Thanks to the feedback received and our supporters we have upgraded a number of cuts, added more inbetween cels and revamped some of the animation in hopes to make the experience more enjoyable, thank you for the support strugglers.

Its not that they have bad animation but they neglecting the fans buy not giving us what we want , I am happy and will support studio eclipse for what they have dared to give to us .
Berserk 2016 got bad animation. The one from 1997 and the movies are well done
tbh i gave up a long time ago on the hope that the series will be animated , it has too much fucked up shit in it to be made by a big studio , and all that stuff has some purpose over the storytelling so if we get a decent adaptation it will be heavelly dumbed down

This is stellar. For me, I think certain cuts or scenes might have needed more frames due to a little lack of smoothness but there is definitely many that capsulate smoothness, not wasting a single frame. Like others said, there is an obvious amount of love given to this from the mouth movements and the voice acting, I can see that it is obviously a fan made project when I first saw it, but that does not take away from the art that you could bring. Hopefully the final product will be something to look forward to

The quality of the trailer was insane and so was the voice acting i did not expect them to do a dub for this. Its absolutely insane for a small studio to do that much for us 🙏

1:52 If you notice, The lip sync here is very different from the Japanese version. They actually animate the mouth movement to say "Guts", rather than "Gatsu" as in the Japanese version. It's pretty phenomenal because most people wouldn't even notice, given that anime often just has lip flaps that don't sync with the dialogue.

English dub is so underrated! No one appreciates the beauty of English dubs! They all would rather listen to garbage like the jp dubs, ugh! Yeah no wonder, their ears are so bad from the high pitched squeaky voices that they can't hear real acting!

some lines from this trailer were definitely questionable, like the soldier with an accent saying guts had “enough weapons to start a civil war” fell totally flat for me. guts sounds pretty good though. heres just hoping the writing is good

"Berserk" is something that in my youth blew my mind and became one of the founding pillars of how I wrote my stories. I am excited to see that a new generation will see and feel this tale.

genuinely could see this studio getting big enough to be contracted for new anime. The art style is crisp, good motion and weight to everything, truly huge potential with them.

The English V/A of Guts in this did an amazing job tbh. You can feel the rage in his voice just like in 1997 Anime adaptation.

keep in mind they either went the lazy route or didn't have the budget. The first time it was old and you can't blame them, for the time it was good. The movies had solid animation is it top tear? not really but it didn't have the same funding as episodes like mha or demon slayer. Although had enough to still be good, so I don't get why you put the s in studio's implying its variety of mistakes when it's just universal who fucked it in 2016 using cgi for two seasons and dropping it

I highly doubt they will ever be able to sell this in any shape or form due to copyright, fan made projects usually have fundraisers tho if you want to support the creators

Anyone can portray the easy emotions, like anger or rage, but not everyone can portray the nuanced ones. The transition from Casca to the sword was beautiful.
It was tearing away at the heart strings with that one but in a very beautifully hurtful way :)

I noticed a change, in the Japanese trailer, when casca says "gut-su" her lips move two times, but here it is once. And it makes sense syllable wise. Hate off to make the little change for that. 😮

it's incredibly difficult and time consuming to create a 2D animation, to see something made out of pure love is just amazing and I salute the team. With that said I do hope to the final cut to be a bit more akin to the first teaser since the art quality on that one is simply spectacular and could easily put the studio on the map. Cheers

I really am used to the VAs of the 1997 Berserk anime for the characters but the delivery and emotion as well as dramatic features set in their delivery of each scene is peak on point for Berserk.

I think the rights for the IP are probably expensive as fuck due to his popularity and especialy now that the autor died, also the maga wont end any time soon so its a risky one to adapt, who knows how much it will take or if it will be finished at all
