wrong ?
Looking at your stick layout, on the left stick, button "L" activates the modifier and the scroll wheel L increases and decreases the mining laser power. The right stick top hat has the mining mode button (push left). Contrary to the layout you don't use the scroll wheel on the left stick but have keybind the left stick strafe forward and backward movement to operate the mining laser to increases and decreases the power (with modifier active). How did you switch from Fracture Mode to Extraction Mode (push right)?
T'airn'KA 1. The joystick wheel acts more like two buttons. They are bound to the digital mining laser control while the joystick is bound to the analog. 2. Yes the “R” button switches mining mode.
Hi Sorry to be a Bother But How do you Set the left Stick Modifier = L-Alt . I did it in JoyToKey Button 3 But Nothing Happens stuck how to use modifier in star Citizen , hope you can help Thanks
1. Make sure JoyToKey and Star Citizen are both running as admin. 2. Make sure the correct joystick tab and button is lighting up in JoyToKey when you press the joystick button. 3. When you bind your joystick buttons in Star Citizen, it's easiest to use the keyboard Left-Alt + Joystick Button. That way the game doesn't get confused between L-Alt and Button 3.
@@BuzZzKiller Hi 1 I am the only operator on pc so I'm running as admin 2 yes the joystick Button lights up as button 3 & I've changed the joytokey to say L-Alt But nothing happens. I read that there was a problem with L-Alt with some peoples game not working in star citizen ? whats the difrens between L-Alt & R- Alt ? Hope you are keeping youre head down where ever you are ,cheers for the Help
@@wingman2472 Even if you are the only operator, the program needs to be set to run as admin. Right click on the short cut, and select properties. Go to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom select Run this program as administrator. Make sure you do the same for Star Citizen.

I'm using JoyToKey to map a joystick button to Left-Alt. That is my modifier. It can also be done in TARGET if you have a Thrustmaster joystick.

WHen i hit the modifier it stops throttle forward and back but I still strafe side to side. Any way to stop that?
Rebind the mining throttle to the slider. Just make sure you unbind the acceleration limiter.
What are you using to mount your joysticks to the desk?
I’m using the desk mounts from Virpil. MonsterTech also makes a set that has a quick release. I’m thinking of upgrading to them.
