This is possible because out of those 104 videos there are 5 videos with 2 lead singers, 3 videos with 3 lead singers, and 1 video with 5 lead singers (yes that's right, 'You Can't Make Old Friends').

@@billgrey if they put this on an album, I'm sure it will be. They do an amazing job recording outdoors, and if you haven't seen them live, you need to fix that. But you can't beet a studio for total control.
It’s more important than ever that we listen to quiet voices. Wise people rarely shout. But quiet voices do create a problem for sound engineers, especially in an outdoor location.
They are the gift that keeps giving with their rich and velvety arrangements, wonderful musicianship and personal presence. Love to see them tour Australia.
Heard you all last week in Branson...wonderful! Loved the concert...personal, yet very professional! And I had not heard of you before! Now listening to your many beautiful ballads on Utube! My husband was so pleased to hear you have Norwegian blood!
I don't know what it is, but there is something in those smiles that makes me smile every time. Thanks for taking me back to the sixties for a few minutes.
Julianne confidently driving the rhythm! (No dimples and eye rolling, or big sister to the rescue). I was not expecting la-la-la in this particular song, but the vocal harmony was great. I especially like how Katie's vocals float on top. The dobro entrance was cool. Matt's touch on the guitar excellent. Just my favourite bits.
Very nice and interesting arrangement. And Emmet's dobro in "dialogue" with Katie's fiddle is something special. Can't wait to see you live in Cologne again this year in August.
God blessed us with this family. Emmett is the Goat. I haven’t seen him since friendship/Washington Maine, circa 2000 (ish) thank you guys. For everything
Thank you SO much, The Petersens, with each note you play, your music's voice whispers a reminder to treasure the sheer beauty in the simplicity of every day. The world could use a little more sparkle, and you all are just the ones to provide it! 🎼💫✨🌎🙏😊
How lovely it is to hear Miss Julianne’s mandolin solos at the opening and close of this piece. Sometimes this delicate, enchanting instrument can be drowned out by the more assertive instruments. Another treat would be to hear Julianne play an Irish mandolin on a track or two.
God has blessed Julianne Petersen with one of the most unique and beautiful voices. Her distinctive emotional subtlety and force are in the same class as Karen Carpenter, Bjork, Victory Boyd, Lisa Gerrard, and Aurora.
WOW’ now I’m a believer, that was down right the best version of that song I have ever heard… Thank You for sharing with us. By the way I subscribed and hit the like button, that was a no brainer.. Thanks

Thank you Petersens for still including my name in the credits of your musical masterpiece !!!! It's a great honor for me and I will be forever grateful....
I just realized that I've not played this for my wife. I'll bet she's gonna love Julianne's voice over Bob Dylan's any day. It just might be the thing that will make her enjoy this song.

I think it's a bit unfair how an entire family can have it all like all the talent and all the good looks as well! I only found them today and I'm already addicted to their music😂❤ Amazing ❣️
Another incredible performance! I loved the intro and outro with just Julianne and Matt playing. Thier mandolin/guitar combo was beautiful and perfectly done!
What a brilliant and unique version of Bob Dylan's classic "Blowin in the Wind" released by the amazing family band "The Petersens" on Bob Dylan's Birthday. This wonderful version is unique from all of the others in so many good ways. It features Julianne, the youngest who has such a lovely and sweet singing voice. Then there is the awesome mandolin solo at the beginning and end of the song, the harmonies of the three lovely sisters, particularly with the beautiful "La, La, Las" in the middle of the song and the brilliant musical mastery of each one of the band and featuring Emmett, the "Amazing Dobro Man" who is right up there with the worlds greatest players, plus all of the heart-warming smiles of these genuinely beautiful and lovable decent people. And even the outro is special featuring the keen humor of Julianne and Matt. All done live, as with other great live videos that you should check out of this band who represent everything that is right with American music today. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY and THANK YOU for all of your terrific songs TO THE GREAT BOB DYLAN, and so many, many more!
I love the way you chose to end the song with every instrument stopping throughout the last verse and chorus. It actually took me by surprise! Haha. Beautiful cover!
My family saw them at the beginning of June. In fact, we made the trip just to see them. They did not disappoint. It was terrific! Wished we could have enjoyed the meet and greet, but we had to get to Top of the Rock. Also great!
Wow! What a poignant arrangement of one of Bob Dylan's greats. There are so many accolades I could give but I'd be here all night. During the instrumental, though, Katie's fiddle and Emmet's dobro sang to each other. Gave me goose bumps.
I agree! I'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed! IMO she needed to push her voice from breaking all the time! as we see she has a beautiful voice! plus her mandolin playing seems a lot stronger, at times you could hardly hear it! But saying that Ellen tops them all, just my opinion! Now if you could do more Bob Dylan !!!
What a gem of a song from long ago. I love to hear young artists cover songs from my youth. Your parents raised you well. This song has been covered by many great folk singers, but none better than this version! 👍👍 Love the arrangement - especially when the bass kicks in!!
Love this! especially how it's Julianne solo at the beginning and the end, brilliant arrangement! Just the right amount of everything and the way her mandolin carries the song all the way thru. Anyone else getting "Galway Girl" vibes from the opening Mandolin chop before she starts singing ? this is top notch, a very addicting song, I can't stop listening over and over again. Great job folks !
Julianne I really love your rendition of this timeless classic Folk Song. I can't thank you enough for doing this beautiful song. As always I look forward to the next song by the amazing Peterson.
Starting into the weekend with a new video from "The Petersens". And with a wonderful song in a new version and arrangement 👍. What else shall I expect ? Nothing ! I feel so good and confident, thank you Petersens !!! Greetings from Germany 😘.
That was a fantastic version, sure Bob Dylan is very proud of you , thank you so much, Julianne voice is perfect for this song! 👍 Friendly regards from Barcelona, Catalonia. 🙌☀♥
Great arrangement! One of my favorite parts about your videos is that you guys will actually look at the camera. I know it's traditionally frowned upon, but in the case of a TH-cam performance, I think eye contact really makes for a more personal connection! Julianne, you have such a great tone! You have come such a long way since y'all started these videos, both in your sound and in your "stage presence".😆

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?

Julianne's voice is perfect for this. Love the arrangement and instrumentation for this one.
Yeah, but I'd love to hear her voice mic'd up a bit. Lovely!
@@billgrey if they put this on an album, I'm sure it will be. They do an amazing job recording outdoors, and if you haven't seen them live, you need to fix that. But you can't beet a studio for total control.
agreed!!
It’s more important than ever that we listen to quiet voices. Wise people rarely shout. But quiet voices do create a problem for sound engineers, especially in an outdoor location.
They are the gift that keeps giving with their rich and velvety arrangements, wonderful musicianship and personal presence. Love to see them tour Australia.
whatever they perform, I always like it.But Julianne's vocal has brought something special into this song.
I don't have daughters. Three sons. But if I had daughters, I'd want daughters like these.
Absolutely outstanding!
Always a treat when this family's loveliness appears on TH-cam. Thank you for sharing your gifts.
Fantastic instrumental parts, arrangement, audio production, vocals!!! Thank you so much!
Brilliant arrangement from the Petersens and Emmett, Love the Vocals from the Petersen sisters
Heard you all last week in Branson...wonderful! Loved the concert...personal, yet very professional! And I had not heard of you before! Now listening to your many beautiful ballads on Utube! My husband was so pleased to hear you have Norwegian blood!
It’s great to see (and hear) how much confidence Julianne has gained in the past few years. Her unique vocal style is a treat.
I don't know what it is, but there is something in those smiles that makes me smile every time. Thanks for taking me back to the sixties for a few minutes.
Thanks! What a wonderful version.
Katie, Ellen and Julianne voices together are something of wonderful.
They are the Noah's Ark of the music, in the World Flood of ugly sounds...
They never, ever step on each other's toes. So professional.
😂
Thank you SO much, The Petersens, with each note you play, your music's voice whispers a reminder to treasure the sheer beauty in the simplicity of every day. The world could use a little more sparkle, and you all are just the ones to provide it! 🎼💫✨🌎🙏😊
Thank you for shining such an intense light of positive vibes on all of us.
Perfect song for Julianne to sing lead. Also cool to see the cardinal right there at 2:08. Some of that Dogwood Canyon wildlife gets in the video!
Thanks for the report, I hadn't noticed! 👍
What a fantastic arrangement, superbly performed. Thank you Petersens for a great start to the weekend.
How lovely it is to hear Miss Julianne’s mandolin solos at the opening and close of this piece. Sometimes this delicate, enchanting instrument can be drowned out by the more assertive instruments. Another treat would be to hear Julianne play an Irish mandolin on a track or two.
Like a fine wine these folks get better and better over time. Better sounding and even better looking (if that's at all possible)
Her voice was made to cover Dylan. Wow!
I was thinking the same thing. It sounds exactly like how he'd have sounded as a woman.
This was my coming-of-age song! Thank you! Wow...
God has blessed Julianne Petersen with one of the most unique and beautiful voices. Her distinctive emotional subtlety and force are in the same class as Karen Carpenter, Bjork, Victory Boyd, Lisa Gerrard, and Aurora.
Reminds me of a young Allison Krause
WOW’ now I’m a believer, that was down right the best version of that song I have ever heard… Thank You for sharing with us. By the way I subscribed and hit the like button, that was a no brainer.. Thanks
Welcome to the Fantastic Petersen Fan Club community! 🎉
You should check out Julianne’s vocals on Make You Feel My Love, which the band did last summer…
Thank you, the Petersens for this wonderful share!
Thanks for starting off the big weekend for us with a classic so old that I was young when Bob sang it. God bless our Band and all reading this. be safe this weekend
Hi Sooch. I hope everything is going well for you. As always, I wish you a happy weekend!
@@Roberto-pd8vn Thank you very much for your message Roberto. You made my day better my friend. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy this weekend
I love watching the mom playing the bass! What a cool band!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful light. It means more than you can imagine.
1:46 Love the vocalizing and harmonizing! And your smiles while doing it. It makes up for the lack of harmonica in the original! ☺️
I absolutely love these beautiful kids! Incredible voices. They always do a great job.
Beautiful video and presentation.
God bless you and all here! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I just found this video because of a YT mix recommendation. Tbh I didn't expect much, but I was blown away... Well done, guys! Really, really enjoyed this :)
Great content throughout the channel! 😉
You are an example for all of us. Your music is inspirational and your kindness towards each other is a lesson on family life.
I think it's a bit unfair how an entire family can have it all like all the talent and all the good looks as well! I only found them today and I'm already addicted to their music😂❤
Amazing ❣️
Aren't they the best?
A beautiful rendition of one of Dylans masterpieces. Thanks for posting.
fortunately exists this musical side of USA.Nice voices good music and good adaptations of classic hits
Too good the Peterson's .. God bless you all amazingly
I love the way you chose to end the song with every instrument stopping throughout the last verse and chorus. It actually took me by surprise! Haha. Beautiful cover!
this song is perfect for me in this time of my life . realy nice family . thanks a lot .
Starke Jungs, die so tolle Mädels möglich machen! Vielen Dank, auch für das schöne Bild.
😊 Bluegrass take on an iconic folk tune. Absolutely brilliant. Well done 👏
Saw this wonderful family live yesterday in Branson. It was even better than we imagined. Beautiful singing and playing, a really good time.
My family saw them at the beginning of June. In fact, we made the trip just to see them. They did not disappoint. It was terrific! Wished we could have enjoyed the meet and greet, but we had to get to Top of the Rock. Also great!
A Day with Music from the Petersens is a good Day :)
Wonderful like always!
A lot of warm Greetings from Germany :)
I don't know if you've seen, the band are playing in Köln again this summer. Tickets in the description 🎉
@@Liz.Newton Oooooooooh wow! I will have a Look into it. Thank you so much :)
It is so touching, I even don't' how to thank you enough... warmly to all of you and God bless you always! Chris from British Columbia Canada
That sign just had to move to let the Petersen's do their thing in the most majestic of settings! Of course, it got put right back! Love you folks!
Great performance and very nice singing!
Wow! What a poignant arrangement of one of Bob Dylan's greats. There are so many accolades I could give but I'd be here all night. During the instrumental, though, Katie's fiddle and Emmet's dobro sang to each other. Gave me goose bumps.
Thank you so much. This is outstanding, all of you all are amazing, extra applause for the steel guitar
Julianne earned the smile knowingly she nailed the song. She strengthened her vocals compared to earlier songs.
@@rockinrobb4350
It’s inflected style
She’s refining her vocal caliber.
AWESOME, beutiful, tears to my eyes, wish the whole world could hear those words and act
Jules is such a beautiful young lady. I've enjoyed watching her grow into her voice.
What a gem of a song from long ago. I love to hear young artists cover songs from my youth. Your parents raised you well. This song has been covered by many great folk singers, but none better than this version! 👍👍 Love the arrangement - especially when the bass kicks in!!
Thanks for sharing the joy of these beautiful harmonies!
Love this! especially how it's Julianne solo at the beginning and the end, brilliant arrangement! Just the right amount of everything and the way her mandolin carries the song all the way thru. Anyone else getting "Galway Girl" vibes from the opening Mandolin chop before she starts singing ? this is top notch, a very addicting song, I can't stop listening over and over again. Great job folks !
I totally agree! Plus, Dylan wrote so many great songs.
Julianne I really love your rendition of this timeless classic Folk Song. I can't thank you enough for doing this beautiful song. As always I look forward to the next song by the amazing Peterson.
Always LOVED that song. Now loving your velvety interpretation of it.
Thank you!
Fantastic, Julianne! So many memories!❤
Best version ever. Keep visiting Ireland!!

Starting into the weekend with a new video from "The Petersens". And with a wonderful song in a new version and arrangement 👍.

That was a fantastic version, sure Bob Dylan is very proud of you , thank you so much, Julianne voice is perfect for this song! 👍
Friendly regards from Barcelona, Catalonia.

I was fortunate enough to see Peter Paul and Mary perform this song
Great arrangement! One of my favorite parts about your videos is that you guys will actually look at the camera. I know it's traditionally frowned upon, but in the case of a TH-cam performance, I think eye contact really makes for a more personal connection!
Julianne, you have such a great tone! You have come such a long way since y'all started these videos, both in your sound and in your "stage presence".😆
